We've all come up with our own theories and ideas. Some humerous, some realistic, and some just plain perverted. All we really want to know is this:
WHY DOES IT TAKE SO DAMN LONG TO MAKE THE KH GAMES?!?!?
And so, to help lessen our insanity (or, prehaps to indulge it), I invite you to henceforth compose a list with me - a list, explaining...
The Reasons Why It Takes So Long To Make The KH Games
01. They couldn't keep Sora and Riku apart long enough for them to do their scenes, and they kept scooting off to have their own little games.
- Nicky Sarian
02. The multiple graphics and codes needed to create such a massive and visually stunning game makes it difficult for a team of any size to create such a game.
- Panic! At the Disco.
03. Because they spent to long thinking of ways to make people subtly realize that Sora and Riku are the ones that love each other to prepare the public for the kinky sex scene in Kingdom Hearts 3.

04. Disney is as bitchy as a hormonal pregnant woman... and twice as critical.

06. People have to constantly remind Nomura, that no, Sora and Riku are not allowed to have sex during the game.

07. Sora and Riku refuse to get through a single scene without at least a dozen takes... during each of which they screw up. "By accident". And literally.

09. Donald keeps pushing for a pay raise.

11. The Organization XIII members keep getting their costumes confused.

14. It takes forever for Sora to get into his new costume. And when Riku is constantly removing it, that's a problem.

20. Sephiroth was trying to sue them for not giving him enough time in the game so he can be 'god'.

22. They had to erase all the romantic/nude scenes with Roxas and Axel. Because Disney said it was a "no-no"

23. Let's just say accidents happen...

24. "Accidents" between Riku and Sora happened in someone else's trailer and the said 'someone else' demanded more security.

25. Many female workers on the sight suffered from massive nosebleeds during some 'extra' scenes between Roxas and Axel. Wonder why.

26. Kairi kept on yelling at Sora for stealing her stuff. (It's more of inside joke between my friend and me. Let's just say Sora has a cross-dressing alter ego named Usagi!)

27. Auron got touchy during some of the filming and attacked the camera man.

28. Sora kept on losing his clothes, one way or another.

29. Riku and Sora kept putting their keyblades where it didn't belong...

It was worth the wait...
Buuuuuuuuuuuuut...
It took them so long because they couldn't keep Sora and Riku apart long enough for them to do their scenes, and they kept scooting off to have their own little games.

I'm sure that's not the answer you want to here though. It's actualy because they spent to long thinking of ways to make people subtly realise that Sora and Riku are the ones that love each other to prepare the public for the kinky sex sceen in Kingdom Hearts 3.
