Bio: Baal-Krad has been alive for many. Many. MANY years. Almost as old as when the Titans roamed the lands in ancient times.. but not quite that old. He's gone by many names over the years he's lived, and bared witness to the first Angel and Demon War. He fought in the third. And when the Demon's were sectioned into factions, he rose above and took control of the Shadows.
He wanted power, to be strong, and protect what he loved. Unlike what he could do in the past.. to be strong and protect.. He had fallen in what he could only imagine was love, with an Angel named Cleadessa. Only to have watch her be slay by a buddy of his.. they were never a thing, as Cross Breeding was a huge taboo. But he admired her and loved her from afar, wishing to be the space of air before her and the flowers she'd pick..
Knowing she was gone. That he wasn't strong enough to break the rules for her. That he was a coward to be with her or even try. That he was too scared to even talk to her once. He wanted to grow stronger. He wanted to protect what he had left. His people.
Known for being harsh and unforgiving with his people when it comes to cross breeding, he only does so because of the heart ache he felt and will not allow that to happen once more. Though, most people don't know this. Very old demons know the tale of "The Star-Crossed Demons".. his tale, twisted into a child's story.
About a captured, white demon for her beauty, stolen by the angels. A dark demon king, wanting her back and wishing to see her even once. A story that talks about this "king" crying to the moon and stars to bring her back to him. But the moon, who thrived in darkness but relied on light, was a trickster. As long as he promised to depend on the Moons light and only the Moons light, the moon would help bring her back. Agreeing like the fool he was, the king was granted the power over light. To emerge shadows and grow stronger from the moon. But. To only see his lover perish by the light of others. The moon to giggle and tell him that he used his power outside of the moon and in the sun, to which, he broke his promise. Begging the Moon to spare her life, the moon was saddened by his heart ache, but could not bring her back to life. In the end, the moon would retreve her soul from the heavens and allow her to become one with the moon. So that every night, during a full moon, the demon king could see his beloved once more.
A child tale, that makes his love seem like she wasn't a taboo. And that she was still alive.. a Joke is what it was.
As years wore on, Baal-Krad began to hate the story so much that he started to dislike children. After years, he became stoic. Mean. And cold. Yet, he was only distant. Fearful of heart ache. Scared of losing more.
Personality: A stoic man, Baal-Krad is dark, quiet, and intimidating. Much like the shadow he controls. He's said to be a cruel king, and with many rules.. He isn't hesitant to exicute any trespassers that enter his relm of darkness, nor scared to punish any that break his rules. Ruling with an Iron fist, the demon is harsh and cold..
