The history of Eoana is remarkable, both tragic and valiant. The two kingdoms, Valor and Trendel, have been enemies for as long as anyone can remember. Only old fairy tales give insight into what might have happened that created the hatred between the two.

They say that hundreds of years ago, a Diviner in Valor claimed to hear the voice of a God. This God told her when her village should harvest, and when they should not. She would relay that information, and the village soon became prosperous and this woman became famous. She was sent to the Kingdom to aid the royalty. The Kingdom of Trendel was in a horrible place; droughts, storms, and the very earth shook beneath their feet. So, the royals from Trendel, having heard of the woman whom could speak with God, begged for her help. This is where the story changes between who is telling it.

Some say the woman had lied and did not hear the voice of God. Some say God was wrong. But many believe that the royalty of Valor told the woman to lie in order to keep their kingdom stronger. Whichever truth it may be, Trendel listened to the words of this woman and the entire Kingdom harvested their produce too late. This led to most of their food dying out, and many of it being rotten to the point of spreading a horrible disease. The Kingdom of Trendel suffered for many years to comes; through devastated wealth, a horrible disease that wiped out half of their population, and starvation. Many people tried to come over to Valor in search of some peace, but the King ordered their slaughter as to not spread the disease. This time became known as the Dark Age.

It is relatively peaceful in Valor Kingdom and Trendel. While Trendel does suffer from less wealth than Valor, they are not in worse shape than they were a long time ago. However, there is newfound hatred for each other. Six years ago, Trendel mages attempted to assassinate the royals during a graduation ceremony for the Grand Academy. Court Mages died and people were betrayed. This day became known as the Battle of Day.

Twenty years ago, the Queen of Valor was killed by a Tenebraer with blood magic. Due to this, the current King ordered for all Tenebraer to be slaughtered, both adults and children alike. Because magic is hereditary, the Tenebraer Knit diminished into nearly nothing. There are only a few known Tenebraer in Valor Kingdom at this moment in time. They are the only exception to this rule and because of its history, people fear the Tenebraer.

After several hundred years of war between neighboring countries, they eventually settled for peace - but the requirement was the creation of a new country....a truly neutral country that would host the Grand Academy of Eoana. This Academy is where countries from around the world send their children to advance their raiments and skills to a much more powerful point. Some parents send their children to advance themselves or better the world, other's send them to better their country with hopes of eventually reinstating the horrible war.
