I think that orchestra is better because I found the music to be slightly more challenging and fun, and they were all origionals. Most band pieces are arrangesments, and some arrangements can suck alot.
I play french horn.

I'd say band, considering our school district doesn't have the money for an orchestra.

Even though my school doesn't have one, I'd say orchestra is better. They tend to sound more balanced (that could just be me, though) and they do usually get better arrangements. Concert bands get a lot of pieces originally written for orchestra, and they can sometimes sound odd, just because a band has a much different sound.

I'd have to say orchestra as well, for the most of the same reasons. also, as a tuba player, when i get into orchestras it's really cool because there's only one tuba in an orchestra.

Orchestra, for the same reasons. I also don't know many bands that play Bach. (Bach is my idol)

Regional Band because I've made it to Regionals in Pennsylvania. It's a lot of fun and you meet a lot of nice people there, as well!
