It was a beautiful day, though every day seemed beautiful to him. He just had a very optimistic outlook on things and hoped that he'd keep that perspective for the entirety of his life, no matter how long or short it might be.

Certain there would be times in which he would be tested he made a silent promise to himself to be the best him he could and that was all he could really ask of himself.

Giving a big yawn he stood up and looked back at the large imprint he'd left in the snow. He sure did know how to make his mark, laughing at the mental joke he walked on wards.

User ImageAnhunanol floated slowly above the mountains that he called home, overlooking the snowy landscape. He was still getting used to being a god as any memories from a past life were gone, leaving him almost like a cub in an adult's body. So far he had learned about his home, about other gods, and that he could fly despite the fact that he had no wings. He had been experimenting with teleportation and changing his appearance into a smaller, hornless lion so when he did finally venture down to the realm of the mortals he wouldn't be picked out as a god as quickly as he might have been. For now, though, he was content to remain here, getting used to himself and what he could do.

A rather colorful speck among the snow caught his attention and he dipped lower to investigate. Another god, this one just as colorful as some of the others he had met. He remembered Friendship's words that gods generally reflected their domain, and such pastel and bright colors certainly wouldn't be anything bad. Deciding to meet another god to expand his knowledge, Anhunanol circled a few times to lower himself slowly to the snow, trotting upon landing to use up his momentum.

"Hello," he said as he approached the other god, a little smile on his face. "Lovely day, isn't it?"

Motion caused him to glace towards the sky to see another God coming his way. They could fly without wings? Learning something new everyday, so did that mean he didn't HAVE to use his own wings to fly? He'd have to test that thought out later and see what happened, when company was excluded of course.

"Yes, yes it is!" He called out to the male, he looked friendly enough and he started to make a connection to God's and their domains, they seemed to reflect upon their appearance. He realized he'd been staring a little bit, "I wasn't aware we were capable of flight without wings, so I find that new information quite interesting." There was a lightness to his deep voice, he did have to say he found the males coloration quite appealing to the eyes.

While he was straight as an arrow he still found beauty in everything, regardless of it's form. "I quite like your trinket." He motioned to the males chest.

The male's comment made Anhunanol chuckle softly. Another new god, then. He wasn't sure if he was reborn or simply had been brought into existence recently, but either way it was similar to what he had been going through the past few weeks.

"It is a bit strange, isn't it?" he agreed, glancing at his back where no wings sprouted, unlike the lion before him. The comment that followed had him turn to face the other god again, a paw lifting to press against the bleeding heart on his chest.

"Ah, thank you. I like your horns," he said, nodding his head towards them. Opalescent, curled, smooth...a far cry from his own. He had managed to get slightly stuck trying to enter a small cave thanks to his and he was glad no one had been around to see it.

"I'm Anhunanol," he added, not wanting to be rude and not give his name too quickly. "Ah...Selflessness." It seemed common to tack on what his domain was after giving his name, so Anhunanol did just that. He was glad he had experience in meeting other gods before this one.

Strange indeed, it would seem they as Gods had a number of abilities that were unknown to him still, but not unknown. It was like he already knew that part of information but it had been shrouded by a fog in his mind until relearning about it. Then it was as if he had just been reminded after having forgotten after so long or something. "It is, but then again, aren't we strange already?" It wasn't as much a question as it was a statement.

"I wish they did something other than act as an adornment." Chuckling he peered at the male before him and his branch like horns. "I feel as though birds would love to make a nice perch atop them, given they aren't too afraid to land." The though made him smile but he did not laugh, he wasn't trying to tease or make fun of the other God, just pointing out an observation.

"I am the God of Infatuation, but you can call me Limerence or Lim for short." He was quite liking the nickname of Lim lately. Looking about their haven he glanced back towards the pale male, "Have you visited the mortal realm yet? I went once so far, found it a desolate place, though then again the place one of our fellow Gods took me was known for that."

Anhunanol gave a soft laugh at the thought of birds perching on his horns. That would certainly be a sight, wouldn't it? He hadn't come across any up here but perhaps down in the mortal lands, if he ever worked up the courage to venture there, he would find a few friends to carry around.

"Not yet," he said, bobbing his head in greeting as Lim gave his name and domain. "I'm trying to gain enough confidence in my abilities and myself before heading down there. I only just got the hang of flying, my teleportation skills leave a lot to be desired, and I haven't even thought about shapeshifting just yet. I'd rather be ready to do anything and everything I can before heading down there."

He had been warned, after all, that not all mortals were fond of gods. He didn't want to go down there, run into an unfriendly lion, and end up dead. Although gods were long-lived they weren't technically immortal, just their domains. Anhunanol had only just started this incarnation of himself and he didn't want it to end too soon.

Giving a nod of his head he wasn't entirely certain he'd go there on his own just yet. Though he was tempted. "I can understand that, I only went because I was escorted by another God, I'm not sure I'd of gone by myself my first go around." It wasn't that he was afraid of what might happen, it was just more of a, maybe I should really get to know myself better before subjecting innocents to whatever he was capable of.

"I haven't attempted shape shifting either. I'm not even sure what I'd try to become first. Though I'm told Lions are by far the most common form our kind seem to inhabit as." He was really considering something else though, like a wild dog or even one of their companion species.

The thought of shapeshifting made Anhun's stomach roll a bit unpleasantly. Perhaps it was the little bit of him that still thought like a mortal that made that happen, but he was sure he'd become used to it. Flying was a bit scary at first, but now that he understood how to do it (for the most part) he wasn't as worried. He definitely wouldn't be venturing down there until he had full control over himself and his powers.

"That seems like the easiest," he agreed. He himself was quite lion-like already, save for his size and the horns on his head. Perhaps he could practice making himself smaller. That seemed like the easiest task to complete.

"Well, it was lovely to meet you, Limerence. I'm sure we'll see more of each other if we're both up here frequently," he said with a little smile. "I really must return to practicing flying, though." As much as he enjoyed the peacefulness up here, there was something calling him down to the mortal realm. Duty, perhaps, or simple curiosity. Whatever it was he wanted to master himself as quickly as possible so he could see what it was like down there for himself.

They were all pretty much lion-like so it would seem to remove wings, if one had them, minimalism horns or other odd appendages, and shrink was the easiest thing it would appear.

"It was a pleasure to meet you as well Anhun! I wish you luck and if you ever want to do something together I'm usually around the area." He offered to him and gave him a friendly wave of his wings in fair well and turned and walked off.

The wingless god nodded as his new acquaintance spoke and took his leave. He watched him go for a few moments before glancing back up at the sky. After a moment of thought he was airborne again, invisible wings carrying him up to the clouds. A bit more practice and he was sure he'd feel as comfortable doing this as he did walking. Small steps, but steps all the same to heading down to the mortal realm.
