- Kelani is a realist and believes that once fate has handed you your sentence than she will deal with it accordingly. She is very adaptable to what life brings her. She is as well a competent person. She is capable of doing what needs to be done in the time it is presented. She does live in the present. Kelani doesn't worry about tomorrow or yesterday. She stays focused on what the day will bring her. Taking it one day at a time and enjoying what that day is bringing her. She is a sweet and kind female. She would never wrong anyone.
Some would say she is easy-going. Which she is a laid back person as long as you don't mess with her. The laid-back part of her personality is due to her way of living and how she views everything. But don't get her wrong. If you were to cross her and what she believes in then her violent side will make an appearance. She does enjoy a good fight but only when it is necessary. She doesn't enjoy causing unnecessary violence unless it is truly needed. As for her beliefs. She has a clear standard on how she does things. A routine if you must call it something. It is mainly a morning routine but if her routine is disturbed she doesn't bode well the rest of the day.
Kelani is devoted to her small tribe and will do anything for them but she can come off as inconsiderate and thoughtless. Especially when her mind is somewhere else at the time. She will do anything for the tribe. She will even give her own life for them. Her heart is always in the right place. She just hides behind a tough exterior.

- ↳ All Kelani knew was the burning heat of a desert. How the cold never hit her or her tribe. She was born into a small poor tribe. Her parents were educated but they had settled with a simple life of the tribe. Kelani had gotten simple knowledge of her education which was mainly her reading and writing. She hadn't even received her raiment yet. Even with her parents teaching her she still couldn't read properly. But her parents were also trying to teach the other children in the tribe. So Kelani didn't get special attention.
By the time she was twelve her parents away from an illness. With there being no medical people in the tribe her parents had no way of fighting what they had. Kelani would spend her days at the gravesite where they were laid to rest. She gave up on learning how to read and write. By this time she had gained her raiment as she was a late bloomer according to the lady who was watching over her now. For the sake of it we will call her grandma because to Kelani she was a grandma. She was the woman who helped her mother give birth so many years ago. They had figured it out when Lani touched something very old and very sentimental to the elderly lady.
Images had flashed through the small girls head, which at the time it had scared Kelani more than anything. She had spent the rest of the day in her room crying. She remembered the girl's mother was a Celebrar as well. But Lani was never told about it as they wanted her to live a normal life if she didn't receive a raiment. But the thing was Grandma is also a Celebrar. She helped Kelani the best she could from there on. Kelani as a slow learner had struggled for eight years to get the hang of it. She had gotten some knowledge of what she was capable of doing with it but she still wasn't a professional at her own raiment.
At the age of twenty-three, she had heard from a traveling merchant of an academy that had recently opened up. Kelani had spent her whole life in the tribe and devoted her whole life to trying to find a way to make things better for her people. She then went to her Grandma and mentioned that she wanted to attend the school. Her grandmother had questioned it. More like she wanted to know Lani's intentions for wanting to go to school. Lani had goals in her head. She had wanted to learn to help make her tribe a better place for those who live there. She also wanted to get her raiment under further control.
She did say that a small goal of hers was to find a man who will care for her like her mother but she wasn't holding her breath for that one as her bigger goals had more priority. She cared for her village a lot. Her grandmother had accepted the goals Lani had put forth. She gave the girl some heirlooms that would fetch a good price. She told the female to go and sell them. Once she has money to go to the school and apply. Lani did just that. She made her way to the academy in Eoana. By the time she had arrived, she was now twenty-four. She had gone to the school and filed an application.
