Halloween is just around the corner. You folks got anything planned to celebrate the festivities? What are you dressing up as?

As for me, I'll be attending an anime convention on Saturday of the Halloween weekend, so I'll be cosplaying as Kaorinite (black magus dress version), a villain from Sailor Moon.



Then the assisted living facility I work at is having a Harvest Party on actual Halloween that I'm planning on attending. If I have the costume done in time, I'll probably be wearing Keyleth (autumn version), from Critical Role, for it.

i do a zombie thing for a local fundraiser; they haul carts full of kids through these farms and forests and people like me jump up out of the ground and scare them silly.

i usually add a scary scream too but i did not do that part last year because my hole in the ground must have seemed comfy on a frosty evening since it attracted a sleepy skunk!

so, no screaming, and i did not even leap up as energetically as i had done on other years.

Wow, everyone has cool stuff planned. neutral I'm just going to be handing out candy. Hopefully out karate teacher cancels our Monday class that day.

On a normal basis, I don't usually have any Halloween plans. It just happened that the anime convention's dates landed near the holiday this year (due to them moving to a new location)... and of course, at my new place of working [relative to the other jobs I have] does their various holiday get-togethers. So, I ended up having more planned for this year than usual.

My co-worker was a butterfly fairy too - both for the convention and for the assisted living's Harvest Party (different outfits but she kept telling everyone that she was a "butterfly"). xd
