A boy named Luffy is searching for the elusive One Piece, which is a treasure that every known pirate of the age was looking for. He hid in a barrel to find some food aboard a passenger vessel and then took on a fat female pirate who had a steel club as a weapon.

Toby, who was a coward, wanted to join the marines, but because he's so scared, he likely won't. He looks up to Luffy's bravery even though Luffy is a pirate.

Now Luffy is wanting to add a third person to his crew, assuming that Toby is on his crew already.
