Veronica was clearly confused as to where she was going after the crazy rush of the Natus, regardless of how simple the first route of any region may be. Even after she picked up on the weird energy from the grassy field, she was still picking out feathers that stuck to her clothes. She wasn't advanced enough to detect whether this energy was one to be feared or whatnot. When she noticed the Arcanine passing by with Arkelos and Jezebel on top, the consideration of something dangerous being up ahead was confirmed. That said, she approached with care, almost sure that she was the last one to appear at the /show./ "Whoah. How did you guys manage to do that?" She stared up at the portal with her jaw dropped. She just stared as the Shadow Ball and Dragon Pulse were sent up by her teammate's pokemons. She stayed on the floor for a particularly long amount of time, it was as if her shadow was grabbing her and holding her down to the ground despite her hair clearly being pulled up towards the portal. Regardless of that strange appearance, eventually Veronica was pulled away and what seemed like was her shadow stayed behind.
This is where her senses felt heightened as she wasn't expecting herself to fly into the portal. Immediately, she looked around for a corner to place her back against. There wasn't a clear form to the "room" or wherever they ended up in so she just kept turning around in circles, slowly, as she tried to breath deeply to keep her grips on her sanity. It didn't help that everyone else was going nuts about the situation too. Her trusty Zoroark in his pokeball starts to shake. Veronica just holds the pokeball, awaiting for whatever was coming next with her eyes glaring and trying to adjust to the sudden darkness. She wondered if it was truly so dark or... if something could be seen? She didn't understand why she couldn't see through this darkness as normally as she could see during night time.
