Community Run ORP Thread

In an effort to increase the communal feel the pride is supposed to have and to help alleviate some of the stress from Meepfur and myself from having to host them ourselves, this thread will outline specifications to receive pride-owner aid for hosting official ORPs. These are pride-sanctioned, meaning you are being given permission from Meepfur and I to host types of ORPs that are typically off-limits and receive some prizes to give away in it as well. The amount and type of prizes will vary depending on what kind of ORP is being hosted and how many people participate.

Keep in mind that you cannot use the Injury Permissions thread in any of these unless a second, temporary permission is given during a sign-up phase. Permission cannot be given mid-ORP.


Type of ORP -- how many are needed to lead, any other requirements for participation
Duration: -- how long you have to complete the ORP, excluding sign-up periods.


Mkhulu -- 1 lion/ess (to lead), need sign-up period, minimum of two lionesses must sign up (cannot be owned by the same person who is leading)
Duration: Two months
Available: No

• Must hunt large, normally unhunted prey. Options: rhinoceros, elephant, giraffe, hippopotamus, or crocodile.
  
• Must include some kind of damage system for the intended prey.
  
• Must allow a minimum of one week to sign-up, maximum of three weeks.

Inqina -- 2 lionesses (to lead, must not be owned by the same person)
Duration: Two months
Available: Yes

• At least 2 litters must have been born since the last one.
  
• Must include a life lesson and at least one hunting scene.
  
• Nothing horrible can happen without permission from Meepfur or I -- no death, fatal or severe injury.
  
• Must allow a minimum of one week to sign-up, maximum of three weeks.

Kwa -- 2 lions (to lead, must not be owned by the same person)
Duration: One month
Available: No

• Must include a minimum of two males hunting.
  
• Males can be any rank, including Ahluke.
  

Vulture Hatching -- 1 lioness (to lead), and a sign-up period with at least 4 cubs signing up (must not be owned by the same person, or owned by the person leading)
Duration: One month
Available: Yes

• Must include leading the cubs to the vulture nest.
  
• Must allow a minimum of one week to sign-up, maximum of two weeks.

Prize Eligibility

Prizes must be distributed prior to the beginning of the ORP. Bonus prizes are handed out after the ORP concludes. Prizes can be random, as it all depends on what we have available. They can range from lionesses, to cubs, all the way to familiar or even lions.

It is important to mention that hosts are ineligible to win any of the prizes being given away in their ORP. Prizes can be given away in any manner though, but must given equal opportunity to all participants. Small raffles mid-ORP are fine, as are dice challenges, but you can't have anything similar to a speed-based flatsale. If you are co-leading, you must communicate with the other user as to how you want to distribute the prizes.

Bonus prizes must be raffled at the end of the ORP, either by 1 post = 1 ticket or 1 ticket per person.

• Every 2 males participating = 1 prize

Vulture Hatching

• Every 4 cubs signed up = 1 prize

Signing Up

So you've read over the information listed in the first two posts and still want to host an ORP? Great!

To go over the basics again:

• You (and possibly one other) will be in charge or setting up and running the selected ORP.
  
• You will be given a certain amount of prizes depending on how many people sign up or participate.
  
• You (and any co-host) cannot win any of the prizes reserved for your ORP.
  
• If your ORP is uncompleted within the allotted time frame, Meepfur or I will come in to complete it. In the even this happens, your Host Reward for that ORP will be void and you will be unable to host any more pride-sanctioned ORPs for two months.
  
• There's an ORP template that I use at the bottom of this post. Be sure to check out some of the other ORPs if you need help with filling it out! You're also welcome to add your own sections to it. It's just a base skeleton to get you started.

Any information for this donation: Can be born in or joined at a young age with her NPC mother depending on what suits the pride. To tidy things up the mother could have died in a hunting accident after joining with them. She's from a male rogue breeding, and this is the father. He's not aware of his cubs and will not come looking for them. Her sister will join the pride too if this donation is accepted smile
