Well, I know the original like the back of my hand.
Tips? When you first leave the temple of time as an adult, DONT attempt to talk to any of the zombie things in the town square. you cant. D:

o.0 wait, when there was a special rerelease of Master Quest? ah well, tips, shadow temple scares the crap out of me. So take your time and don't rush though the game. Its a great challenge and better than the original OoT in my opinion.

Oh dear, The Ocarina of Time is and always will be my favorite game--though, it will be challenged by Okami. I absolutely adore that game, and the new release makes me want a GameCube.
Though, I suppose one tip would be: when going to get your horse, if you want a horse, you must challenge the rancher with your choice as Epona. <3 It's like the hand of the video game gods commanding you to take the prettiest horse. ^_^
Also, the pea pod things that come out of the ground and fly around--forgot the name of them and am meerly taking a guess--try to avoid those. They're a pain in the a** to kill, and just regenerate. Though, when you get some practice, they're really fun to kill.
And, try to capture a lot of Poes after you leave the Temple of Time as an adult, because they can get you a lot of rupies and what not.

Ok... I feel really bad now. sweatdrop I should have been a lot more specific. I was in Gamestop last night, and I saw a title in the used games section that read "Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time/Master Quest. I'd never heard of it before so I asked the guy what it was. He told me it had come with a reservation for Windwaker. I bought it once I found out it had the original game+the Master quest version. Best part of the whole thing was, the guy that sold it used, never opened it. I got a new game at used price. It was STILL IN THE SHRINK WRAP!

the only version I have is the nintendo 64 version... gonk Master Quest is nearly identical to the original Ocarina of Time, except with more added dungeons and a few tweaks in the storyline.

Master Quest! Ah the wonderful Master Quest! heart I've always loved OoT , and the Master Quest version of it is just as good (if not better)...it's always nice to have a little variation!
Have any of you girls heard of Twilight Princess? Yes its Zelda, but it's not out yet! gonk I can't wait! gonk

gonk gonk ahh my siblings always sell the good stuff... original Ocarina Of Time for N64, Ocarina Of Time: Gold Edition, Ocarina Of Time: Master Quest... now I have the Zeldas collection disk for gamecube...which I boutht with my own money and keep in my room ninja but yeah....I didn't know they re-released it either scream gonk Edit: Rosemerta Master Quest! Ah the wonderful Master Quest! heart I've always loved OoT , and the Master Quest version of it is just as good (if not better)...it's always nice to have a little variation! Actually I don't think they added anything, they just changed the dungeons around so they're harder. Personally I thought they ended up making some of it easier...

I didn't even knew it when I ordered Wind Waker, but it came with my copy and I was, to say the least, pleasantly suprised and very happy (since my N64 broke).
Anyhow, Master Quest is so much harder then the original OoT. Tip; forget EVERYTHING you know about the dungeons in the original.
