I cannot pay homage to someone I have never read to my knowledge.

If your local library doesn't have at least five of his books, (multipe copies aside...) then I will eat my shoe.
He's a sci-fi/fantasy writer. He wrote... Farenheit 451, among other things.
Isn't Farenheit 451 (the movie) famous? Anyway... whatever. If you see one his books, (especially 'The Toynbee Convector', 'R is for Rocket', or 'Farenheit 451', READ THEM!!! eek
You'll LOVE THEM!!! Well, I loved them, at least...
Seriously though, don't y'all read his books for high school literature?

We had to read books like In Cold Blood in high school which was fabulous. I prefer an analysis of the criminal mind over science fiction any day, but that is just me.

I do not hink i shall be reading anymore books by this author as Farenheit 451 gave me nightmares and to read further works by him would only remind me of that book.

I've read and loved Farenheit 451 and Something Wicked This Way Comes by him.
Farenheit 451 is one of the best dystopian novels I've read, it's up there with Ninteen Eighty-four and A Clockwork Orange.

Fahrenheit 451, to the best of my knowledge, is not a movie. Independent film maker and political junkie Michael Moore did a documentary on 9/11 and the Bush Administration titled Fahrenheit 911, which was rather popular. Could you have meant that, instead?

orly? ;P I liked F451 a lot even though I'm not fond of those sorts of books, but I next to despised Something Wicked This Way Comes. It felt more like a short story that he was being paid to drag out. *shrug* On the whole, though, I like Bradbury a lot. When I was younger I used to read our school textbook during my teacher's lectures, and I'd always head over to the short story section and peruse his works.

I kept on freaking out whenever I first read Fahrenheit 451, the thought of all those books burning. gonk So far that's the only book of his I've read, but hopefully that will change soon. I remember seeing on TCM or ACM a movie of Fahrenheit 451, but I wasn't able to watch but five minutes of it.

Something Wicked This Way Comes is one of my favorite books. I've also read Fahrenheit 451, Dandelion Wine, and The Halloween Tree. Ray Bradbury is my favorite author.

I finally read Farenheit 451 my junior year. I liked it. The movie was a little corny, but it was made in the sixties. It was still a good interpreation.

My favorite is still The Martian Chronicles.
There is a Farenheit 451 movie that was made in Britain. It's fairly good, but doesn't give the whole feeling of the novel.

I love Ray Bradbury.
I am more of a fan of his short stories though.
My favorites being
"The Toynbee Convector" "I Suppose you are wondering why you are here?" "The Last Circus" "Colonel Stonesteel's Genuine Home-made Truly Egyptian Mummy" and "The Smile"
I really enjoyed Farenheit 451. But I mostly just read his short stories.

Bradbury rocks. Farenheit 451 is possibly my favorite fiction work ever, and the Martian Chronicles are excellent. 3nodding
