It was morning in the Crystal Forest, and at the base of the Broken Mountain Ealhdun was just starting to rise. He began with a yawn, followed by getting to his feet. He stretched out his body before extending his wings, stretching those out as well. Then, he looked around. What now?

Ealhdun was on a quest, of sorts. The young Peryton, only recently full-grown, wanted to learn everything there was to know about Irithyll. Thus, he had been camping out in the Crystal Forest, studying some of the unique plant life that made it their home. He hadn't had much interactions with other actual creatures of Irithyll, but he was sure it would happen for him soon. Indeed, Ealhdun was eager to meet others - it was the best way to spread knowledge, of course, and attain that which he could not otherwise. Such as the wisdom of an Ethereal, or an Elder, might surpass what he himself could strive for. He had his limits, and he knew that.

Standing amidst a bed of plants, of brilliant orange and yellow flowers, he sort of looked about as he did every morning, just wondering where in the world to begin.
