[PRP] Omens of Death [Hayes x Keen]

Hayes hadn't known what he was doing when he walked out of his dorm that evening. Most students were probably visiting family. He didn't have any family to visit. After he made it to the world a Gwyllgi family had helped him understand how to use his new body and he would probably accept him back if he showed up on their doorstep, but he didn't. Hayes walked down the path from the dorms in a blur. Everything was hazy--nothing he did helped focus his gaze. Most others who woke up at a unusual hour (for them) and had blurry vision would have visited to school nurse, but Hayes didn't.

Sure, his vision was blurry but it had improved since coming to. He couldn't remember the last time he had left his dorm, or much of anything else. It was like starting out fresh but knowing you had missed a lot in the time between. Again, he wasn't concerned. Hayes kept walking until he reached the edge of the academy, deciding where it was he wanted to go and what he should do next. His eyes began to glow brightly in the darker light and with his natural grumpy nature he didn't appear to be all that approachable. In reality he wasn't. At least not by much. He wasn't one who sought out conversation naturally--though not one to ignore one either--he considered the merits of going somewhere with more townies.

He shivered at the thought.
