~::Odaiba::~
[Tokyo's Artificial Island]

One of two famous man-made islands in the city of Tokyo (the other being Yokohama), originally made for defensive purposes, Odaiba stands now as one of the most beloved districts of the city to visit for a variety of reasons. Accessible only via the beautiful Rainbow Bridge and with one of only two accessible waterfronts in the city not blocked by businesses, Odaiba has in the last few decades become a famous date location for those looking to take in the most beautiful sights the city has to offer.

Most famous of these locations is the Odaiba Ferris Wheel, which can be seen all lit up at night from throughout the city. Beautiful and peaceful, it provides the clearest view of the waterfront and the sea beyond the city of anywhere in Tokyo. The waterfront itself provides a memorable location as well, with boats slowly passing, the peaceful sound of gentle rolling waves on the air, and the city itself always alive just around the way.
