[Luca Leone] vs Tiger Hat

After a screeching shout, “Boy Be A Tiger” began to play, and a man dressed in orange garb walked out onto the ramp. He had two very noticeable features... An orange striped tail, and a hat shaped like a tiger... the Tora No Boushi... the TIGER HAT!

Tiger made his way down the ramp, fresh off his victory over Apex in a brutal War Games match. He should have been ecstatic, but he had no look of joy, just the same deadpan stare that the WWF:G crowd had gotten used to over the past few months. Boos rained down on him as he sauntered to the ring.

He slid under the bottom rope, quickly hopping to his feet and heading to the far side of the ring. Hopping up on the second turnbuckle, he looked over the crowd, who continued to jeer. He made no motions; he didn't raise his arm, nor pose, just turned his head and stared. After a few seconds, he leapt back down to the mat, retreating to an adjacent corner as he stretched his arm, waiting for his opponent.

Shoot to Thrill

The main lights dimmed as the music played over the PA. A blue spot light came to life, passing over the audience until it hovers over, finally forming a bullseye over the Tiger Hat!


Finally, a figure stepped out onto the stage, the blue lights raining down over it. Suddenly a pair of LED glasses came to life along with a similar looking emblem coming over the titantron. Luca Leone stepped further out onto the stage as the words Huntress flashed across the titantron and over the emblem. The Lioness held up both hands up, pointing at either side of the audience, holding her fingers up like guns as series of fireworks went off on stage.

"Weighing in at 120 pounds, residing in Mexico City, the Azure Huntress, Luca Leone!"
Luca stepped off the stage as the crowd erupted with cheers from the explosive entrance. She walked down the ramp, crossing from each side of the ramp to give a few high fives to the front row patrons. Two Tiger's in two weeks, and the Lioness was actually thrilled to be competing against the Tora No Boushi! Reaching the bottom of the ramp, she quickly rolled in to meet her opponent.

As Luca rolled into the ring, Tiger immediately charged forward, aiming some stomps at the shoulder of his opponent before they managed to get their bearings. He hadn't even waited for the bell to ring to spring forward. He was here tonight to make a statement, and unfortunately for Luca, she was in his path.  

[Mister Mirage]

Boos erupted for the Tiger Hat as he went after the young Leone, ruthlessly stomping at her as she entered the ring! Several stomps connected to her shoulder as she attempted to get back to her feet.

 

[Extremist-Saint-Joey]

As Tiger's stomps connected, the bell rang thrice, almost drowned out by the noise of the crowd. Luca seemed undeterred by the stomps, and Tiger expected no less fron the lioness. In a rare situation where he had a weight advantage, he decided to use it, as well as his advantageous position, to try and hook his arms around Luca's waist before she fully rose, attempted a pumphandle suplex to throw her towards the center of the ring.

Yet another underhanded start to a match, the Blue Blossom had much higher expectations for the renowned Tora No Boushi. Struggling to get upright, she was suddenly pulled into position for the pumphandle suplex and thrown into the air before landing on her belly in the center of the ring.

 

[Extremist-Saint-Joey]

Tiger quickly got back to his feet after tossing Luca overhead. As she landed on the mat, the crowd erupted once more with boos. In a brief moment of his mask slipping, he turned to the crowd, mouthing to them.

"WHAT!?"

He quickly snapped back to focus, turning back to his opponent. Stepping towards her, he would try to grab her by the head, to raise her to a standing position.  

[Mister Mirage]

The boos were disheartening to hear during such a matchup, and one so close to WrestleMania. Being pulled back to her feet by her head, the Lioness suddenly attempted to swipe Tiger's arms away with one hand and strike out for a slap with the other!

 

[Extremist-Saint-Joey]

The slap struck true - Tiger did not see the counter coming, and the sound echoed as it reverberated off of his cheek. He stumbled backwards one step, thrown off of his game. The crowd switched, erupting into a cheer as Luca pulled the momentum back to her side.  

[Mister Mirage]

The slap worked as intended, giving the Blue Blossom just enough room to pop up and attempt a dropkick aimed for the chest of the Tiger Hat!

 

[Extremist-Saint-Joey]

In quite the turnaround, Tiger was popped in the chest by the lioness, her two feet colliding with his chest and sending him to the floor. He bounced down quickly, landing on his back, but immediately getting back to his feet, trying to regain steady footing but stumbling towards her.  

[Mister Mirage]

The Lioness was met with cheers from the audience as she sprung up from the drop kick. Luca grinned at the Tora no Boushi as he stumbled forward and shouted out before leaping up for a second drop kick. "Yatta!"

 

[Extremist-Saint-Joey]

Tiger was taken down by a second dropkick, followed by the lioness ' mocking cry. Landing on his back, he quickly rolled to his front, slamming his fist on the ground in anger as he made his way to his feet once again.  

[Mister Mirage]

Raising to her feet once again, Luca takes a moment to gaze up at the cheering fans. Turning her gaze back towards her opponent, she points a finger at Tiger Hat. "Your anger makes you slow, Tora-san, and your vile tactics dishonor you! This is not the same Tiger Hat I looked up to. Shame on you!"
