Hello-My name is Carl Jenkins-Aka- Radar man. This is the first true Rp that I've done thats really gone anywhere. I enjoyed it keenly, and I hope the actors and readers enjoyed it as well. I will do a brief explanation on how this works-

Scene by scene Replay: We go through the scenes of The Clay hand and Kayman, telling of our favorite parts and what we would have done different- ect.

The making of: Finally the people may know how we created Kayman, where the ideas originate from and what locations were used in the making of-

Actors and characters: introduce your characters and tell about where you got the idea for them, give extra info about them-unknown in the film.

Hidden features, Rumors and other info: Talk about extra scenes you would've added, thank members of the film, talk about rumors and what Kayman really meant.

Goodbye Fair Kayman: Each actor says goodbye to Kayman in an ending statement. Then I shall reveal a alternate ending if this is a succesful thread.

Have fun, talk, and enjoy your memories of this classic Rp.

Thank you!

-Radar Man

Hello-My name is Leonard Malton- I am here to interview the actors and players in the grand hit film-The Kayman Travels. What started out as a simple Independent Rp, grew to porportions of extravagance- but in the most kindly terms.

Here with me are-Dren ,and Cloud Strife. I will first be talking to Mr.Strife about this award winning movie.

Tell me Mr.Strife- in "The clay hand" what scenes did inspire such phenemonal acting in you?
PostPosted: Tue May 09, 2006 6:11 pm

"Well Leonard, first off I gotta say my favorite scenes were probably the bar fight scene where my character Sid was in the cage match, I really felt as if that went in exactly the right direction. I also particularly liked when I first met Draqx, and my small fight with the woman with the pickaxe in the bar. Later in the film I liked the battle scene especially the death of Frank the bartender...We had to do like 9 takes because I kept crying during it, but the Battle of Ford Town was fun to do, and the special effects of when I hit the RV was perfect. I also like the ending battle when we found the Clay Hand inside of one of the RV's and it shattered it was an excellent way to begin the sequal..."

Stroking his chin and nodding along, Leonard than asked him, " And how about you-Mr.Morningard?"

Truthfully, I loved the first one-just for its simplicity-it was a good film. A pure action packed thrill ride. And all great things start small-so it was a good way to start the whole adventure. If I had to pick a favorite part- it was when Sid made Pelbina and Rufus-destroy eachother on the top of the Rv. And I agree with Sid, the bar match was a exhilirating beginning.

"Hmm Hmm.." Turning to Cloud he asks, "Now, in the first part of the sequal-The kayman travels- Mr.Strife, what scene would you peg as the oddest in dialogue?"
PostPosted: Tue May 09, 2006 6:54 pm

"Hm...Well for my favorite scene it would most likely have to be the final battle with Blue Ruin, it was fun and exciting when it premiered I found even myself sitting on the edge of my seat and the addition of the THX sound system made it even better. I mean I've fought creatures like that in real life as you may or may not know and yet I still found myself really excited and even scared at times, I have saved the world once or twice, but I digress. The scene with the oddest diologue in my mind would probably be the scene in Dollar Town, with all of the zombies, especially when we were inside of the Comet Breaker. My short conversation with the Mad Hatter was very interesting, it was extremely odd though..."

Dren said, "My favorite scene was that of the Conversation between Hana and the half creep-Ginger, it was a thouroughly thoughtful scene."

Leonard than asked one more question about scenes in the forms of, " Tell me both of you- of all the parts of this Rp, which one would you have acted different in?"
PostPosted: Tue May 09, 2006 7:27 pm

"Well, I would actually have liked not to act so important, when I saw it at the premier, I noticed that I really stole the spotlight and frankly I would have liked to give more focus to the other characters because people like Hana, and Alex and such they were great but it really seemed to me that I stole all the spotlight and I really kind of felt bad for it...So if I could do one thing differently, I would stop being such a glory hog."

Dren answered, "If I could do anything-it be too have learn more about the inner workings of the cult of the Clay hand, and to have expanded upon them. I mean even henchman need a background."

Leonard said, "Thank you both for your input." He turns to the camera, "And now we will move on in topics to the making of."

((If you want Mech, you can take control of Leonard and ask questions as well))

((Um...Maybe, I guess))

The Making of Kayman

Camera fades back in, "Hi, I'm Leonard Malton, I've been talking with Cloud Strife and Dren, two of the movers and shakers of the RP industry with the release of The Kayman Travels. Tell me gentlemen, what were a few of the locations where Kayman was shot?"

"Well, Leonard, a lot of the film was shot in Australia. I remember we had most of the movie shot in the Outback, I guess it just had the sort of rocky desert look to it that Kayman was supposed to have. I also remember that we went to New Zealand to film the few scenes in which there was a forest. However my favorite part was when we shot the last few sequences in a sort of rain forest in northern Australia, it was pretty fun..."

(( Hey if you don't want to act as Malton, I'll do it)

Dren added, " And to make the Blue ruin more realistic, the tech producers, shot bursts of flames out of cannons- putting special stuff in the fire to make them burn blue. Actually during the film- one of the interns got his hair on fire from the cannons, he's bald now."
PostPosted: Fri May 12, 2006 3:43 pm

((No its fine))

Cloud laughed and said, "Yeah, poor guy, well its not permanent at least...I also really liked how when we actually fought Blue Ruin ya know not our conversation with the spewing flames and such, they essentially had us slashing at this guy named Jack Daringer, really nice guy, he's extremely good maybe even better than Andy Serkis, but anyway they had us slashing and such at him while he wore the full motion suit and a mask which was just a blue angry face." He started laughing.

Leonard nodded in intrest, "Very intresting...Well, here I'm going to show you a clip of the firing of the Comet Breaker."

The screen on the back wall showed a five minute clip of when the Comet Breaker fired its massive blast into the air when Sid and the gang were at the hospital.

When it was over Leonard said, "Now...tell me, was all of that blue screen? Because from what I've heard you had LucasArts working on your special effects and they hardly ever use a blue screen..."

"Well building a fully automated Comet breaker would be pretty hard to do. So instead- they built one that was very small and fired from that. They expanded the sound of the explosion with other soundtracks-ya know mixing them up. Now though the small cometbreaker looked real and seemed real- in truth it was sort've real. The mini cometbreaker was fully automated as if such a thing truly existed."
PostPosted: Sat May 13, 2006 10:28 am

'Of course this automation made for some really interesting pranks on set and inside the movie as well. If one notices closely some of the odd debris on the dash of the RV and the inside of the Comet Breaker were earlier versions and concept designs. then there was the impromptu robot wars clash between some of the scrapped designs. That was going well till one of the guys thought it would be a good idea to load in small remote detonated percussion caps and BB shots in the model barrels.

As you can imagine that went a bit far including retro fitting multiple load systems in a few of them and wireless web cams for a tank wars compitition on one of the slack days when the weather prevented some filming. It would have been left at that if one of the crew didn't walk into a cross fire. Poor guy, I think he still had marks by the time shooting was finished. Ya, so that was shut down pretty quick, wouldn't have been so bad except that was the gattiling division facing off.

Leonard nodded and then said, "Well, thank you all for talking...However for right now we are out of time..." FINDING KAYMAN...

Camera fades in to a shot of the international terminal in Sydney Airport. Out of the plane steps a very tired looking Cloud a duffle bag over his shoulder. He looks at the camera and says, "Its about...Um...1:15 in the morning...And well, here I am...I was invited by my friend Dren to work on his newest project...He said he was gonna meet me here...Where is he anyway?" Cloud stumbles into the terminal and falls down into a waiting chair, in which he looks like he's about to fall asleep. "Come on Drean...I'm waiting man...I need sleep..."
