[PRP] Hands Down (Vespara & Regulus)

Vespara hurried into her outfit, finding pieces of it strewn here or there about the club room floor. She'd always wanted to go to the Sin Bin with a hot date.... while she'd never expected this to happen, it was a fun, new memory. She hadn't seen much of the dance floor, and certainly now Graverobbers, but it had some amazing memories that were all her own. It was a far more successful visit than she'd thought.

Slipping on the last of her things, Vespara ran a few fingers through her hair before slipping up to where Regulus waited. "Shall we, bello?" she asked, eyes bright. She was certainly still flushed, and every movement reminded her of what they'd done together. It only made her anticipate what they might do the rest of the night. She'd be happy to follow wherever he might lead -- and speed would not be an issue.

Whatever this was, she liked it -- and she wanted more. They might have been predominantly strangers, but so far she enjoyed everything he had to offer. From the club to the fighting ring, to some more physical tricks... She knew he was Clanless, but did that matter? Not to Vespara. He might not have been Giovanni but it also meant he had a different take on unlife. Besides, most of the clan who was single and available were either into men, already taken, not interested in her, or she felt no interest in them. Honestly, she'd had no intention of getting involved with anyone, Giovanni or otherwise, wanting to focus on her rank, position, and abilities.

Ironic how she bumped into Regulus the same week she was offered a chance to study Necromancy under Nonna. She'd make it work, though... time with him, time with her studies--and hopefully, he'd continue to remain just as interested. If he never called her back after tonight, then she'd know what he was in it for--but oh, she hoped she piqued his interest more than just being an easy lay.

Wrapping an arm around her shoulders he pulled Vespara in close to his side as he opened the door and lead them out into the hallway. The club was still open and as busy as it had been when they left the main area. He had to navigate them a little before they were finally able to make it to the door and hit the street. Warm night air replaced the stuffy heat of bodies pressed in closely in a confined spot.

Regulus wasn’t the kind of man who was a ‘love ‘em and leave ‘em” type in all honesty. One night stands had never been his thing. He needed some kind of connection with a person before he ever slept with them. And there already was one building with Vespara. Tethering his heart to her. It was subtle. Creeping in unnoticed. Sure he liked her, enjoyed her company greatly. Even though she was Clanned. She colored his opinion about them a little differently now but he knew that Vespara did not represent her clan as a whole.

Yea urning back in the direction they had come he guided her through the city as quickly as possible.. he didn’t want to waste much time wandering about when they had a specific destination in mind.

But the wall would help him think. Give him time to unpack what was going on between them. What his feelings for her really meant. “Have you ever been to a goth fashion show?” It was idle conversation so that they didn’t have to walk entirely in silence. Perhaps if she hadn’t he could see about taking her to one. She would probably really enjoy herself. He tucked that idea away for later.

Soon they approached a tall, brick building. It looked well kept and just a little fancy. Definitely not in a slums neighborhood., but it was rather reasonable in price. Regulus ushered her through the door and over to the elevators. Pressing the up arrow button, standing there with his arm still wrapped around her as they waited. “It’s no penthouse but it’s up pretty high and has a great view of the city.” He mused. When the door opened they entered. Up and up the elevator went until it reached his floor. Stepping out they went about five doors down the hallway before he stopped in front of a door and pulled a set of keys out of his pocket. Unlocking the door and opening it, allowing her to enter first.

“Welcome to my home.” It was a sprawling apparent. A dark; gothic asthetid permeated all the decor. Dark velvet couches and lounging chairs in the living room were plush and inviting. Paintings hanged on the walls by various artists. Many depicted dark yet beautiful scenes. As he enters he closed the door behind him. Moving to shrug off his jacket and hang it on a hook on the wall near the door. “Something to drink?”

Vespara was happy to follow Regulus out of the club. She remained close to his side, her own arm wrapped about his waist as they walked. The night air was cool, but she still felt warm, a plethora of feelings still bubbling up from their time together. She hadn't expected for things to go so far so quickly, but she also had no regrets. Vespara was no innocent, and she knew what she wanted -- and right now, that was more of Regulus. She liked him. And why shouldn't she? He was intelligent, handsome, fun, and they had some things in common... He was an unexpected surprise, but a surprise she wanted very much to keep around.

"I have not," she confessed with a smile. "I didn't realize there were such a thing though it sounds right up my alley. Have you been to any?" She asked, curious. While she certainly could be the VIP in plenty of elite circles due to her lineage, Vespara spent much of her time focused on her dream of following the family into the soul trade and mastering necromancy. That meant her focus was much more insular -- studying all she could, and preparing for the day she could walk in Claudius footsteps. She still didn't know what Regulus did for a living, if anything, but that didn't seem important. What did she care? It didn't mean anything to Vespara. But then, she came from a family where she had it all and money meant little to her. She had plans of spoiling him with surprises, especially as she got to know what he liked, what he wanted, and his own dreams.

When they reached his building and entered the building, Vespara's eagerness only grew. She laughed lightly and leaned against him while they waited. "You could take me to a tent in some alley and I'd be happy, carino, because I'd still get to be there with you," she confessed. Maybe it was a bit of an exaggeration -- if he was living in a tent she'd get them a hotel or risk sneaking him into her room. Whatever awaited them would be just fine for her! Rest assured, she was no snob. "I think it'll be great," she assured.

Upon entering, Vespara took a look about, surprised but pleased by the decor. The gothic aesthetic pleased her greatly, and she admired the paintings on the wall. "It's beautiful," she complimented. "These paintings are gorgeous." Vespara approached one, hoping to better admire its detail and dark beauty. So it wasn't a mansion -- she didn't care. It was all his, and not a soul to bother him. The privacy that they'd get here was something she was most eager to have--and not just because she had every intention of picking up where they left off at the Sin Bin. It would allow them time to talk, time to spend together without outside distraction.

"That would be nice, carino I'll have whatever you're having," she encouraged, turning from the painting to let her eyes roam over his figure. What she really wanted to drink were his lips, but she'd get more kisses, and more, soon enough if she had her way.
