「PERSONALITY」
Stalkid is a paranoid wolf entirely created by the cruelty and expectations put on him by his birth family and pack. He is, in his own views and opinion, disposable and unwanted. He truly hates himself, and yet he's entirely conflicted on whether he should be alive or dead in case there's consequences for either.
Unfortunately, Stalkid was born into a pack with horrid traditions. His strange eyes were cause for alarm and thus in return he was deemed an omen. Like any with his eye color, he was sentenced to be sacrificed. This led to Stalkid lacking any self-worth, and in return accepting the belief he was an omen. Stalkid, due to this, does believe he'll bring the end of days. He was told without hesitation by many of his pack that he'd bring the apocalypse, and now he believes it with all his heart.
He's afraid of himself and being close to others, but he's lonely at the core. He wants love and wishes to be close to other wolves, but the only way to wiggle into his life is by force (choosing to follow him or ensuring you continuously cross paths). It doesn't help Stalkid suffers for a mental illness that causes him to hear and see things at sporadic times. He's prone to seeing the moon adjust in size and color and hearing the sound of hushed voices or bells, resulting in episodes of panic and delirium.
This fear consumes his life and runs it. He travels in hopes he can someday find an answer. He wears the very mask he was meant to be sacrificed in due to the belief it contains him. Removing the mask will result in panic screaming and a break down, as he truly has been conditioned to believe if he's without it the world is in danger. He ignores his own desires and wishes in favor of hiding from others or punishing himself, while also feeling the pain of doing so. It isn't like he enjoys being alone -- he wants what others have, he just truly doesn't believe he's allowed to.
Stalkid is, behind the fear and paranoia, a caring and sweet wolf who gently loves those around him. He wouldn't hurt a fly, which adds to the trauma of believing he'll hurt all of the world. He believes in not doing to others you wouldn't want done to yourself, and typically Stalkid just wants peace and love. He's also a curious sort, and part of his desire to travel is fueled by the feeling that he wants to see what he can while alive.

「BIOGRAPHY」
█ || Puppy ⋯
Stalk Kid had the unfortunate reality of being born into a pack, which was definitely a cult. Somewhere along the way they began to believe wolves with his eye color (red/orange with dark spots) were children marked to contribute to the apocalypse. These children were sacrificed at a young age, wearing a mask the wolves had found and believed had preventative powers. By the time Stalk Kid was born countless children had been sacrificed.
His birth was meant to be a joyous one. His mother had tried for ages to conceive and eventually was successful with an attempt with a rogue male. Unknown to her, the male carried a gene for segmented hetereochromia eyes, and thus Stalk Kid was born with his. His mother panicked, obviously, and immediately gave the child to the Alpha of the pack. The Alpha kept Stalk Kid in a private den, where he was raised by various caregivers.
The second Stalk Kid could understand others he was told of his fate. He was a marked child and must be sacrificed or else someday he'd cause the end of the world. He was presented the ritual mask once he had grown slightly bigger and he religiously wore it. Stalk Kid did not question his end, instead avoiding the others and quietly counting the days as they passed. A small panic began to lurk in his chest as the days grew closer, although he dutifully did what he could to ignore it. He had to die -- it was only right.
The day came and fear flooded his system. He had his first episode, screaming and crying as the moon warped in shape for him. During the confusion a wolf crashed into the pack, snatching the hysterical pup and scrambling away. When Stalk Kid came back to reality he discovered he had been dragged miles from his home by his own father, who had been watching the pack from afar.
His father tried his best to undo what the pack had done to his son, even going as far as attempting to take the mask off. Stalk Kid fought back each time in despair, souring their relationship slowly. Stalk Kid's father still stood by his son, showing him affection he had never seen before and ensuring Stalk Kid knew he loved him. Stalk Kid did not try and return to his pack, despite fearing his lack of doing so might cause trouble. He came to the conclusion that, as long as he had the mask, it should be fine.
Maybe, for once, Stalk Kid finally made a selfish choice of his own and just wanted more time to explore the world.

█ || Adult ⋯
His father passed away shortly after Stalk Kid became an adult. While unfortunate, his father was fairly old and they both knew his time was coming. Stalk Kid began to explore the world around him, keeping his distance from others where he could. This worked well until... well, it didn't, as another young wolf discovered him and attempted to steal his mask. After a rather eventful struggle that ended with Stalk Kid having yet another episode the attacking wolf immediately backed down, apologizing in a panic.
The wolf was revealed to be False Prophet; a wolf also set on exploring the world for adventure and treasure. He felt terribly for the trauma and instead decided to stick close to Stalk Kid's side to make up for the ordeal, and potentially help the helpless boy. Disliking Stalk Kid's name, he began to call the boy "Stalkid", and Stalk Kid accepted the new name readily. It was comforting to be given a name by someone who actually liked you.
So Stalkid and False Prophet began to travel together.
