The Onion Radio News: Judge Orders God to Break Up Into Smaller DeitiesTranscript (in case anyone, for whatever reason, can't listen to it) It's The Onion Radio News. A judge orders God to break up into smaller deities. This is Doyle Redland reporting. Calling the theological giant's stranglehold on the religious industry (quote) "blatanly anticompetitive," a U.S. district judge has ruled that God is in violation of antimonopoly laws, and ordered Him to be broken up into several less powerful deities. District Judge Charles Eliott Shoalfield handed down the decision in Washington, D.C., earlier today. "He has carved out for Himself an illegal monotheopoly!" Leading theologians are applauding the God break-up, saying that it will usher in a new era of greater worshipping options, increased efficiency, and more personalized service. This is Doyle Redland for The Onion Radio News. (Brought to you by the movie "Slither," in theaters this Friday. For more information, go to slithermovie.net.) I listen to this podcast everyday, and I think that this may be the best one since "President Bush Designates 1 Million Acres for Federally Protected Water Parks." xd

I bet sueing god would be pretty hilarous. Guess what? When he doesn't show up for trial he'll be incontempt to court! blaugh

If you don't show up for the trial your incontempt to court. If God didn't show, that can either mean he's incontempt or he doesn't exist.

It's 'in contempt of court' I think. But what if he did show up and was like "PWND" and just made everyone forget there was even a trial?

If he showed up and made everyone forget the trial? Then that would show him up to be a wimp, and afraid of his "Children."
What kind of god is he than if he afraid of his creations?

DivideByZero14 Sanguvixen What kind of god is he than if he afraid of his creations? *looks around at humanity* <_< >_> A smart one. True...well if you stick to the stories humanity killed the creator's son. So yeah....I guess that would be a smart diety to not show his face.
I mean if they killed his son what would they do to him?
I know....snipe him from a distance! Pick me! Pick me! I want to go kill god and free humanity from his vile claws! (That is what happens at the end of Xenogears...or so my friends say. They kill god)
If you knew that a God was going to manifest into a mortal form and visit earth, what would you all do?

Has anyone seen Crash? I just saw Crash, and I thought it was terrific. It's kind of depressing, but it's a great movie and commentary on racism. I could spend months trying to analyze all the symbology. If you get the chance, see it.

Stupid ******** whore. gonk A friend of mine who I was going to split an apartment with next semester suddenly ******** tells me "oh sorry, parents are giving me more money, so I can get a single apartment, so you're on your own." What the hell? Granted we hadn't gotten a place yet, but don't make plans with people, actually get into the process of looking for a place, and then back out after several damn months >.< Now I'm hoping our mutual friend, who I don't know as well but was also looking for a place, is interested in splitting one still Dx Or maybe I'll find the mythical cheap single apartment without roaches that's close in to campus. God's more likely than that in this city. I'll save you the long rant of curse words I feel like right now. It wouldn't be so bad if I had a chance anymore of getting university housing. Seeing her tomorrow is not gonna be fun. Maybe I'm just over-reacting at the moment Dx
