 The Hibaversary Halloween Monsters' Ball
(A Halloween Event Filled with Fun and Frights!)Happy Halloween, everyone! And welcome to Club Escapade right here in the Paulownia Mall in the heart of Iwatodai! All of you who have been gathered here were invited by our mysterious host to participate in our first ever Halloween Monsters' Ball! A haunting gathering of ghouls and glamorous folk from around the country are being welcomed into this one-night-only celebration of the All Hallow's Eve and our Lady of the Night's birthday!
Now if you are wondering what a Monsters' Ball is, first and foremost, it is exactly what it sounds like! Each of you who enter must be dressed in-costume, and throughout the night music shall be playing to entice you to dance upon the Escapade floor. As you may have noticed, the entire first level is mostly shrouded in a waist-high miasma of devilish purple smoke, but worry not...what are the chances you'll encounter the creatures of the night in a place like this...right?
So come in, celebrate the spookiest night of the year, and enjoy our festivities. Eat, drink, talk, and dance, dance until you di-...ooh! My mistake. Don't want to give away the game too soon, do we?

* You may use as many characters as you like for this event, but each post must have a 'Main' character denoted somewhere.
* The location for all posts is a mysterious 'Monsters' Ball' to which all of your characters have been invited at Club Escapade in Iwatodai. Disregard where you might have been at this time in the RP, as you are able to come regardless. Inside the club are dim, Halloween-themed lights of orange, violet, none too bright. They line the entire club, as cobwebs line the walls. Behind the counter a mysterious old hag appears to be brewing some kind of a 'drink' in a cauldron. On the dance floor, the smoke is at least waist-high so that you can't see your own feet, and it is difficult to see things more than a couple meters away from you. In the VIP lounge above, which is blocked off for now, a pair of glowing eyes watch you...presumably belonging to the mysterious host.
* Once inside, you may not leave the Monsters' Ball until it is finished. (As this event is happening in the past, this will have no effect on the RP and you may continue to post as normal outside of it. But within this event, you are stuck inside Escapade.)
* The only refreshments available within are a drink from the hag behind the counter's cauldron. You are assured they are delicious, but... (if you request a drink in your post, roll 1-20. If you roll a 15 or lower, notify Arena Emperor for further instructions).
* Every post you make on the dance floor, you may roll 1-100. If you roll 1, 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80, 90, or 100, notify Arena Emperor for further instructions.)
* No character can permanently die in this event. ...Not that I need to tell you that, since it's just a ball, right? What's the worst that could happen?
* Please vote in the poll as many times as you can. Do not vote for the same thing twice if you have multiple means of voting.
* Otherwise, post, dance, enjoy yourselves! This event is all in good fun!
* Happy Birthday to the most wonderful Hiba of all! And Happy Halloween to everyone!

What was a party? A miserable pile of secr- wait, no, that was men. A party was a place for people to all be awkward together as they tried to feel like they were part of a bigger, better group. That said, most of the people at her school really didn't know how to party... and even she wanted to have fun every now and then. This was something of a long-distance trip for her, but hey, invitations were invitations and she could use a bit of a break from other activities anyway.
More importantly, who else was here? She wasn't going to go wild with the dancing - that would get awkward quite fast, if history was anything to go by - but she was definitely up for some casual fun.

Shiori Encounters...Grayback the Werewolf!Entering the Dance Floor, the thick layer of violet fog began to obscure Shiori's vision; after a few more steps, the girl suddenly found herself bumping into a figure about the size of a child! But unlike a child, it was...fluffy? Furry? A thick blue and gray mane brushed against her skin and from around the height of her waist, the piercing blue eye of a strange werewolf shimmered ominously as the wolf flexed its clawed hands and growled menacingly (as it could) at her.

Hmm, it was a... kid in a really good fur costume? Japan's cosplay tech could be pretty crazy when you thought about it. At least, that was what she'd heard from the others. She rarely dressed up herself aside from certain, ahem, activities, so she wasn't as familiar with it as she could have been. Still, maybe it was friendly? With a shrug, she tentatively pat its head. "You look good." she said, smiling at him(?).

Shiori Encounters...Grayback the Werewolf!As Shiori reaches out to tentatively pat the werewolf's head, it senses her hesitation...and in that moment of unease, it strikes! Lashing out at her, its jaws snapping at her hand and catching it within! Did she think it wasn't real or something?! Whatever the case, it held onto her hand, but rather than pain she felt...drowsy? Woozy? Her world spun as her eyes began to swirl...and the world around her began to...grow?
Suddenly, she began to feel as if she could smell everything in the club, hear everything! But stuck down somewhere within the mist now, she couldn't see a thing at all! Nothing, of course, except herself...and her...paws?
...It was at this time that Shiori realized it: she had become a dog. A pink dog. This dog. Except pink.
Woof.
And then, the werewolf was gone... Quote: Shiori has transformed into a dog! Remain a dog in this event for no less than 3 days (real time)!

WYNN paced about the dance floor, awkwardly shuffling back and forth as she glanced around.
"I....have come to this party as....." she started, before glancing down at herself. She could say she was one of those...cards that Shu collected. She could say she was cosplaying a human....She could say she was a robot....
But...
All in all, she wasn't entirely sure what she was doing there. Shu was around somewhere, and she had wandered out alone...wondering just what was waiting for them....Amidst the strangely smoky dance floor...

WYNN Encounters...Grayback the Werewolf!Searching the misty dance floor for her precious Onii-Shu turned up little; it was unsettling the way that the music pumped and the lights flashed in WYNN's eyes, distorted by the fog and yet somehow all the more eerily beautiful because of it. It was almost enough to distract her from her search...and in that moment of hesitation, a fleeing miniature werewolf tumbled into her hip and fell in a heap to the floor with a snarl! Its eyes shimmered golden in the mist, visible as it leaped back to its feet in an instant and bared its teeth...
...But just then, the golden eyes found her emerald eyes and all traces of ferocity seemed to disappear! Instead, this undersized werewolf seemed...entranced? Its gray fur almost seemed pink around the cheeks, in fact, but surely that was just a trick of the lights, right? Right?
Or maybe not...as suddenly, a clawed hand extended to the green-haired girl. Was it...was it asking for a dance?! Quote: Choose a reaction!1. Um...this is weird... (Politely decline the dance.) 2. Aaaah! A Baby Werewolf! (Run like crazy!) 3. It's a little scary...but maybe turning it away is more dangerous? (Nervously accept its hand.) 4. This...this is the cutest thing EVER!! <3 (Eagerly accept the tiny weredoge's offer and give it a twirl!) ...Include your reaction in your next post!

WYNNWYNN glanced down at the tiny being stumbling into her...Barely keeping her own footing as the being started up to it's feet..... Before suddenly glancing with her, and holding out a claw.
"I...see." she started quietly as the being was no doubt offering her for something.... A dance?
She was not sure if she could trust someone in such a way, but Shu told her it would be rude to deny. Plus..
....
"I would be honored." she mused with a smile on her face, eagerly taking the tiny weredoge's offer, and giving it a playful twirl. Some part of her was very fond of dogs....... Shiori Encounters...Caliban the Monster!Yapping in the middle of the mist, Shiori's...voice? Dog voice? Whatever, seemed to fade into the din of the club and disappear without much response. That was, fortunately or unfortunately, until a figure began to part the purple mist and lumber in her direction. Instead of WYNN's attention, however, a different shadow was closing in...heavy footsteps almost echoing in spite of the loud club and the vibrations enough to make her paws tremble in response.
Suddenly, a massive figure began to bend down above the fuzzy puppy...the mist parting to reveal something...grotesque. A creature, stitched together and apparently some measure of undead, groaned with its movement and its mismatched eyes looked down at her unevenly. It had to be 8 feet tall! And twice that thick!
...And it was reaching one of its large arms down at her right now!!! Quote: Choose a reaction!1. HELL. NO. (Run away as fast as your four legs will carry you!) 2. If I'm gonna die, I'll die fighting! (Desperately bite the hand in self-defense!) 3. Maybe it's not so...no, no, this is definitely bad. (Shy away from the hand but don't run.) 4. So why did she have to wear these wings and ears? She didn't even know quite what she was supposed to be...only that she was in costume. She glanced around the area,quietly.. more than a little weirded out by the waist-high smog, so she instead moved over to the refreshments table, and went to get herself a drink.
"It..should be safe....right?"

WYNN Encounters...Grayback the Werewolf!Clumsily, the werewolf allowed itself to be spun by WYNN around the floor, but despite having a bit of trouble getting used to trying to dance in its current form, the wolf practically radiated with happiness! Attempting a spin itself after recovering its feet on a move, it tripped over its own feet and fell to the floor, scrambling back to its feet with a bit of canine instinct. Its face was glowing...was it embarrassed? Suddenly, as if convulsing with a mixture of joy and shame, it coughed...and at WYNN's feet suddenly landed a pair of stones, shimmering golden and crimson. Had it...had it swallowed those?
...Better not to think about it. Though if you wiped them off, they might prove useful, you think. And as you thought as much, the wolf offered a clumsy bow, unable to meet WYNN's eyes...and then, with a lunge, it was gone into the mist. Quote: WYNN danced with the weredoge and was gifted a [Fluctuating Fire Gem] and [Fluctuating Lightning Gem]! Effects to be explained later!

Maybe it was the canine instincts taking over - who knew how much of Shiori was currently left in the body? Willingly or otherwise, however, the little Chow-Chow seemed to be surprisingly okay when a large hand came down towards it, and appeared to be leaning into the hand instead of running away.
