The dark paths surround the graveyard. A foul smell arises from the tombs.
The Dark figure, known as Nightblade turns around.
Midnight.
Blackness.
His hand gripped into a fist
Mist started to form.
The smell worsened.
Out of nowhere, howls.
Howls like nothing before.
Nightblade knew these howls though.
He knew them too well.
The village surrounding the graveyard was in trouble.
The Demons had arised.

The Howls finally Stopped.
They demons had left the graveyard.
They had not yet taken a physical form, and were just wondering..
But when they did take the forms they needed......
Terror would arrise.
Nightblade turned into his wolf form.
Not a pleasent sight, but good enough for battle.
He started to run to the village,
hoping to catch a warriors attention.
There might be some hope.

The albino Lael comes out if her home in the town. She couldn't sleep. In just slippers and a night gown she starts to walk towards the edge of the town, hoping that some freash air will help her get some sleep.

In the lone night, there was no one to be seen.
It was very late.
Nightblade did not want to start barking and waking up the whole village.
He stopped. There was a figure.
He ran over to it, and slowly transformed.
"Do not be frightened."

Lael gasps as a wolf comes up to her, transformes, and tells her not to be afraid. For a minute she considers running, but freezes. Fourcing herself to take some deep breaths she calms herself down enough to think. Wondering why she's crazy enough not to run she asks, "What do you want?"

"I am the one they call Nightblade...and if you do not trust me, then you are just endangering your village."

"Nightblade? I've never heard of a Nighblade," she says uncertainly. "But..." She looks at the empty village around her. "I suppose I don't have a choice. What must I do?"

"There hasn't been a war here in more than three centurys. We have no army. There are some kids who play around with swords, but I don't know how good they are. Maybe some of the grownups can, but I don't know," she says, growing more worried.
