If there IS gonna be a KH3....My brother says that they probably wont use the same characters! THATS MEANS NO SORA AND RIKU!!!!!!! gonk crying sad cry crying gonk Thats just TORTURE!! I hope it isnt truuuue. (kairi wont be there..thats a plus) but no sora and riku is just plain MEAN!! Ok..just say your opinions.. sad

As for it being on the PS3, that's what the theory is about a FFVII remake too. Though the PS3 will be insanely expensive, the animation is supposed to be the equivalent of FMVs... during normal gameplay. Again, we don't have nearly enough information to come to any concrete decisions right now... All of our incorrect assumptions about KH2 should be lesson enough for that.

There's no way they can cut them from the game- it's ABOUT them! I mean, do you have any idea how many outraged fans they'd have??? Honestly? They wouldn't be stupid enough to start a series and then, in the possibly last installemtn, cut it's main characters. Now, granit, they may cut some of the FF characters, but they won't cut Sora or Riku (or, unfortunately, Kairi). They'd have a mob on their hands. Square would really go bankrupt this time.

Kingdom Hearts doesn't have THAT kind of rabid fanbase. They have WAY too many established franchises that are undeniabley successful to go bankrupt after cutting two characters from one franchise. Especially sinse they merged with Enix, they have even more popular games. Namely the Dragon Quest games, which are insanely popular, especially in Japan. But I, too, don't think that Sora, nor Riku, nor Mickey are going to be in KH3. The reasoning? If you finish the game completely. Completely (100% Completion, all worlds, all treasures, etc.), you get to see a video along the lines of Deep Dive. Cryptic messages, eerie setting, mysterious characters.... Etc. It really point to the next game being in the far future in comparison to the most recent Kingdom Hearts. I'll link you guys to the video, so click it if you like. Don't worry, boys and girls, the video wouldn't spoil ANY plot details for KH2. But it's still as confusing as hell. O_o ...With the possible exception of it occuring just 6 years in the future, and it's just based on the now married-to-each-other Sora and Riku... 3nodding But that isn't gonna happen. stare From what I've heard about the Secret Ending (I haven't actually seen it yet...) it sounds like it might take place either in the past, or the very far future... But again, I don't even know what it looks like, so I can only give a very vauge estimate...
