Sumiko's at the academy? Maybe I can catch up with her a little later. I wonder how she's doing? Koutetsu was drawn back out of his thoughts upon hearing his admission of leaving. Replying back with a reserved tone "Absurd? No... practical. The duty of a ninja is to protect the village. Missions allow us to leave. The more prepared you are, the more difficult you may handle. You wouldn't use an unfinished weapon at risk of it being ruined versus the strength of a completed work. Its more a safety precaution than slavery." Koutetsu paused for a moment considering how Shinsei's delicate position could be fixed. After a minute of tense silence, he replied slowly to be sure his thoughts were in order, "A single swordsman may break a blade and it usually takes a team of smiths to reforge it. So long as you have not harmed the village, then it will take more than one deed in the village's name to redeem yourself in the eyes of most. Hammer it home."

He supposed it was fair to expect for shinobi to protect the village. After all, they were part of the military, and their power was best used for something that at least... seemed good. It was better than offering people power, only to let them loose into the world. He knew that, yet... perhaps selfishly, he'd always felt like an exception. Like he was better than the laws and constraints before him. Perhaps because of his potential. And as Koutetsu spoke further, he realized that -- in fact -- his potential had a lot to do with it. He explained that shinobi were not allowed to leave because they were not "ready". And that... was what a lot of it boiled down to.

"I... am stronger than any member to have come from my Clan in generations. But being 'prepared' isn't what all of it is about. It's about bureaucracy, and moving up the ladder. I understand why things are the way they are, but I don't always agree with them. However, I will... try to see them the way of the village," he said, hesitantly. A part of him feared succumbing to the laws and virtues of the Shinobi World -- he had always been so averse to them, and it was why he'd left the Academy at such a young age, only to learn and grow independently, and return later.

Right now, though? They needed to move on. He wasn't about to be lectured, though Koutetsu's advice was useful. "Right -- why don't we start the redemption process, then? Stirring the Will of the Vortex, as they like to say, is considered an honorable task in the village. So why don't I teach you? I'm not the boy I was when I left Uzushio last. There's a lot that I can show you," he stated. Koutetsu was a wielder of steel -- a swordsman. Though Shinsei's blade, Kagamishou, was a construct of hardened wood... the style was the same. Basai Bagua, a style of combat that would have fitted with the Genin perfectly.

Shinsei drew his sword. What was merely a pommel pressed into a pocket of his satchel extended outward, revealing a well-crafted, smooth wooden blade. He entered into the Weak Position Stance, settling into a front stance with his weapon held at his hip; the tip of the blade was faced towards Koutetsu. Wooden, blade-like panels of wings sprouted from his back, and his arms and legs were overcome by an armored layer of Mokuton, leading up to his elbows and knees. Habataki Tengu of the Wood Release, and the Basai Bagua Stance, both accompanied him as he faced his intended pupil.

The Senju parted his lips slightly, and exhaled lightly. "I've noticed that all of you remain weak, just like back then. You, Sumiko, Wren, Yoshiro, all the rest. I've surpassed you all. Why don't you show the village your mettle, if your role is really to defend its citizens? Learn from me. I'll make you just... a little bit better." He then flung a scroll to his 'apprentice', with descriptions of each Basai Bagua technique, all the way to the last. He would act as a sparring partner -- and if need be, a dummy.

Koutetsu raised his blade, which had been resting at his side as he cleaned. Koutetsu reserved demeanor seemed to gain an edge to it and his voice seemed to be slightly less forgiving even as he caught the scroll, "Sand, charcoal, heat, Kera, Separate, Heat, Hammer, Fold, and only after finishing do you then Assemble."

Despite his now deeper reservations towards Shinsei, Koutetsu studied the scroll intimately. Once he had finished memorizing it, he tossed the scroll back towards Shinsei and began practicing it. Channeling Chakra into his blade, an aura of water seemed to flow over his blade. Running each technique, stance, and movement over and over to ensure he knew what he felt ready for. He worked from a single handed stance, to a two handed grip. Most would pause to reflect on a rapier with an extended handle, but Koutetsu was fully aware of its advantages. Once he had the stances down, he quickly moved onto footwork. Every now and then switching between stances to ensure he was able to move each. Now incorporating the blade more offensively, Koutetsu shoved forwards into the air, one hand supporting the flat of the blade. Bringing the blade back to his side, he made two vertical strikes from either side. Once the blade had reached the top of the arc, he brought it horizontally across, but midway through dropped his weight and drew the blade in a half figure-eight. Leaping up, He brought the blade crashing back down to the ground.

Koutetsu continued to practice solo, hammering the techniques into himself before he would consider use of them on another. He began by walking in a self-curving path, completing half a circle. Side-winding down the middle, he curved back in the opposite direction completing an outline of the Taijitu. Channeling chakra further into the blade, Koutetsu turned the film of water into a vortex swirling about the blade. Batting an invisible attacker to the side, he struck back, bending his body backwards as he struck in a circle around him. Koutetsu brought the blade closer to himself and moved it in multiple directions, the vortex of water seemingly leaving an after image of a translucent watery dome in its wake. Suddenly the dome bulged diagonally in the front as he brought the rapier crashing down from left to right where it had just been heading to the left in a blocking fashion. Leaping into the air, Koutetsu came crashing back down with a thrust, before pulling back and moving around his shadow opponent. As he completed a quarter turn, he spun back towards it hacking it in half with both power and grace.

Having learned all he felt ready for, he approached the senju with his blade held at his side. Koutetsu stopped short of the blade Shinsei held. Koutetsu stared for a moment in silent contemplation. Sighing, he continued his commentary from earlier, "It means, that power, alone, does not equate to strength. You may have become more powerful than many of those you left behind, but that doesn't make you stronger than them by default. If power determined everything, then nothing would exist." Koutetsu withdrew the sword he had created from black steel into his body. Rather than engage Shinsei, he moved around him using his newly learned footwork. Grabbing his Zori from the rack, he placed them on his feet and bowed towards the dojo. Before taking his leave, he shot back, "In every art, whether it be blade and body, or painting a canvas, the teacher is just as much the student. Perhaps, if you listen... You might be a little better."

Rank: D :: Training
Description: The user channels one of their Chakra elements into their rapier for stronger and more interesting attacks. These channeled elements are clearly visible, forming an aura around the rapier's blade. Once this technique is learned, the user can charge and discharge their weapon as easily as breathing. Only one element can be used at a time, and once an element is applied to a weapon, all of the techniques used become complex. What Koutetsu didn't realize... was that Shinsei already knew all of what he spoke, but felt no desire to bolster his own ego. He did not pretend to be a wise man, but he knew himself to be effective, and he'd already understood that every soldier could learn from one of their subordinates. In truth, as Koutetsu practiced Basai Bagua and geared up to 'school' his master, Shinsei observed his footwork, using his movements as a blueprint to improve his own. The Senju practiced with a kunai in tandem with his 'student's training in Basai Bagua, and as one learned, so too did the other. [ Formless Kunai up to S+ Learned ]

But perhaps, blinded by his own ego, or something else... Koutetsu sunk his head into those few, truthful words by Shinsei. Perhaps it was to guard himself from the humiliation of the truth. That was okay, though, to the shinobi. Humans were simply built that way.

As Koutetsu spoke his words, the man simply stared quietly. As he began to leave, Shinsei rebutted with only a few, simple words. "None of that disputes what I said, or even replies to it." And, with a shrug, he returned to his training.

The Senju fought aimlessly; he sparred a partner equally as cunning, namely, himself. In the form of an artificial replication, of course, or a clone. Through his actions, he learned several fundamental techniques of the Mage Knight Style, realizing the style to have considerable potential. After learning the first cursory techniques, he continued onwards to the next set. The shinobi crafted a dense shield of wood, bashing and blocking and performing formations between the shield and his katana-turned-longsword, Kagamishou. He realized the potential collaboration between Kunst des Fechtens and Mage Knight, and decided he would learn the former style next.

After some time of training with the shield, he decided to focus on his form. There were several variances, and similarities, between Kunst des Fechtens and the Mage Knight style. They both relied on fairly foreign fighting techniques to the people of Hi no Kuni and the Whirlpool Country, and they were unlikely to be comparable in form to the more alacrity-based shinobi styles. He wondered where these styles of combat came from, or if they even came from elsewhere, rather than simply a creative mind among a somewhat stagnant martial elite. Practicing his swings in tandem with his shield movements, he mastered several more techniques. Shinsei noticed that, as he advanced in power generally, his ability to acquire new talents and techniques was considerably buffered.

There was certainly no doubt; he was learning considerably quicker. In a very short amount of time - almost no effort displayed - he had mastered a whole style, and had delved deeply into another. Kunst des Fechtens was, with several important principles mastered very quickly, nearly complete in his individual progression. The shinobi realized though that he was not nearly done -- there were two more styles he was interested in. And, he hadn't even fully mastered Kunst. He focused on extending his weapon and fighting with a more 'medium-range' train of thought, as previously he'd wielded a katana and Basai Bagua's short ranged weapon. He had to make larger arm movements in closer quarters, and shorter ones within long range. Altogether, however, the longsword was a happy medium, and he did not mind fighting with one whatsoever.

He moved on further to Hsing-I Pakua and the Great Iron Fist. Both were enchanting, though within Hsing-I Pakua he uncovered some considerably appealing abilities. Firstly, he was able to convert his spiritual energy -- chakra -- into physical vitality, stamina. This ability greatly perplexed him, and as he waded through the abilities and learned them, he placed special attention to this skill in particular. Shinsei also discovered, perhaps within his own body, that his reserves of energy had grown dramatically. Hsing-I Pakua and Kunst des Fechtens, as well as the Iron style he was to learn, both displayed incredible progress in developing a shinobi's physical stamina and energy. They were, in that respect, unlike any other styles. The styles that focused the least on the passive growth of speed seemed much more keen on finding power elsewhere, and he respected each technique as he learned them.

Though he had always considered Mokuton his primary ambition, it was clear to Shinsei that he was becoming quite skilled in Taijutsu and Bukijutsu, and the effects on his body were immense. He was far from the fairly lithe shinobi he'd been upon graduation - now, he was immense, muscular and powerful. His body type was still fairly athletic, rather than the sort of hulking giant that many other Kaiser Fist users aspired to be, but his arms and legs - as well as his thighs and other supplementary muscles - were heavily developed. Shinsei had become both obviously strong, and inwardly impressive. This reflected as he learned techniques, breezing through them; wading through successes and failures like nothing, and smoothing over his errors within instants until failures became completion. Before he knew it, he had mastered three styles, and was nearly to master his final.

It was just the Iron Fist, now. The techniques were focused largely on punching, durability and immense force. This was very much different from most of his styles, though the context was similar to the Kaiser Fist. He had already mastered such concepts with the Lariat and Liger Bomb, and had also utilized armor as an extension of his personal fortitude. This style was, then, natural to him like the others. Before long, he found that he had mastered it all the same as the rest. His stamina was further enhanced afterwards, and he realized that - at least by his own judgment - he was nearly inexhaustible. The thought pleased him, and he wondered how many other shinobi before him had met this apex of their ability. He started to wonder if his destiny was really to follow, after everything he'd learned, all that he had done. If the Kage was the strongest shinobi in the village, Shinsei was meant to lead.

[ Mage Knight, Hsing-I Pakua, King of the Iron Fist, Kunst des Fechtens Mastered ]

With those thoughts bound to his mind, he left the Dojo.

Chie needed more taijutsu under her belt now that she was the Uzukage. She decided to pick up a style which would increase the amount of speed she could move. First she learned from the style how to increase her speed. She then learned how to perform a somersault, which was followed by a powerslide. Finally, she learned how to perform a forward flip and then a backward flip spontaneously, as well as performing a kick in the flip.

Chie next learned how to spin on a pole and not do a stripper routine, but instead deliver a powerful kick. She next learned how to perfect her balance and excel at her speed. Chie next learned how to slide and perform a scissor like kick that she was sure that she would never use in an actual fight. She further learned how to push off of a wall to deliver a powerful kick. Finally, Chie perfected the art of grabbing something and then unleashing a powerful attack.

Chie next practiced how to launch three attacks at once. That seemed very useful. She also learned how to do a handstand style of carousal kick. Chie next picked herself up and launched a spinning barrage of kicks like a god damn tekken character. Furthermore, Chie also launched herself into the air to then deliver a powerful kick upon the ground. Finally, Chie practiced her balance better to enhance her reflexes.

The young Uzukage next learned how to use four attacks at the speed of one. God that seemed useful. Chie next learned how to flip on the side and deliver a powerful kick. Another trick Chie learned was how to launch five attacks at the same time that a normal person could launch one. That seemed incredibly useful. Finally, Chie learned how to propel her chakra out of her body in the form of storm clouds which drained others of their speed. Also Chie took time out of her busy day to excel at bizarre and unorthodox weaponry.

As Chie reached for her scroll, she realized that she lacked the basic powers of summoning. To start, she recalled from the research she did at the academy how to perform the summoning technique. The technique was barbaric since it required her blood to complete. However, Chie also recalled the technique which allowed her to reverse her summon back to the origin of the seal. Chie knew that a contract head had to meet with the head of their summon in order to gain their respect, so Chie recalled how to perform that technique. Finally, the clone of Chie took a breath as she summoned forth an incantation circle and bit her finger until it bled. With the blood fresh Chie forced her hand through the incantation circle and slammed it upon the contract. She then disappeared into a puff of smoke.

All jutsu learned are available to teach.

Passive Effects:
_β˜† Korabo S-ranked
___β—‹ Able to use Korabo up to A-ranked with herself.
_β˜† Electric Resistance Training
___β—‹ Negates harm from own lightning ninjutsu
_β˜† Ninjutsu Alchemy
___β—‹ This technique allows Chie to passively Korabo two jutsu together. The limitations of this are as such. First of all, the technique works passively only up to one rank below Chie's current Korabo level. This means that if Chie's Korabo level is A-ranked then it can only be used at a B-ranked potential, which means that Chie can only Korabo two B-ranked techniques to use the korabo skill at A-ranked. This assures that this benefit does not allow the user to passively perform techniques one rank higher than they can usually. Second of all, this technique only applies when Chie korabo's with herself. If she korabos with an ally or a clone then this benefit is non-applicable. Finally, an additional charge of 10 chakra per rank of the final product technique is required to be paid. So if the user Korabo two B-ranked techniques, (the user must also pay for each individual skill), then the final technique would be an A-ranked skill, and thus would cost 50 more chakra to perform this way. Overall this technique's only purpose is to make Chie more cool by utilizing all of her elements and having them combine into super cool ways like a wizard should.
_β˜† Hidden Mist Vision
___β—‹ Sees clearly during hidden mist technique, or mist in general.
_β˜† Fire Resistance Training
___β—‹ Negates harm from own fire ninjutsu
_β˜† True Belief
___β—‹ The user has meditated and trained long enough in this monk art to understand how important true belief is. By understanding the power of the spirit over the mind, and the mind over the body, the user has increased their stamina by sheer will power alone, as well as increased their toughness and durability. Increases Stamina by +25 for every style mastered.
_β˜† Enlightenment
___β—‹ Meditation and spiritual exploration and understand yields interesting results. Due to the greater understanding of the self, the user is more aware of the connection between their mind, body and spirit, and how to utilize that connection. The user is now slightly more skilled at just about everything. Striking, blocking, moving, absorbing, and taking damage. The user's strength and fortitude is increased heavily.
_β˜† Impact Resistance
___β—‹ The user acclimates to using the cestus in a battle setting by pounding away at a training dummy with the cestus. By analyzing the feedback of different forms of strikes, the user finds a way to minimize any damage they may take from their own strikes. Upon completing this training, the user suffers no recoil damage from techniques from any non-Rigorous Taijutsu or Bukijutsu Style up to either the highest trained rank in this Style or the highest trained rank in the Hard Physical Formless Style, whichever is lower, and does not suffer damage from striking anything harder than their fists.
_β˜† Focal Point
___β—‹ The user meditates through combat, taking time to narrow their focus to their Chakra pathways. In so doing, they become innately aware of when they are being observed in combat, and can pinpoint the locations of anyone below their rank observing them within one meter.
_β˜† Thread Walking
___β—‹ By using Chakra to focus the mind, the user becomes able to balance enough on thin platforms to use Bukijutsu techniques without any penalties. Covers only balancing on solid structures at least one inch wide, not moving or unstable structures. Also allows the user to balance and move on wires during its activation.
_β˜† Advanced Thread Walking
___β—‹ he user is now able to both run and fight while balancing on threads and wires without penalties, though doing these things at the same time is widely regarded as infeasible.
_β˜† Blessed Rain
___β—‹ The user's informed of the incoming costs of what is to come, and as such, must practice their chakra control through controlled bursts from various parts of their body. Their chakra pool is increased by +35.
_β˜† Insight Rain
___β—‹ The user will practice extending themselves into the atmosphere, in a sense. After much dedication, the user develops the ability to sense hostile intent in the immediate area. As to where, however, they cannot be sure.
_β˜† Torrential Blessings
___β—‹ Having completed all that the user may learn, they have but one task left to complete: the user must practice controlling the flow of chakra, and be sure that their control is the finest that it can be. By doing so, they must repeat the exercise performed earlier with Blessed Rain, all the while, they perform technique to the brink of exhaustion. This training receives no reductions. Chakra pool is increased by +65.
_β˜† The Task of the Next Generation
___β—‹ Upon the master of the school of Shigure Souen Ryu, it's the user's responsibility to develop the next generation! The user is granted one [1] custom slot usable only for a personal Shigure Souen technique.

BGM: Focused Training

The sun was high by the time Itsuki and Ryota reached the dojo, and the pair made their way to the training dummies in the field behind the actual structure. After some stretching, the two stood a good distance from the ranged dummy and prepared.

"Alright, Itsuki. Are you ready?" Ryota asked him, arms crossed, smiling wide.

"Sensei.. you haven't told me what we're training yet..." Itsuki replied quietly, clearly annoyed.

"O-oh..." Ryota stuttered with a chuckle, clearly embarrassed. He quickly regained his composure and said, "Today, I'm going to be teaching you some of the basic Uchiha skills!"

"Wait, you're actually going to show me some of the secret clan techniques?" Itsuki asked, stunned. "It's about time." He said with a smile.

"Don't be so cocky. It's not as easy as you think it will be." Ryota said sternly.

"Right..." Itsuki said under his breath. He had been trying to stay humble. He detested being arrogant.

Ryota let his arms fall from being crossed, and pulled up his sleeves. On arm, he had a cuff that went from his wrist, to halfway up his forearm. On each cuff, there was a segment of parchment with a seal written on it. Itsuki could tell it was a type of fuuinjutsu, but it seemed different than all the seals he'd ever seen.

"With these -" Ryota started, as he made a hand seal, and 5 shuriken were summoned out into his hand. "You can store as many ninja tools as you would ever need, for any situation. This is a seal passed down by the Uchiha, known by nobody else."

"That's incredible." Itsuki said, raising his eyebrows and straightening up a bit. He was truly impressed.

"Now, it's your turn. Here." Ryota said as he handed Itsuki a pair of the same cuffs. "Show me what you've got."

Itsuki nodded, and attached the cuffs to his forearms. After making the same hand seal as Ryota, Itsuki summoned a kunai out of the seal.

"Well done. I shouldn't be surprised you got it on the first try." Ryota stated as he nodded. "Now I need to show you the second technique."

Ryota threw his shuriken at the training dummy, but before reaching it's destination, they suddenly changed direction, and came flying back at Itsuki. He had been completely off guard, and barely had the time to jump above them, narrowly dodging a shuriken with his foot.

"Sensei, that was dirty." Itsuki said with a scoff, looking away. He couldn't believe he let himself get caught off guard, least of all by Ryota.

"Sorry!" Ryota said with a laugh. "I couldn't help myself. The strings are made of chakra, but they're incredibly strong. You hide them until you need to change the direction of your weapon suddenly."

Itsuki nodded, and looked towards the dummy. He readied himself, took a deep breath, exhaled, and threw his kunai. He had tried to attach his chakra to his fingertips, in the hope of creating the strings. As the kunai flew, he started to swipe his fingers to the left, and then pulled back. The strings appeared, and the kunai snapped out if the air and came clambering to the ground.

"Good job!" Ryota cheered.

"Thank you sensei." Itsuki said, trying to be humble. He was actually extremely proud to have done it in one try.

"Stop being humble, Itsuki." Ryota said, clapping Itsuki on the back. "You're a prodigy. It's okay to be proud."

Itsuki merely nodded, his teacher's praise was what he held in highest esteem. He didn't care about being talented, he thought of Ryota like a father, even though he was his uncle. He just wanted to do his family proud.

"Alright, are you ready to start some weapon training?" Ryota asked.

"Aye, senei." Itsuki replied.

Itsuki pulled another single kunai out of his seal, and began warming up with it. Flipping it in his hand, spinning it with his index finger. He did a few crouches, and started to rotate his shoulders and neck, loosening up for the real training, which he considered to be bukijutsu.

BGM: Focused Training

After a short break, Ryota and Itsuki began their second bout of training by moving close to a training dummy with cuts and scratches all over it's surface.

"Alright, let's begin with some light training; I want you to start off with different swings." Ryota said, arms crossed.

"Aye, sensei." Itsuki replied solemnly with a nod.

Itsuki spun his kunai around his finger, gripped it, and began practicing. Swinging his knife upward, downward, to the left, and right, trying to increase his speed and precision with each swing. He continued this for a few moments, switching hands as he went, ducking, sliding, and even jumping. He wanted to be as fluid as possible when using his kunai.

"Very good. I'd say you're about all warmed up, let's move on. I'll show you how to do the Back Repel." Ryota said, pulling a kunai from his ninja tool pouch on his leg.

Itsuki nodded, and proceded to step back to give his teacher room. Ryota began, acting as if he parried an attack from the dummy, and followed it by throwing his kunai in the air above the dummy's head. As Itsuki started to track the kunai up, he switched his focus back on his teacher as he started to move. Ryota had begun to spin around the dummy's side, ending up behind it. As he reached his destination, he caught the falling kunai and swung downward, lodging the kunai in the training dummy's back with a thud.

"And that's how it's done." Ryota said as he stood straight up with a smile. "Think you can handle that, slacker?"

"Aye, sensei." Itsuki said lazily. "Now who's being cocky?"

Ryota let out a chuckle, and motioned towards the dummy for Itsuki to try. Itsuki stepped toward the dummy and began to mimic countering an imaginary strike coming at him. As he parried the fake blow, Itsuki threw his kunai above the dummy, and started to spin around the dummy's side to end up behind it. Unlike his mentor, Itsuki jumped into the air. He clutched the falling kunai, let out a swift kick to the side of the dummy's head, then began to drop and plunged the kunai into the training dummy's back.

"Not bad, eh sensei?" Itsuki asked as he stood up, smirking under his mask.

"You've done well, but you didn't have to be so flashy. A shinobi does not have to show off to be great." Ryota said smiling.

"Aye, sensei." Itsuki said, bowing to Ryota.

He knew he was only joking, but Itsuki still didn't want to show off; what he did felt natural. Itsuki was extremely happy to be training with his uncle, even when they had their little back and forth quips. After having a good start, Itsuki was fired up for the rest of their session.

"Alright, keep practicing your knife techniques, I've got to take care of a few things. I expect good news tomorrow! I'll see you later, Itsuki." Ryota said.

"Aye, sensei. Don't get into trouble." Itsuki replied, teasing Ryota.

Ryota laughed, and nodded to Itsuki. He turned on his heel and with one hand in his pocket, the other in the air waving goodbye, he set off from the dojo heading towards the city center. Itsuki knew he wasn't going to take care of "official business", but he didn't mind. Itsuki actually preferred to train alone sometimes; it allowed him to focus more than worrying about whoever was around. "Okay, let's do this." Itsuki thought as he readied his stance. He gripped his kunai, and began. Quick slashes in every direction on the dummy, tossing the kunai between his hands to improve his dexterity, and hopefully confusing to any enemy he had to fight. He continued to work on his speed, slashing faster and faster, trying to switch hands in different ways so as to be more comfortable when using it in the field. "Now, the final touch." Itsuki thought. As he continued his swings, Itsuki swapped his kunai knto his left hand. Instead of continuing with his slashes, however, Itsuki suddenly threw the kunai towards the training dummy, sinking the blade into where the dummy's leg would be. He repeated this process for a while, mixing in swapping hands with his kunai, always ending up throwing the kunai into where the legs of his opponent would be. After a good amount of repetition, Itsuki took a step back from the dummy, sat on the grass, and pulled out the bento box he had prepared for himself. "I think I deserve a break. Mmmm, this smells delicious." Itsuki thought as he opened his lunch. He bowed his head, and began to eat. After a quick meal, he would return to his training.

BGM: Focused Training

Itsuki stood up and brushed off his robes. His lunch had filled him up, and he was ready to resume his training with a full stomach. The short break had given him time to rest his arms, but now he had to get back to the grind. Twirling the kunai around his finger, he tossed it in tge aur, caught it, and threw it quite hard, aiming for the dummy. There was no audible noise, but the kunai flew in a blink of an eye and slammed into the dummy. Itsuki wasn't quite happy with it, so he repeated the process over and over. After a while, one couldn't hear the kunai at all as it streamed through the air towards the dummy. The ground in front of it was littered with kunai, and Itsuki strode toward them. Picking up a few of them, Itsuki decided to have a little fun. He could tell Ryota he had been training his control, though that was a stretch. Itsuki began juggling the kunai, tgrowing them behind his back, under his legs, jumping to catch them and trying to keep them all from hitting the ground. He would even bounce them off of his feet, kicking them back into the air. He was glad nobody was around, he didn't like others to see him fooling around. He wanted to maintain his appearance as a serious shinobi. After a while of juggling and playing with his kunai, Itsuki put them all in his ninja tool pouch, save for one. "Alright, I'll train one last technique, and then I'll head home for the day." Itsuki thought. He had been training hard, and he hoped to impress Ryota with what he had been doing.

BGM: Simpler Times

Itsuki was a bit tired, but he was determined to finish his training for the day. Itsuki was sure Ryota was off somewhere being lazy, but that was why he loved his uncle. They were so much alike, not to mention he was the only family Itsuki had left. Itsuki shook his head. "Now is not the time to dwell on such thoughts. I must finish my training." Itsuki thought, as he slipped his kunai back into his ninja tool pouch. What he needed to focus on training now was pulling out his kunai faster; his training will have been for nothing if he couldn't pull out a weapon in time. Itsuki stepped before the training dummy, and crouched into a stance. He reached into his ninja tool pouch, grabbed a kunai, and as fast as he could, drew it and slashed across the training dummy's "throat", leaving a gash. Itsuki returned his kunai, and began again. And again. And again.

Itsuki had become so focused on training the technique, that he didn't realize that the sun had gotten very low. It wasn't until his final slash did he snap out of it, only because the head of the dummy had been cut clean off and fell to the ground with a dull thud, rolling away slightly. "Great... No I have to pay the dojo for the damage. That's the fifth dummy I've destroyed." Itsuki thought solemnly as he looked down at the head of the dummy. He couldn't help but imagine it as a rival ninja's head, and when he'd have to kill to protect himself. That was as good a sign as any for him to end his session, and he slid his kunai back in his pouch. Itsuki put the dummy's head near the base of the body, and turned to leave. He stared at the sunset as he headed back towards the city, hands behind his head, elbows bowed out to either side. He was rather pleased with himself, and he hoped Eyota would be impressed as well.

Yoshiro was quickly tiring himself out at trying to fit a target like he had done, with their trainer effortlessly dodging and weaving every strike thrown at him. This wasn't the greatest of situations for her friend but she would still cheer him on regardless. Her eyes remained glued to Kairi while she began to try and mimic his movements made to move out of the way of Yoshiro's blows. She hoped it would help him and try and see if there was someway that she could try and figure out a weak point on him.

【Learning: Formless Style [Soft Mental] (E)】

He rose from the ground and charged at Kairi like he had done before but this strike was much different from the rest. It had control and tactic behind it. Emi hoped and prayed that it would find its mark. AFter the punches that the child had thrown at Kairi, it was well earned. Meanwhile, Emiko was just glad for the demonstration, even if it was just a bit goofy on Yoshiro's part.

【Learning: Formless Style [Soft Mental] (E)γ€‘βœ”

The boy was adapting quickly, and he had to give him credit where it was due. But his aggressive pushing was going to cost him. When he rushed forward, Kairi used his left hand to push the blow high and away from his body. While stepping inside of the kids strike. Using his right elbow he lashed out with a hard jab for the kids stomach, aiming to knock the wind out of him. Without stopping he stepped forwards and behind the kid and quickly turned on heel. Regardless of his elbow connecting he unleashed another two quick jabs aimed for the back of the kids head."Hard physical. Strike hard, block what you can, eat what you cant. No grace, no finesse. Chie felt silly in a full suit of armor. She wondered if she would ever use this in a real fight. However, it was important to train under all restriction and limitations. Plus, spending the time in the armor allowed her body to become acclimated to it. In her initial practices she learned how to take a hit and to tackle while wearing armor. She then spent time learning how to block properly and to curve stomp an opponent. Thus far this style has been profitable to learn.

Chie next learned how to grab and throw an opponent. Practicing on a training doll was weird. Chie then learned how to move in the mud. Taht sucked. Chie then swung her arms like a hammer. She then learned how to perform a jumping attack. Finally, Chie learned how to channel chakra into the heel of her foot and kick something.

She was approaching the end, which was right where Chie hoped to be. She first learned how to make chakra spikes all over her body. She then learned how to use chakra to fill the gaps of her armor, thus making her even bulkier. Chie next learned how to bring her limbs in and become an ultimate defense. Chie then learned how to perform all of this with lighter armor. Finally, Chie learned how to stomp the yard and make herself immune to things which armor reasonably should not block. Once she mastered that she finished her training and moved to taijutsu.

The style Chie wished to learn was based initially in Sunagakure. Since she had so many suna ninja, she felt she would respect them by learning their way of combat. Chie first practiced with a technique designed to not face the opponent. She then learned a technique where she crouches down. Chie then learned the Pi of this style. All of this gave her some basic training. Finally, Chie learned a move which did something when she caught an opponent's kick.

Chie next learned how to spin and uppercut. Chie then learned the Qua of the style. This allowed her to be able to endure the harsh temperatures... apparently. This is when she learned how to block an attack which came from above. Finally, Chie mastered the advance training of this style. Now this stuff was easier to perform.

Chie next learned how to catch a punch and break a limb. Chie next learned how to kick someone in the groin. That was fun. Chie next learned how to do Pi and Qua at the same time. Chie next learned how to spin. That seemed useless. Next, Chie learned how to wrap around someone to subdue them. Finally, Chie mastered the final technique required for this stupid style.

Chie found herself needing to take a break after she finished all of her training. It has certainly been one thing after another since she became the Uzukage. As she has been ping-pong bouncing, however, she found herself viewing a familiar red haired girl. "No way..." Chie said. Her eyes widened when she saw a ninja she did not recognize engaged in combat with Yoshiro. Her eyes went wide as she saw the man try to collide his elbow into the boy's stomach. A body flicker was all she needed to appear in between. Open left palm blocked the strike while the other hand pushed Yoshiro away. "I was wondering what happened to this group..." She said sternly. Her eyes glared eyes wild fury at the man. Her gaze snapped, however, when she saw an Uzushiogakure headband on his person. "A villager?" She said in shock. Who was this man? As the former head of the academy, she knew nearly all of the ninjas in this village.

_β˜† [ Rank ]
____β˜…

_β˜† Basic Endurance Training
___β—‹ The user practices holding any stances they know in the most extreme weather of their region, as far from anyone else as is practical. After completing practice, the Stamina costs of X-Rank techniques in this Style are reduced by 5, down to a minimum cost of 5.
_β˜† Extreme Climate Resistance Training
___β—‹ The user spends a great deal of time completely immersed in the most intense weather the region has to offer. Following this training, the user does not suffer from adverse climate effects. Additionally, using one or more of the Pi, Qua, and Quan techniques in any combination increases the user's fortitude slightly for one post, to a max of one [1] descriptive rank per trained level in the Soft Physical Formless Style.
_β˜† Advanced Endurance Training
___β—‹ The user practices holding any stances they know in the most extreme weather of their region, as far from anyone else as is practical. After completing practice, the Stamina costs of techniques in this Style are reduced by half if the practitioner has used the same technique at some point in the last two posts.
_β˜† Pi Qua
___β—‹ By repeating the transition between the Pi and Qua techniques repeatedly, the user becomes able to perform them quickly enough that starting with one and transitioning into the other only consumes one action for the post, and also cannot be interrupted if the first hits.
_β˜† Pi Qua Quan
___β—‹ After learning all other techniques in this Style, the practitioner runs through them all again, stringing them together in the longest combo they can. Following this training, the practitioner finds themselves capable of using all techniques in the Style up to the highest learned rank of the Soft Physical Formless Style for 10 less Stamina, to a minimum of 5 Stamina.
_β˜† Acclimation
___β—‹ The user acclimates to moving in their armor by wearing it during normal daily activities. After completing this training, the user can move in any armor as though it were properly fitted for them personally. This provides one descriptive rank in strength and fortitude to techniques using the armor per stage learned in this Style.
_β˜† Shifting Position
___β—‹ The user practices their art by moving across a shifting surface--such as sand or mud--with their armor. Following the completion of this training, the user becomes significantly harder to topple while armored; all incoming techniques that would move the user are treated as one rank lower in strength when determining of how far the user is moved, and the user can no longer be toppled by techniques lower in rank than their armor.
_β˜† Knight's Blade

Koutetsu arrived at the Dojo, his motivation was at an all time high. Chie-Sensei...no... the Uzukage said she was proud of me! I've got to train hard to improve. Koutetsu formed his b*****d rapier, prepared to work hard to master his Bukijutsu training. Making his way to an unused room, He immediately dug into his training program. Charging his blade with his suiton element, He took aim at a target and visualized his strike: a piercing attack like no other.

Suddenly, he thrusted and the blade pierced clean through the other side. Withdrawing the blade, he thrust repeatedly into the target until it was demolished and he moved onto the next. Koutetsu swung the blade twice and a burst of water briefly covered him as he moved back followed by a heavy mist as he cut down from above. Sudden movement from behind the mist would have drawn attention to the left as Koutetsu charged forward from the right and thrust through yet another target. Withdrawing the blade, he spun and dropped the blade from his hand before kicking it into another target. Weaponless, he evened his breathing and entered a calm state of mind. Koutetsu weaved over to his sword and retrieved it, readying himself for the next series.

Maintaining his serene mind, Koutetsu dipped into his chakra and channeled it throughout his body, releasing it in small bursts. Suddenly, he flipped the blade into a reverse grip. Spinning it around, he created a watery shield of chakra. Switching his grip once more, he struck from above, but midway dropped the blade. catching the rapier in the opposite had and struck upwards diagonally. Always mindful of his surroundings, Koutetsu reached out and determined there were no immediate threats before going back to work. Channeling chakra into his feet, He took off at a sprint towards the opposite side of the room. Moments before he would reach the target at the other end, He added an additional burst of chakra and seemed to nearly disappear as he struck forward. His blade demolishing yet another target.

Reabsorbing his Blade, Koutetsu set to work on his Taijutsu. Jumping up into the air, he came crashing down with a kick, breaking the target. As it shattered, He swung an empty hand in a chopping motion. Channeling his chakra, he used it to carry the sound across the room.

Niko Hatake: A Shinobi of High Caliber?

Mood: Bad A**

When Niko and Hisashi walked into the dojo, They noticed Yui and Aoi. They were running laps around the dojo. They must have been running for a while, because they seemed exhausted. Niko and Hisashi couldn't help but chuckle. "Serves them right." Then, they were greeted by Ryota.

"Niko! Hisashi! I'm glad you made it. As you can see Yui and Aoi have already started, but it seems Itsuki is running late. I'm unsure why, but he should be here shortly." Hisashi barked. "See? I told you!" Niko turned to Hisashi and shushed him. Ryota laughed as he continued. "Hisashi you seem lively today. Well, while we wait, would you like to work on anything?" Niko was very confident in her abilites, though she knew where her weaknessess lied. Out of everything, Niko didn't feel as if she could throw projectiles as accurately as she'd like. "If possible, could we work on projectiles?" Ryota smiled. "Of course!"

They made their way to the training dummies. "Okay Niko, let's see what you've got." Niko looked directly at the training dummy. Then, in one fluid motion, Niko launched a kunai that flung and hit the dummy dead set in the head. Ryota seemed confused. "Impressive, though I'm unsure why you asked to work on this. You seem like you've got this down." Niko shook her head. "My skills are limited to the one throw... if the target is moving or at an angle, it will be difficult for me to hit." "Hmm... I understand. I could show you a few techniques.” Niko nodded as she prepared herself.

The first technique that was shown was on odd one. Ryot was holding a kunai by the blade, but was able to launch it with all the precision of a proper throw. He showed her twice, and then it was on her. She felt dumb holding the kunai that way and was definitely uncomfortable. At first, the throws were all garbage. Then, Niko realized that it was all in the flick of the wrist. Soon, she was able to "throw" the kunai accurately. However, she still felt pretty dumb.

After she had gotten that down, the next technique involved two weapons. It was more of a trick throw than anything. Niko held the two and launched them. Only one of the two hit. She tired again to the same result. Then she tried to switch up the throw a bit. It took some time but she was able to get it down. The technique that followed was with three weapons. She was able to apply the concept from the second technique and managed to the learn the third easily. She threw the kunai and all three of them hit the dummy. Her accuracy was good, but not yet precise. It would take some more time, but she would get it down with practice.

"Feeling more confident yet?" Ryota could see the smile growing on Niko's face. She nodded as she threw another round. These hit as well. "Good. Let's move on."
