Aww, he hadn't got her joke. "But thou hast three... and four... and five..." she tossed a few of the googly eyes at him - along with a glob of paint - "And, I estimatith, about ten yon more eyes!"

She hid a balloon behind her back, grinning. "So thou musteth seeth very far and very wide, indeedeth!"

With a sudden movement, she lobbed the balloon at him. "But didst thou seeth that coming?!" she crowed.

Thoroughly paint covered.

Thoroughly filthy.

Thoroughly delighted.

Caiden laughed loud and joyfully as the surprise balloon hit him. Also he had googly eyes. He stood up and shakily made his way to where he thought Kieonx was, then shook like a dog, spraying paint everywhere.

Keionx yelped (heroically), holding up her hands against the spray. Laughter flowed like water - this was the most fun she'd had in a long time. A long time.

And it was real - not a figment of her imagination, but real. Alive. Covered in paint.

Caiden hurled another balloon, haphazardly. Yeah it wasnt going anywhere.

He held up his left hand, the only spot on the boy that was not covered completely in paint. "Only one spot left!" Caiden shouted, "Color me!!"

"And let our battle be over faster?" she asked, throwing a balloon at him, glorying in it's splatter even as she missed, "Tis too fun to end so easily - try me again, let us see what new colors I may become!"

"I am not!" she said, feigning mock offense (she totally was) "And I shalt prove it to thee!" She threw her balloon and, this time, it was perfection.

In a balloon toss.

Pain splattered beautifully - had it been water, it might have made a rainbow in the lamplight. As it was, around them was a true rainbow of color, mixing and melding together.

Funny that. Paint didn't judge. Paint mixed and melded - all colors were equal. Save for black, which tinted all, and brown which was all colors as one...

Keionx had no idea why she was thinking that, and the oddly philosophical thought was there and gone again, replaced by a pure and joyous laugh. "Ahaha! We beist as works of art!"

Caiden took the hit, and dramatically flopped down onto the ground. The ground was covered in paint already so the brownblood could have completely blended in if he didn't move.

"So" He said as he stood up and turned around in a circle, showing himself off. "What do you think of your work?" The brownblood asked, striking a pose.

Keionx's laughter did not end. She didn't want it to - it felt like a lifetime of stress leaving her, free of sorrow and pain.

"Beautiful, Sir Caiden." she said happily, "Absolutely beautiful."
