The Trax were put together in Korea in 2004 by Yoshiki and SM Entertainment. They're the first visual kei group in South Korea. Their music combines the beloved viz kei sound with a bit of rap (sounds really good). They have yet to release an album, but they have 4 singles and have done some covers of X-Japan songs. They sing in Korean, Japanese, and English.

It seems as though most people know them because of Yoshiki.

Mister Deja Vu I heard 1 song, I want some more. I've got some preview clips on the site, but my morals (and my bandwidth) won't let me post full songs. In my opinion, PARADOX and Over the Rainbow are probably the best. heart 3nodding

I've heard of them, but haven't listened to them... *makes note to go over and check out the clips sometime*
They're cute. (And while we're on the subject of Koreans, the guys from DBSK are pretty cute too! <3)

Yeah, but it's okay if Yoshiki's writing half of their music, because Yoshiki owns all and they're all doing it to get the rock industry going in Korea. I'm upset with the Korean translation of Tears, though.
Yeah, the guys in DBSK are cute, but I'm not sure how much I like the music. Some of it is good, some of it is waaaay too pop-ish for me.

I'm sure you're aware of their song Scorpio. heart My absolute favorite at the moment. Anyway, why are the lyrics so different between the Korean and Japanese versions?

Merciless Darkness I'm sure you're aware of their song Scorpio. heart My absolute favorite at the moment. Anyway, why are the lyrics so different between the Korean and Japanese versions? The Japanese version of "Tears" was the same as X-Japan's, as far as lyrics go. As for the Korean... well, go look. They made it a breakup song. They took the beautiful song for Yoshiki's father and made it a breakup song. Well, Yoshiki was probably overseeing the whole process so I guess it's not too bad, but that just seems kinda wrong.
I've yet to translate the rest of their Japanese songs, so I can't compare yet. The Korean version of "Scorpio" is different. More of a punk sound than the Japanese, and no profanity. I wonder why they added the profanity for the Japanese one. It's not like they had to change it to make it fit since the swearing is in English....

Exactly... And I hate to say this, but the actual 'F' word is more pleasing to the ear than 'freakin'. For some reason it just doesn't sound right.

Yeah, but they bleep a word out in the Japanese version. Kinda interrupts the song. I don't like too much swearing in music anyway... that's just me though.
