Want to know why he always wore that sweater? The reason he never took off his sweater, was because, Mr. Rogers was a Navy Seal and his arms we're covered in tattoos.

I knew about the tattoos but I didn't know it was because he was a Seal.

It's true, and the guy who played Captain Kangaroo was one of the 27 marines that survived Iwo Jima

Alot of people got all pissed when he was buried in Arlington National Cemetery cause he was buried next to Marine Generals and Commadants and he was only a Lance Corpral I think, but the reason he was buried there, he was one of the biggest heros of Iwo Jima

Heh... I think it's cool they buried him there. People just seem to put WAAAAY too much emphasis on rank and awards instead of what the person does.

Lets see, I have a great great grandfather who was an aid to one of the first commadants of the Marine corps, a great grandfather and some other relatives that helped in each American war fighting as Marines, my dad was a Marine and my sister is one. I guess you could say I have a bit to live up to
