Going to see Thor Ragnarok today. I am hopeful that it is at least as good as I am imagining. I am trying very hard to not get too excited and thus become disappointed by it.

It was a lot more comical than I thought it would be...
Movies cost $17.50, and I don't have cable... so I will wait for Netflix. There is a 5ft poster of it taunting me in my subway station.

I also just noticed that the Gaia gold system has been inflated more than the US dollar in the last couple years! $10,000 for a poll vote! Am I saving for an island in the South Pacific?
OMG, $17.50 is almost twice as much as the ten dollars that I complain about here. But nowadays with 3D, Imax, etc we are asked to pay about $13.50 per movie. I still avoid those and go to regular matinee showings for $5-$8 per show. And finally, the Gaia inflation is much worse than 10K I've seen daily changes over 10 Million and the lake kindred kin selling for billions and worse yet some market place items in the trillions.

Nope, that is $17.50 for adult admission(they wont believe my student ID) and then you wear a bulky coat in with all of the treats you want. Of course, I'm a lonely weirdo in NYC, so I miss most of the movies I want to see because of school or gaming. They had this really awesome release for the new Blade Runner movie right around the corner and apparently I was giving directions to people when I was walking my dog. Good thing(cost $56).
