Tezumari appeared at an empty training area within the academy, flipping through a deck of playing cards. Picking one, they looked at it before grimacing and shuffling the card back in. Sliding the deck back into its case, she seemingly placed it into their left pocket. "Shocking development, boys and girls," Tezumari muttered to themself. Slowly they brought their hands up palm forwards, turned them inward and then seemingly roughly grabbed one side of their body and tore away. Their hands splayed out as if showing off the copy that appeared next to them. Copy? There stood an exact replica of Tezumari. Tezumari continued motioning with their hands and tore away in the opposite direction than they had done before, and as her clone looked back up, there stood yet another copy of Tezumari. Both copies stared at each other and then sighed upon seeing the grin on the originals face as they tossed two kunai in between the clones. "Misdirection is a key principle of Magic." Suddenly the two Kunai veered from their parallel trajectory and made ninety-degree turns, embedding themselves into the clone's foreheads. As the blades began to fall, They seemed to be yanked back to Tezumari, who caught them and tossed them up in the air.
Tezumari watched as the kunai arced, before gravity took hold and brought them down to earth. Stepping into their path, Tezumari retrieved a third Kunai from somewhere and seemed to caress just above the blade, pulling back just before touching it. Swinging the blade upwards, a gust of wind seemed to catch the Kunai mid air and knock them off to either side. Opening their fingers wide, Tezumari brought hand over hand, palms to the face, before spreading them wide. "Tada!" they shouted, as a brilliant, strobing, light seemed to burst from their body. Pouting slightly as no one saw their amazing performance, Tezumari gestured upwards with their index and middle fingers at the kunai on either side. They rose up into the air, and were promptly plucked by Tezumari's dexterous fingers.
Creating a Raiton clone, Tezumari sent it off a little ways away. Tezumari cooed, "Aww. It listened. How sweet." shaking their hands rapidly, as if mimicking the fluttering of wings, Tezumari released a burst of chakra as a somewhat loud humming sound seemed to generate from ten hummingbirds formed of lightning. "Fly, birdies, fly!" As the ten hummingbirds zoomed towards the clone, Tezumari brought to fists before their face, eyes on the clone. waiting until the birds were close to hit the clone. Just as the clone appeared doomed, it was doomed by other means as Tezumari spread their hands open in an explosion. "Boom!" The Raiton clone exploded in a burst of electricity countering the other Raiton. As the Lightning discharges seemed to be about done, Tezumari pulled a hand back to their side and wound up like they were about to pitch a fast ball. Air seemed to pull back towards the hand before they let it go and a small orb of wind seemed to fly forward in the midst. A second explosion seemed to join the first. As the explosions cleared, Tezumari grew bored and wandered off in search of something more interesting.

Hailee would smile upon the girls introduction, what a pretty and unique name she had. It wasn't a name she thought she had even heard before. "It's nice to meetcha Soon-ae!" She spoke enthusiastically as Toso introduced her name, but laughed when the girl spoke of being a bad influence. She certainly seemed like a lot of fun, this was gonna likely be more enjoyable than she was thinking! "I understand that, I just don't like excising to the point you're exhausted and sweaty." She shrugged, neither of those were very enjoyable for her at all. Hailee merely smirked in amusement when the girl pointed out her being pretty but needing to keep that beauty in tact with excising. "Are you trying to motivate me to do it? Aw snap, fine I'll exercise, I don't want to look like a garbage bag." She shivered at the very thought, looking like a bag flowing in the wind, uhh no. "You're very pretty yourself too!" She spoke truthfully, complimenting her as well. She was glad to hear they could become great friends! She certainly wasn't looking for enemies, maybe they could become friendly rivals!
Toso had pointed out he was a Hojo, something she had rather not seen coming. She was thinking others..but not that one. It was quite, unexpected. She had overheard some..quite special things from that lineage, but it didn't seem any of that was true for him. Toso made that clear enough when pointing out to ignore anything said, she could understand that. Clans do things that others may not like, and than other clan members end up getting caught in there acts because people assume they're no different. "No worries, I won't assume nothing" Hailee pointed out, watching as this excersicy session was starting. She couldn't help but wonder what it was they'd be doing. She listened, taking in all that was said. So he wanted them to train some moves on him? That could be funner than running. He sure didn't seem like they had what it took to actually hit his form, based on his mocking words. Psh, no one doubts the great and powerful Hailee! He would just have to eat those words. Certainly, Soon-ae looked strong as well! This should be a piece of cake. Time to try out some C-rank stuff, since she had the others down, it would be great practice with a moving and defending target! Hailee quickly picked up the scroll and read it over, before chucking it behind her and preparing herself through breathing, Amorette sitting on her head also ready. Soon enough, the small fox took the form of Hailee, standing awkwardly next to her. She had her hands facing one side down, so it was easy to tell the difference between the two. Hailee charged from one side towards one of Toso's clones, she would spin for a few seconds before stopping and falling flat on her face. She had lost her concentration..that was..embarrasing. Popping back up, she tried again, spinning like a forward tornado while Amorette chose a different angle, aiming to strike from both sides of the clone.
• C - Rank • Gatsuuga is a supreme Taijutsu technique of the Juujin Bunshin style of combat. After the familiar transforms into a copy of the clan member, both the familiar and ninja will begin a spinning attack. The preferred time to attack is when their opponent is showing an opening. Using this chance the fast rotating of the two attackers will cause a damaging impact on their opponent when they connect with their claws. While using this technique, both attackers are able to rotate and strike from multiple angles.
Laughing at the failed attempt made by Hailee, Soon-ae thought this would be a perfect moment to catch the clone of guard. He surely wouldn’t be expecting a two pronged attack within a two pronged attack. She was readying her sword and was preparing to use a technique when all of sudden she was stricken by another intense pain to her heart. This time it was crippling. She fell to her knees and then the pain was gone. She grabbed her chest. “What is this pain?” Soon-ae knew it was rude to leave especially after they just started, but what could she do? There was obviously something wrong but she couldn’t for the life of her know what. She stood up and jumped off leaving the attacking Hailee and the clone. She felt EXTREMELY bad about leaving but she needed to figure out what was happening. It wasn’t like she was in any real pain. But the aches began to grow and grow, leaving her in a fearful state.

After all it would be unfair, if she struck the clone with the technicality that it was clone and not his actual person. "My and here I was starting to get concerned bloo bloo bloo." He chuckled in his own unique manner though his face never changing from its always stale expression as he looked down for the moment at Hailee. But something could be said for the girls enthusiasm she was back up and roaring to go once more. Although this time it looked like if he stayed idle like his clone did there'd be an unfortunate circumstance. Toso's cheeks inflated, his tentacles moved in an erratic matter. Little did Hailee know but this was how the man performed hand signs. He would then spit towards the ground as the shape of a clam shell enclosed on him. Certainly this would be enough. Or so he thought, Hailee's Gatsūga alone would have been more than enough, but what Toso had failed to factor in was the strength between an Inuzuka and a her pet. Indeed their was a natural Korabo between the two of them and what would otherwise be an attack that was C-rank nature would instead be treated as B-rank. ((From Inuzuka:All techniques involving the partner are considered 'collaborative' by default, raising their abilities by 1 rank higher than listed.))

Perhaps it was a mind trick with her failure earlier...was she really that brilliant though? Genuine concern manifested itself internally. There was no time to re-collect on the situation. Hailee and Amorette's Gatsuuga would break through Toso's two shells as the iron like ink it was made of scattered into droplets, he didn't have much of a choice here. Having cornered himself his one tentacle would flail and he would Shunsin a choice ten feet or so away as the duo likely would have left a small crater where he once stood. He'd exhale as the dust kicked up. He wondered if she pulled that off without any hitches. Speaking to the cloud. "Ah, I suppose a friendly reminder to myself to be more careful. Bloop. That was certainly commendable Hail-nee. Though head on attacks against what is to be believed a stronger opponent may not always be the brightest idea. bloop. Perhaps consider some stratagem utilizing your numbers to your advantage...Speaking of I should watch out for..."
tabAs the dust was clearing Toso would look to where Soon-ae was. An invisible outline of where she once stood blinked in his mind three times. Did she? Somewhat shocked by this and also lowering his guard somewhat he'd speak to the almost cleared dust cloud showing Hailee's silhouette. "Ah, hmm, it seems Soon-ae had some errands of some sort...this is somewhat discerning. Do you still wish to continue?..." Hopefully she wasn't riding too high on the fact she'd almost hit him on her first attempt, that he'd get an answer.

Diana walked through the entry of the Academy; though she had been here before... there was a particular excitement that ran through her. She had studied Eisejutsu extensively, now it was time to dabble in elemental and non-elemental ninjutsu. She strolled through the labyrinth of battered dummies and Genin training before she reached a wall of Jutsu. She looked through the various scrolls; she remembered with it was like for her when she was here. She wanted to learn everything that she could and with her newest knowledge... she could. She carefully looked them over, she wanted to hand select her Jutsu to make sure that she was effective at utilizing these techniques. Though she was intent of using some elemental Jutsu, there was a non-elemental jutsu that caught her eye. She grabbed that one and one other, walking to a small training room. She sat down on the floor and unrolled the first scroll. The first technique utilized the movement of her own chakra to pull out another’s. The movement was similar, taking theirs would enhance her own. She stood above the scroll and practiced the handsigns until she knew that she would have them down.
She then placed her palms together and wove the handsigns, she held her palm of her right hand forward and it glowed with a small faint light. She felt as if there was a strange vacuum coming from her palm. She knew that the jutsu was active and thats exactly what she wanted to achieve.

While the jutsu was active, she thought about the amount of chakra that she would like to extract from her opponent. She knew that it would do her no good to just extract a faint amount, she wanted to use this jutsu to tire out her opponent. She pushed more chakra into her palm and used a few practice thrusts to force the chakra in her arm to her palm. Her chakra was more then apparent now and the vacuum like pull was stronger. She imagined her chakra pulling a rope to strengthen its grasp of the foreign chakra. She knew that this was be debilitating for someone to encounter.

Diana loved this personal empowerment that she was feeling with each jutsu that she learned. The feeling started with the offensive Eisejutsu and moved onto now, her excitement for each one grew. She rerolled the scroll she learned the absorption jutsu from neatly and placed it off to the side, she was going to learn this next jutsu and then place them both back exactly where she found them on the wall. She opened the next one and knew that this was a jutsu that she was going to love. She had learned a medical version of this same thing ’ How different can they really be? ‘ she thought to herself. They were both jutsu that were going to carry her in a direction and distance that she desired. She got down to the ground like a runner in starting blocks and held the release handsign. She thought about what she would use as a medium and thought that a wisp or thin cloud would be best. This might be her entrance into battle or even just to take her one place to another. She sent a burst of chakra into the release handsign and she vanished only to reappear on the wall of the room. She quickly utilized the ‘Wall Walking Technique’ that she learned as an academy student to prevent herself from falling flat on her face. She climbed down the wall and smiled. She was going to be faster and stronger then when she started and this excited her.

She walked over to the scroll and rolled it up nicely like the other that she took. She was happy that she and more then willing to take another two jutsu from the wall. She walked back over to the wall and placed the scrolls back into the wall, she started to look over the massive wall again. She prided herself in handpicking the jutsu that she wanted to learn, she just didn’t want to go over a list... she wanted to pick the ones that would be personally beneficial to her.

As Toso created a clam like dome intended on shielding attacks, Hailee tried her best to break through it's defenses, although the impact of it seemed quite difficult to crack. What sort of clam was he using? Probably not chowder. The more strength the girl and her pet added into there attack pattern, the more visibly seen cracks began to arrise from the shells outer core. Through some hard efforts, Toso's shell cracked, leaving him scrambling out of the way. After he left his spot, Hailee could spot the crater left behind, jesus how much effort did she and Amorette put into that attack? This basically made her feel totally pumped to see how the rest of this could go, as Toso praised her for her powerful attack, but than continued to advise her against using such a strategy against an even more powerful enemy. "Well hey, you know what they say. Always go out with the biggest bang! If it's not big, it'll be like you didn't go off at all. I don't really do strategies anyways, I just wing it." Hailee shrugged, planning ahead wasn't really her thing, as opposed to just flowing with the moment. During the little practice, she had completely forgotten about Soon-ae which Toso quickly pointed out, trying to pinpoint her direction in case she were waiting to take her moment to strike. It was fairly quiet, though through all of the hazy fog, it appeared she had taken her leave sometime in the training. That was..quite peculiar, and pretty disappointing. She wondered why she left so soon, without so much as a word. Toso's question broke through her silence, answering with excitement. "Heck yeah I wanna keep going!" Hailee fist pumped into the air, creating a dramatic pose. "I got more where that came from!" She spoke super proudly of herself, her ego was basically flying off the charts.

Judging from the girls expression it seemed she'd yet to know her own strength. Something that could prove both a good and a bad thing. But that's what sessions like the one they were having now were for. "Still. With that being said, I suppose I should turn it up a notch myself." This was after all not only a little exam, and teaching experience, for a student but simultaneously a way for him to sharpen an edge he felt that was growing dull. Not his combat prowess of course, but a growing cynicism that ate at the wanderlust of his youth.

Then like a guardsman he'd firmly plant its five foot long self into the ground before taking shifting it and himself into a low stance.
