As after she gave herself a couple of moments and a few inhales and exhales, she steadied her hands and drew the arrow back like she had the past few times she had played the game before releasing the arrow.

A dead center hit! That buzzing in her arms was back again.

Was this what it was like to be good at something? It felt... Nice.

Oh goodness, these gnomes again. Had... They lost the ring that she had found last time?

She hoped they still weren't weirded out from the over-sized key she had found last time but it still seemed they were in their own heated argument to really give much notice to her.

Good.

She quickly picked up a handful of her dress, tied a knot to her knees before beginning her search throw the large hay stack as she had the various other times. Damaris always seemed to forget just how itchy the stuff could be. It didn't bother her all that much to pick the stuff out of her dress. Gave her something to do while she stood off to the side afterwards.

She picked through handfuls of hay, by passing several other things before something twinkled in her sight and she quickly grasped it. It felt like that ring she had previous found.

She presented the ring once again, handing it quickly over before scooting herself away from the bickering gnomes once again.

WHACK A WALKER

Another day, another shot at trying to whack these little buggers poking their heads out of the holes.

Her tiny pink tongue poked out the side as she tried to her best to smack them. She missed a little more than a couple of times but she managed to hit just the right amount of them to 'pass'. She had kinda hoped, even though she won, that she would have at the very least had gotten better at the game.

It was a game of patience and skill so why hadn't she just gotten a little better...?

Now this had been something she was good at!

She held her head high as she took her place at the marker, arrow and bow in hand. She angled her arms and pulled the arrow back, aligning the nock by her eye... Probably a little off as the feathers at the end just barely brushed against her nose and, as it seemed to be just her luck...

She sneezed. Her grip let the arrow fly WAY off course.

Okay... Maybe she shouldn't draw the arrow that close to her face.

This one was a little better.

She steady her arms and kept her form as still as she could, keeping the end of the arrow AWAY from her nose this time and released the arrow with the precision she had had over the past couple of times she had played this. The middle ring wasn't bad. It was better than the other one she had done.
