What is your favorite scene with the Phantom in it. Mine is... well all of them, but if I had to pick one then I would pick the one where he is on the rooftop singing and crying. It's so sad I cry with him.

Hm...
I'd have to say when he's on the roof, but just at the part where he's holding the note at the end (the "You will curse the day you did not do, all that the Phantom asked of you" line) and he's on the statue.

I have to say I liked the fight in the graveyard. It was a nifty added scene, and he kicked so much butt. heart

The one where Cristine is boing lead to the Phantom's "lair."
It's so cool, and I love the song Phantom of the Opera (which, as you all know, plays during that part), so it's a two for one!

Hmm...I have a few favorite scenes...
1. PotO scene (Erik/Christine): Ohh...<3 this scene... 2. Music of the Night scene (Erik/Christine): @_@ Must heart Erik... 3. All I Ask of You (Erik): crying I feel bad for Erik... 4. Masqueade (Cast): Wow...this is a well-orchestrated scene. 5. Don Juan (Cast): Ohh...0,0 Erik=hot!!!!*swoon* 6. Down Once More (Erik/Raoul/Christine): OMG, this is one of the most saddest scenes that I've ever seen... crying

I agree with you completely, mademoiselle. My favorite scene is the "All I Ask of You (Reprise)" on the roof. I thought the scene was very impacting and well acted, Gerard Butler is a very good actor, and I liked the anger he had when he sings "You will curse the day you did not do all that the Phantom asked of you...!" I basically love all the Phantom scenes and I do enjoy the scenes with Carlotta and the managers, Richard and Moncharmin (I go by their book names). I find these three characters to be very amusing and funny.

I really like the very end with the grave, the black and white film, and the red rose.

All I Ask of You for entirely different reasons than anyone else.
My personal interpretation of the scene is as follows:
Raoul is thinking: Oh my God, Christine it's alright. Please be okay. I think I might cry because I have no idea what the hell to do to make it better.
Christine is thinking: Oh s**t, I am using Raoul to escape this scary yet hauntingly attractive older man. Raoul loves me but I don't know if I really love him or I just want to use him as an "out" for getting in too deep with this phantom guy.
Erik: That tramp! She never really loved me, she's just been playing with me this whole time. Since I can't win her I shall destroy them both (even though Raoul hasn't got the faintest idea that he's wandered in on some other guy's piece of a**).
I just recently re-watched the movie (with the French audio, which I recommend once you know it off by heart, the voices are much better) I almost cried for Raoul last time I watched this scene. Before I would cry for Erik and be creeped out by Raoul but not so this time around. There is so much painful irony in it.
PS: I think Christine's a stupid stupid girl.

LaBelleIsolde, You have a point. That is a great interpretation of this scene. I hadn't thought of it quite like that.
My favorite scene is either the Mirror or Down Once More. They have just left such an impact on me since I've seen the movie.

Definetly when The Phantom reaches out his hand to Christine right before they go into his lair! The first touch!

1: All I Ask of You. They confess their love and kiss! Aww!
2: All I Ask of You (Reprise). Props to Gerald Butler for that scene. I was just like "Ohmigodhe'sgonnagether!"
3: Down Once More/Track Down this Murderer. So sad...I cried.
4: We Have All been Blind. Raoul's 'brilliant' plan... xd
And anything with the managers. Their scenes are usually pretty funny.
