Alkidike/Elaria Breeding Rules
General

Alkidike and Elaria sisters have a very unique way that they breed in Tendaji. This thread covers breeding rules as well as directions on how to apply for breedings once your character(s) are ready.

Although there are obviously intimate moments between characters during their relationships...That does not mean you need to always RP it out. Remember Gaia TOS; keep things PG-13.

Below are general rules for breeding in Tendaji, and the additional posts cover specific situations including single parent breedings, same-race breedings, and hybrid breedings. Make sure to read all rules carefully before you submit your forms! And if you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact Suhuba.

|| All Alkidike/Elaria Breedings involve a trip to their main settlement, where the potential parent(s) must plead their case with their mother tree.
|| Pure Alkidike/Elaria do NOT have reproductive organs. They cannot get pregnant.
|| Alkidikes/Elaria may breed once they reach the Blade Stage.
|| An Alkidike/Elaria may breed up to 2 times; however a single Alkidike/Elaria may only breed by themselves once.

|| In order to receive offspring, an Alkidike/Elaria (or pair) must go to their mother tree and plead with to create a child in her likeness. The flower(s) produced will be unique in color.
|| Children born will have a trait mix of their parent(s).
|| For an additional payment outside of the base payment, parents can select unique traits for their child. The trait options are listed below.

|| Since there is no co-owning, owners may decide who will own which flower.
|| Two new, special stages will accompany your bundles of joy.
|| Breeding will not be hindered by character slots, but please visit our character slot thread for how breedings will effect character availability.
|| Owners may choose to gift their baby(ies) to other owners. Those owner(s) must have open slots to accept.
|| Owners can only participate in one breeding at a time. The youngling must be dropped for the breeding to be considered closed and an owner able to start a new one.

Additional Alkidike/Elaria Breeding Stages

Flower
A beautiful, lotus-like flower. This growing bud does not match the mother's tree traditional blooms. This particular blossom possess a unique hue, indicating that, wrapped within its delicate petals, is a child formed in the likeness of another Tribe member. Soon, the woman who pleaded so fervently with their mother tree will gain a new, rare title: mother.

Youngling
Freshly bloomed from large, lotus-like flowers, these young, adorable, vulnerable creatures must be diligently cared for. Young and innocent, these children attend school and learn about their world during this stage, but they must stay close to their homes, lest something terrible befall them in this hostile world.

Alkidike Breeding

Single Alkidike Breeding Rules

|| Single breeding requires 3 solos.
|| The first two should be completed before applying for breeding and include the idea of wanting children and the visit to Aisha.
|| The last must be started after applying for breeding and should involve finding out the news that they are expecting a lotus. This solo must be completed before the results of breeding will be dropped.
|| When the initial form is posted, Suhuba will either approve the form or contact the parents further. Once approval is given the owners are ready to begin the last required solo.
|| All three should be 1k words +
|| Alkidikes may breed once they reach the Blade Stage.
|| A single Alkidike may only breed by themselves once.
|| For a single Alkidike to breed, a sum of 100mil must be sent to Suhuba after the breeding request to Aisha has been accepted.
|| One flower will be produced. Female, of course.
|| For an additional 20mil, the parent may choose up to two traits for their child

|| Alkidike hybrids cannot use this option. They must have a partner.

Alkidike x Alkidike Breeding Rules

|| Breeding requires 3 RPs.
|| The first two should be completed before applying for breeding and include establishing a relationship and the talk of children/trip to Aisha.
|| The last must be started after applying for breeding and should involve finding out the news that they are expecting. This RP must be completed before the results of breeding will be dropped.
|| When the initial form is posted, Suhuba will either approve the form or contact the parents further. Once approval is given the owners are ready to begin the last required RP.
|| Alkidikes may breed once they reach the Blade Stage.
|| An Alkidike may breed up to 2 times.
|| For two Alkidikes to breed, a sum of 175mil must be sent to Suhuba after the breeding request with Aisha has been accepted.
|| Two flowers will be produced (unless otherwise requested). Both female.
|| If a different number of flowers are requested, payment will be adjusted accordingly.
|| Breedings involving more than twins are not guaranteed. Owners requesting triplets may roll 1d20 and if they roll a 1 or 20 they have successfully bred triplets.
|| For an additional 40mil, parents may choose up to two traits for each of their children

Alkidike x Earthling Breeding Rules

|| This option cannot be used if the alkidike parent is less than one half Alkidike. They will have to use earthling breeding rules.
|| The Alkidike hybrid parent must follow an alkidike class in order to plead to Aisha.
|| Breeding requires 3 RPs.
|| The first two should be completed before applying for breeding and include establishing a relationship and the talk of children/trip to Aisha.
|| The last must be started after applying for breeding and should involve finding out the news that they are expecting. This RP must be completed before the results of breeding will be dropped.
|| When the initial form is posted, Suhuba will either approve the form or contact the parents further. Once approval is given the owners are ready to begin the last required RP.
|| This is an incredibly rare combination. Aisha must be thoroughly convinced that the Earthling is not only worthy of combining his/herself with an Alkidike, but that this pairing will benefit Tendaji in some way.
|| Alkidikes and Earthlings may both breed once they each reach their Second Stage.
|| Alkidikes and Earthlings may both breed up to 2 times.
|| For an Alkidike and an Earthling to breed, a sum of 250mil must be sent to Suhuba after the breeding request has been accepted.
|| Two flowers will be produced (unless otherwise requested). Their genders will be decided randomly.
|| If a different number of flowers are requested, payment will be adjusted accordingly.
|| Breedings involving more than twins are not guaranteed. Owners requesting triplets may roll 1d20 and if they roll a 1 or 20 they have successfully bred triplets.
|| Bred younglings will take after their parents. This means that babies will have half of one parent's and half of the parent's race. If one is a hybrid, it will mean that the baby will look more like the full race parent since that would be 50% one race and only a quarter (or whatever the case is) the other.

Trait Options (For Alkidike x Earthling Breedings)

|| Standard breedings are totally random. The artist in charge of the breeding is able to choose everything about the babies from gender to skin color to hairstyle, etc.
|| For an additional 60mil, parents may choose up to three traits for each of their children:

|| For an additional 60mil, parents may choose to have nearly identical twins.
xxxxWhat this means is the babies from the breeding will have all of the same traits except for one minor trait (like crystal color, eye color, ear shape, etc.).
xxxxOwners will not be able to choose any of the traits, artists will get 100% full reign over what the babies will look like, but they are guaranteed to look nearly identical.
xxxxThis does not include hairstyle, Hairstyles will vary per baby.

All Alkidike Breeding must be accompanied by a trip to Chibale Island, where the potential parent(s) must plead their case with Aisha. If your plea has been approved by Aisha, please send the correct amount of gold to Suhuba and post the following form in this thread:

Custom Traits

|| To help you determine the type of traits you can select, if you wish to do so, we have provided the accepted traits in a list below.
|| Each of these traits count as a single option, so if you wish to make multiple combinations of the below traits, please plan accordingly. (A great rule of thumb is to think of it like this: one color is one trait, one shape is one trait, etc)
|| It is assumed that if a hybrid breeding occurs with a pure Earthling, Crystals will reflect the Earthling's placement, coloring, and shape. You will not need to select these options if you ask for Earthling Crystals unless you want to ensure specific appearances.
|| If you have any questions, please contact Suhuba prior to submitting your breeding form.
|| Please note: some traits are meant to be used in conjunction with other traits! For example, in order to use “Add Second Crystal Color” you need to have used one trait to choose a first color. So asking for mixed crystal colors is two traits: parent A crystal color, and parent B crystal color.
|| Picking Marking Type (Matori markings) means they will have both underbelly and speckling. (There are also trait options to pick just speckling or just underbelly.)
|| Regardless of traits chosen, characters can only have one marking type.

Please note that by not picking or including a trait, it does not mean they will not be part of the child. It just means the artist has the choice to add or subtract that trait when creating your children!
