This veterinary hospital began life as a small farm back in the 1300's. Bought and sold numerous times, it came into the possession of Oliver Davenport through a purchase when the muggle veterinarian was looking for a good site for his practice. After the purchase, Oliver converted the majority of the land into a haven for injured and ill animals. However, since Oliver's death, his son, Brandon, took up working on the farm after graduating from Hogwarts. Determined to follow in his father's footsteps, Brandon converted parts of the farm so that magical creatures could come and stay while they recovered. While the old buildings are long gone, the new buildings consist of a barn, which is the site of the actual hospital itself, and a farm house.
Brandon in particular specializes as a veterinarian for magical creatures, though he does work on muggle animals as well. Several glamours hide the magical portion of the practice from muggle visitors, and as such, provide privacy and secrecy from the rest of the muggle population. While he does have posted hours for his hospital to be open, Brandon does accept patients after hours in emergencies.
