Evergreen felt relief when she saw Kenshin's fury. Anger was one of the few forces which drove people to success without concern for the consequences. And there were plenty of consequences to be had with this endeavor. With the demon inside of him Byakko was bound to be a threat worthy of the Tenseigan Sage. Still, her loyal Templar had bested the demon before, and she had minimal doubt he would do so again. Especially since he aimed his frustrations he harbored for Toso at Byakko, thus accumulating the amount of tension he felt with him.
"Satoshi's methods for creating weakness in Utu were that of prophecy. It is not something he can fully wield." She said with a tone of which even she could not hide her disdain. The power of prophecy was a magic older than ninjutsu itself. It's abilities to force reality to bend to its whims can only be performed by beings who can both read it and enact the specific events which befall its existence. This is why there are such a myriad of prophecies but only so many of them become true. Composure returned to her face as she took a breath. "As of this moment Satoshi is nothing more than a child wielding power he does not truly understand. I am sure of my own safety for the moment, which is why Byakko is the true threat. And to that purpose, we will need someone who can read prophecy to perform the ritual. I have a plan for that, but for the moment your priority shall be to seal the demon."
Evergreen did not want to give Kenshin a moment to question the logic. She had to get him moving as swiftly as possible. "Your will is that of Arashi; a storm of fury and righteousness. I have no doubt that the demon will offer you power and glory beyond anything you could comprehend. However, I am also sure that you will ignore such temptations, and bring yourself back to this place of worship. Once you return we can begin the ceremony." She said softly.

▱▰▱Kenshin and Masato were in the massive cell complex under the citadel. He used his purifying nature chakra enhanced with Gyuki to purify Kurama. It was an extensive and exhaustive process that resulted in Kurama and Gyuki being purified of Jashin's influence. Kenshin stood up and left the room with Kameyo but turned around to look at Masato. "When you regain your strength you can follow us to Arashi or return to Konoha. Either way, be vigilant of the Jashinists." Kenshin would leave the citadel's cells and the palace before stepping outside. He covered his body in reincarnation chakra before he began levitating. "Follow me in the air if you have flight capabilities. If not then I can carry you when we get there. We must hurry." Kenshin then took flight and used his massive vision and focused pensively on the falling sky village.

▱▰▱Kenshin led the group up the mountain while his arrival was signaled by the playing of trumpets by the Sky Guards at the gates. Medics would tend to any and all who needed them once they reached the inner walls of the Pale Citadel through the Tenseisora town within the outer walls. All of the members of his group could disperse to rest or seek medical treatment. "Bring all sensors in the Citadel to the sky throne." Once he gave the order, he slowly walked toward the throne room. When he had an opportunity to sit on the sky throne and rest he would do so. He towered over the room and looked around prior to their arrival. Once the sensors were there, Kenshin would give them instructions. "You all should be familiar with Tosokurui Ashi Hojo's chakra signature. I need to pinpoint his location." Every sensor then sat and meditated at the foot of the massively tall throne. Kenshin would search as well using his tenseigan to scan over many countries. "Lord Hyuga, I think I may have pinpointed his chakra in Amegakure. But the area is...opaque. Filled with yin energy and dispersed chakra." Kenshin then focused his vast gaze on Amegakure and found a trace of Toso and Saiken's chakra in the village. "What's going on over there? I can barely see it. What on Earth is he doing there? Someone bring me the intel." A guard would immediately leave the throne room and return with military personnel who would fill Kenshin in on the details. "Satoshi, the crow eye, he killed a Lightning General and took power in Amegakure somehow. The general's head was sent to the Empress. That's all we know now but we're learning more. This is a recent development." Kenshin slammed his fist on the armrest of his throne and began gritting his teeth tighter than a vice grip. "I see." Kenshin began to meditate in order to dispel his rage but simply stood from his throne to retreat to his personal quarters and rest. Unbelievable, an Arashi rogue managed to take the Rain from the Lightning Empire and now Toso seems to have switched sides. Disgraceful." Kenshin was completely outraged by this development and only hoped that he was wrong. However, the fact that Toso abandoned Arashi indicated that him joining his son in the Rain was the most likely explanation.
Kenshin quietly remained in his personal office room and recuperated while weighing his options. He sought advice from his wife before hearing from advisors and ultimately settling on a new course of action. Within a few hours, he would emerge from his quarters and return to the sky throne to handle business. Kameyo, Shion, Musica, and any others would be able to meet with him here with a guard notifying each of them. "Going to the Rain Village is potentially hazardous. Our best course of action would be to get the Amekage and...former Arashikage to meet with us here. Yet for the same reason that we won't meet with them there, they might be hesitant to come here. Out of a fear of ambush. I must hold a Kage Summit here as the Pale Citadel is neutral ground among the villages. Our only allegiance is to the Lightning Empire despite my personal rank within Arashigakure. I'll resist the urge to arrest Satoshi for his crimes against the Empire. Justice will have to come for him another day. I need every kage to be united against the Jashinists if we're going to win this fight." Kenshin began writing letters to each of the world leaders and called upon a lineup of Pale Citadel guards to hand-deliver them simultaneously.

The electricity from the blade also forms bolts of lightning over the body of the user and appears to supercharge them. Hatake, Raiu, and Sage enhanced lightning can pass through the blade and apply to these lightning bolts. Draconic Sabre of Moon Sundering [ Getsu Sandaringu no Dorakonikku Seibā ] | Rank X | Bukijutsu [ Lightning ] | Complex This is the original ability of the ancient Getsuruito blade and thus requires the original katana form. 5 chakra can be spent to transform the blade to its original form upon activation of this technique. Crackling and thunderous dark blue lightning can be applied to the katana's edge at any rank and the same lightning can form a dragon head formed from electricity over the body of the user for 10 posts. This allows all spiritual techniques the sword comes into contact with to be slashed through and even cut in half at the same rank despite the complex nature of the technique. For half of the original cost to activate the technique a same-rank spiritual electrical energy slash can be sent out from the slash of the blade. She was a wallflower as Kenshin commanded his people. They moved diligently, reflecting that value of duty that the Sannin held onto. Her breath caught in her throat when she heard they found him in Amegakure, and it felt like hours passed in between each new development. She was statuesque as she stood and waited, but the news about Satoshi doubled her over. She was silent, unable to make a sound even as she struggled to suck in a breath. It seemed like her personal mistakes weren't going to stop coming back to bite her and everyone else who walked the earth. She wanted to say something about how Satoshi was still just a kid with illusions of grandeur but he wasn't like that, but all of it tasted sour.
The only thing that kept her anchored was the way Kenshin visibly tensed. She could sense his anger even with her sage mode dormant, and she could count on his righteous sense of justice to fix all of it. He could fix her mistake like he fixed the Storm village because it was his job to make all the right decisions and clean up everyone else's messes. She needed to rely on him, because she had no one else, but what he said when everyone gathered around was not what she'd expected. "Another day? He just cut some general's head off and we're meant to... What could we possibly gain, here? That he's going to fight Jashin with us? He's been believing in some Gods-sent prophecy since he was young."
She shook her head and laughed, but it was humorless. "The kid's been insatiable since he left - since before he left, really, - and he's just going to play nice on 'neutral' ground and not claim more power or kill in the name of his delusions again?" She hadn't expected him to put justice on hold when the results of doing such a thing were so deeply uncertain.

"There will come a time when we break down Amegakure's door and liberate those poor people from this madman. I recognize that my delay in justice's deliverance may cost the lives of the people who live in the Rain Country. I accept responsibility for this decision." Kenshin was clear-headed and stoic in this action. It seemed to be an impossible choice for him. Either he stays the hand of justice against Satoshi or he expends resources on Amegakure when he must focus on preventing the annihilation of all life. Kenshin's heavy eyes that had seen too much tensed on Kameyo. "But have you accepted responsibility for what Satoshi became?" He swiftly turned the tables on Kameyo as he looked down on her from the exalted position of the sky throne. "You are blameless for taking Satoshi in. In your mind, he was a regular child. From what I understand, it was all Toso's doing. However, are you so guiltless for what he grew to be? Was there nothing that you could've done? You're a righteous woman now, yes, but there were days when you were no beacon of morality. I'm not accusing you, yet I hope you meditate on these thoughts." Kenshin was putting his detective training to use as he spoke to Kameyo. He was uncertain if she was in denial over all of this and he needed her to be clear of mind for what lied ahead. "If I throw thousands of soldiers to reclaim Amegakure then that's time, lives, and resources spent that we can't afford. I need this Kage Summit to happen so that I can get to Saiken and Son Goku before Jashin does. Satoshi is the key to both." Kenshin sighed as he explained his reasoning for this decision, grave as it was. "I didn't want to choose this. My stomach is churning just thinking about facing Satoshi and Toso. Yet it was my wife who advised me to see reason. What a remarkable influence that a wife can have. Wouldn't you agree?" The Hyuga patriarch noted with a tone that was serious but slightly indicative that he was referring again to Kameyo's role in her own family dynamic. He stood from his throne and walked toward the room where he suspected that the summit would be held. The room was filled by a circular table as he ordered guards to decorate the room with banners and make preparations. He would speak and Kameyo could follow him if she so chose. "Satoshi is a maniacal crow sage who's chasing prophecy, correct? Whatever he is, he's still a sage. Sages and summons despise Jashin because he corrupts natural energy. Would he be sympathetic to such an argument?" Kenshin would now rely on Kameyo's advice again. She knew this wildcard far better than him.

Getsuruito must be in its rapier form to use this ability and 5 chakra can be spent upon activation of this technique to transform it as such. The Righteous Sword of the Sentinel technique has a 10 post duration before necessitating re-activation and costs an E-Rank amount of chakra. The initial activation of this technique consumes an action but all subsidiary abilities of the technique do not.
Smiting Blade of the Night Watch [ Naitō Otchi no Sumittinguburēdo ] | Rank X | Bukijutsu [ Lightning ] | Spiritual When this technique is activated it crackles violently with night blue lightning for the entire duration. The electricity from the blade also forms bolts of lightning over the body of the user and appears to supercharge them. Whenever the blade is swung or thrust over the duration the user can fire a concentrated blast of ten bolts of lightning to accompany the strike equal to the rank applied but for only half the cost to initiate the technique. Hatake, Raiu, and Sage enhanced lightning can pass through the blade and apply to these lightning bolts. The bolts cause a thunderously deafening sonic boom and can inflict tier 2 burns upon direct contact with the lightning. Additionally, these lightning bolts can be freely applied to all complex bukijutsu for no action cost to smite enemies. The only action cost is when the technique is activated and all subsidiary abilities of the technique do not consume actions and only chakra. This ability can be used in both forms of Getsuruito.
Draconic Sabre of Moon Sundering [ Getsu Sandaringu no Dorakonikku Seibā ] | Rank X | Bukijutsu [ Lightning ] | Complex This is the original ability of the ancient Getsuruito blade and thus requires the original katana form. 5 chakra can be spent to transform the blade to its original form upon activation of this technique. Crackling and thunderous dark blue lightning can be applied to the katana's edge at any rank and the same lightning can form a dragon head formed from electricity over the body of the user for 10 posts. This allows all spiritual techniques the sword comes into contact with to be slashed through and even cut in half at the same rank despite the complex nature of the technique. For half of the original cost to activate the technique a same-rank spiritual electrical energy slash can be sent out from the slash of the blade. This same cost can be applied to any complex bukijutsu to achieve the same effect. The original 10 post activation of this ability consumes an action but all subsidiary abilities do not.

The imposing new jinchuriki bellowed as she finally managed to ward off the Pale Citadel's guards incessant checks and procedures long enough to get inside. While Cadence was busy leaning into her oversized personality, Coda was marveling at how good she felt. She knew what it was like to feel real power course through her veins, and she knew the toll that normally took, but even after a march halfway across the Land of Floods, she fell fantastic. Hell, every step she took was like she'd popped a soldier pill. When she'd used O'Inari's mark too much, it felt like the worst workout she could imagine. Like she'd benched her bodyweight with every muscle she had and grown a few new ones that existed just to cause pain. The farther she got away from the battlefield, the more it felt like she was ready to step back on it. Coda would still gladly take a blade to Kenshin and the medic woman, and was more than aware of the type of target that had just been painted on her back, but this? She could get use to this... this, feeling of limitlessness.

[ Kaiser Fist Training ] The armor now emits a crackling, bright, white hot chakra that appears like a thin aura around the user. The chakra causes mild burns on contact. In addition, the user gains a [1] point increase to strength and speed per rank of the armor. ------- Kaiser Armor allows the user to regenerate 10 stamina per rank of chakra applied to each technique while the armor is active. The user may not generate more stamina than their reserves may hold. ------- The Kaiser Armor now causes searing burns upon contact that blister due to the crackling chakra. The user's strength and speed are increased by [1] point per rank of the armor. Taijutsu and bukijutsu techniques used while the armor is active create shock waves [5] feet in the direction of the attack per rank of the technique.
[ Mirror Image Arts Training ] The user may cast the Shadow Clone technique in conjunction with techniques from this style to replace mirror images with the clones. Casting Shadow Clones in this manner does not consume an activation. ------- The user has learned to control their chakra in a fine manner which allows them to create an additional mirror image per rank of the technique it is executed with. These additional images do not increase the strength of the parent technique.

This wasn't entirely a happy excursion of one Emperor and his wife. “I know I’ve probably said this at least once before but I am quite impressed with how it all came together.” Shiro comments aloud, smirking as he takes in the grandeur of the Pale Citadel after the precession announced their arrival to Kenshin’s guards.“Quite impressed.” Was it just five years ago that he and Kenshin sown the seeds amidst discussion that flourished into the monumental fortress? The conversation in the Storm Palace’s library still felt like yesterday’s happenings. When Shiro discussed legitimizing Kenshin behind closed doors he was in fine form. Sporting a look unyielding from the era of war that his passions fueled for the sake of peace. The Shiro of today was somewhat of a changed man. He fully acknowledges his ways of the past were less than favorable to some and opts to present his sentiments of change for the better with an outlook exterior reflecting someone more true to the man who was hiding behind hair dye and colored eye contacts: a tenseigan fully flaunting his b*****d status of a Hyuga, and a head full of silken, white hair. The worn coat was traded for a sleek, black waistcoat and a brimmed hat embellished with gold trim and the emblem of his Empire. A look rather fit for a militant ruler. A poetic gesture to the learned with a red crowned crane feather erected in his hat as a symbolic centerpiece.
The emperor exits the carriage first on his own merit. A katana clacking at his hip. With a flick of his wrist Shiro calls upon a pair of guards to serve as extra hands before he turns right around and climbs back up into the carriage. The process of extracting one Unki was careful and slow. Her previously pink chair was reupholstered into a purple. The disguised wheelchair met the ground first. One Unki was plucked and carried cautiously stable ground. Unlike her militant husband, Unki was swathed in trailing folds of pinks, whites, and reds that effectively hid her braces. The most of her hair was rolled to her liking and topped with one lustrous emblem to match Shiro's hat among a few shiny trinkets stuck into her hair.
With the hideous crow fiasco behind her, Unki was antsy with longing to stand on her own again to the point where she was insisting on standing to greet Kenshin. Walking wasn't extensively a huge luxury at this point in her recovery.
Any news of her injuries were hardly mentioned with the Pale Citadel. A quiet recovery was honestly preferred on Unki's part and she wasn't going to needlessly weigh Kenshin with previous details. Moreover, since gossip usually has its way, fewer anxious buzzings about her health from the countryside would have been great. Although, in light of the Crow incident, what point was there now hoping for peace if a psychopathic murderer in another country probably had a glimpse.
