[WAR: 8/3/20] Rob Van Dam vs. Abyss

[The Hardcore Legend]

After a rough weekend for Rob Van Dam, with losing the CWF Championship to AJ Styles, now Triple H has placed the former champion in a match against the Monster, and TV Champion, Abyss, who is as unstable and dangerous as ever, will RVD be able to get back to his winning ways and get back into the title hunt or will he suffer a beating from the Monster?

 

[THE M0NSTER ABYSS]

The lights dim dark red and the sound of carnival music switching to heavy metal plays in the arena, and the crowd begins to boo mostly for the monster about to make his entrance. Abyss walks out, with his signature hood with a brownish vest over top of it. He stops at the top of the ramp, spreading his arms. A pyro goes off, scaring the crowd. Abyss starts walking down the ramp, with an intense and intimidating look on his face, being introduced.

Announcer: " Introducing at this time, standing 6'8... weighing in at 350 pounds, THE MONSTER, ABYSSSSSS!"



Abyss then pushes a cameraman's camera out of his way, and then walks past some of the fans at ringside, including kids who are frightened of the Monster, and walks up the steps and enters the ring. He walks to the opposite side of the ring and does his signature spread of the arms taunt, and starts pacing around the ring, keeping his hoodie and vest on for the moment. The lights go back to normal, his theme slowly fades, and the MONSTER stands in the ring, looking around at the fans, whipping his hair back. He proceeds to take his vest and hoodie off, throwing them to the outside.

ROB VAN DAM!

THE WHOLE EFFIN SHOW!

The audience cheers when they hear the familiar beginning of Rob Van Dams theme, and shortly after, RVD walks out in his signature wrestling gear, walking out to the top of the entrance ramp stopping and looking at the audience before doing his signature Rob Van Dam taunt.



Announcer: "The following contest is scheduled for one fall! Introducing first, from Battle Creek, Michigan, weighing in at 235 pounds, ROB...VAN....DAM!"



The audience loudly cheers the fan favorite as Rob Van Dam makes his way down the ramp and high fives alot of the fans in the front row as he got closer to the ring. He reached the ring, trotting up the steps and enters the ring. Rob walks to the opposite ropes of where he entered and again does his RVD taunt, and begins pacing around and starts practicing punches and kicks and stretches on the ropes to keep himself warmed up while he waits for his opponent. His theme music fades out and he along with the audience waits for what is next.

 

[THE M0NSTER ABYSS]

Abyss watches Rob make his entrance, angered by alot of things, with AJ Styles getting attacked and ambushed by Sting, and the fact that RVD won the only encounter between these two. Abyss looks to change that tonight as he waits for the bell.

RVD would make his entrance, and after doing some stretches and kicks, he hears the bell ring, and fastly approaches Abyss and begins circling him!  

[THE M0NSTER ABYSS]

Abyss hears the bell ring and sees Rob approach him and start circling fast, and Abyss tries to keep up and catch him with a monstrous right hand!

Rob ducks the right hand and starts going for repeated kicks to Abyss' legs!  

[THE M0NSTER ABYSS]

Abyss was kicked repeatedly on the legs and he yells as he tries to defend himself.

RVD then grabs Abyss by the arm and attempts to Irish whip the monster to the ropes!  

[THE M0NSTER ABYSS]

Abyss would easily swing around and send Rob to the ropes instead, bending down after doing so, thinking back body drop when RVD returned.

Rob would run to the ropes, hitting them and noticing Abyss bending down and he attempts to leap and roll over Abyss back and land on his feet behind him!  

[THE M0NSTER ABYSS]

Abyss felt RVD leap over him when he hit his back and he turns around quickly.

RVD goes for a spin kick to Abyss midsection!  

[THE M0NSTER ABYSS]

Abyss was kicked in the midsection in quick fashion and he doubles over.

RVD then grabs the ropes, looking to quickly leap onto the middle rope and jump off with a quick springboard crossbody to Abyss!
