The Godaime reached forward for both items as they were handed to him. He stood upon receiving the flowers, eyes scanning his office to try to find an appropriate vessal for them. He walked over to the small coffee table in the more relaxed portion of his office, surrounded by couches that were meant to receive his more formal or relaxed guests. It was during the time he was gently settling the wildflowers into the vase that Nozomi and Kagerou spoke up about his state of appearance.
"Ah," He stated, picking up the fancy, bought bouqet to set aside in a vase in a darker corner of the room. "Are you my highly qualified and slightly over-paid doctor now, are you?" Inka turned to the genin, a wry smirk on his features. "Some matters can only be put off for so long," he explained, walking to his desk to pick up a folder, double check its contents, and then hand over a single sheet of paper from within. The folder is placed in a drawer and the paper held out for one of the genin to take before he would turn around to walk away from the genin, and his desk, to a chest of drawers. He reached out to the side and pulled open a folding screen - blocking himself from the sight of the Genin. "And I have been working in this office for years - of course I have spare clothes. Now,"

The Hizara explained over the sound of his opening the drawers and undressing from his wet garments. "Then escort them back here. Just for the record, if Kagerou had been a qualified doctor in change of the Mizukage's well-being, she would have been telling him to get checked out while stripping him. After all, no better way to get someone to change clothes immediately than to start it for them. However, she didn't say anything about that. While she didn't make a big fuss over nudity, at least for medical purposes, she did know such a comment was indecent and could be taken the wrong way. As it was, the still-smiling Kagerou merely shook her head at Inka's remark. Besides, the Mizukage's remark was just a joke.
Holding back any number of time-wasting comments, there were only a few to begin with, Kagerou glanced over at Nozomi when Inka offered both of them a single paper. Just like last time, she gave priority over the paper to the more experienced kunoichi. However, as with last time, Nozomi didn't seem interested in taking the offered written instructions, or at least she wasn't interested fast enough. Kagerou took the paper from Inka after a moment of observation, and while Inka moved to change, Kagerou began reading the paper. The dutiful genin looked up only once, when she heard the screen doors move, to see what he was doing. Once she figured that the Mizukage was heeding the advice and changing, she returned to the paper in hand.
The individuals looked... Kagerou figured, Trying to keep her questions relevant and only what was necessary, the genin spent about half a minute reading through everything and figuring out what was needed. In that time, the paper wasn't even fully in front of Kagerou, but held towards the side of her that Nozomi was at so that the red-headed Aburame could see for herself the mission details.
"Inka-sama," Kagerou asked, "as I am better at healing than preventing damage, may I request for Takeda Shirai to be placed on this mission with us?". Technically, any other close combatant would fit the bill for Kagerou's request, but Takeda looked like he needed some fresh air outside the village. A change of pace, so to speak, and if he was going to go out so soon after being discharged from the hospital, then she'd prefer if he was leaving with a medic in his squad.

Nozomi watched him trying to find a place for the vessel while Kageoru had expressed concerns about his wet clothing. She was too, concerned but since Kageoru had piped up before her, Nozomi decided not to bug Inka. Unless, of course, he declined to changing into warm clothes, then she will join on Kageoru's side for the sake of his health. Once he found a lovely place for the flowers, Nozomi smiled brightly behind her mask, the rise of her cheeks would been slightly noticeable even underneath the hood. Inka joked with Kageoru as she joked right back, a soft sigh emitted from Nozomi that she didn't realize she was holding. They were okay. Of course, she needed to check on Kumotake as soon as possible; she haven't seen him since the news of her father's death. It was an understatement that she was slightly worried about him. Or was there something more?
Course not. She's young. Too young to understand what love was. Nozomi zoned out so much that she snapped out of it when the green haired medic had reached for the folder that Inka had given them. He confirmed that he did indeed, have spare clothes. He explained part of the mission as she wanted to take in a peak of the folder but then grimaced slightly which would been hidden by both of them when she heard the name, Takeda Shirai. Last time she hang out with the three of them... it.. it did not go well. At all. Nozomi was never the one to turn down a mission. Hell, she went in headfirst with Jack, Shadow, and that one Senju guy whose name she no longer remembers, into the Sero barrier. She can distinctly remember his face however. Without thinking, her fingertips were tracing her plate of Kirigakure symbol slightly above her chest. "Inka-kun? If you want me to go on this mission, I will, but I will be honest, I don't think the three of us working together again this soon would be a good idea, and I need to find Kumotake... it's about the Aburame clan. If you really want me on this mission, I'll go."

Nozomi's refusal to accept the mission worried Kagerou slightly. Her eyes found their way to the floor, slightly dejected but not enough to completely erase her smile. She could guess what the problem would be, and maybe if it was just that problem, then she could try to encourage Nozomi to try for the mission anyways. After all, there was no harm in trying. However, Takeda had just been scolded by Inka, and what's more, he had threatened Severin. Trying could just aggravate the problem. It seemed like time, more than anything, will be needed, and Kagerou also made a mental note to be careful around Takeda to not stress him any further. In the end, though, there wasn't much point in worrying. Kagerou tried not to get too sad about seeing her squad mate, at least she still considered him as such, struggling with getting along with others.
Kagerou's eyes raised once more and her smile grew with expectation when she heard shifting behind the folding screen. It sounded like Inka was about done changing, which meant he would soon reply to what Kagerou and Nozomi had just said. However, he would hold the two genin for a bit longer as he walked over to his desk to dig out some files.
In the meantime, Kagerou's eyes narrowed in observation to pass the ticking seconds. At first, she tried to search for any hidden injuries. The clothes were an obvious obstacle, but she knew to look beyond just wounds her eyes could see. She studied the gait and posture to pick out any irregularities. As that was about all she could observe to study the Mizukage's physical health, it only took Kagerou maybe not even a second. Then she studied other things about Inka's appearance. The bold Mizukage had walked out in a fresh set of clothes. Kagerou could only hope completely down to his underwear because otherwise that would not doubt be very uncomfortable and just asking to develop a rash. He was no longer dripping water, but it was only expected that there will still be some trace amounts of moisture clinging to his skin and hair, enough to hold his hair in place after his rough brush and, with the help of the light in the Mizukage's room, give a sheen to his face that accentuated his infamously dashing features. Kagerou found herself comparing the two beautiful males with each other. She settled on the opinion that rather than competing, they gained more from complementing each others looks, In the appearance department, at least, the individual strengths of the two would increase the appeal of the other side.
Inka calling her full name started Kagerou out of her observation. Narrowed eyes blinked wide open and an already straight back straightened even further. Down to her smile, Kagerou looked a little confused. Although, surprised would be a more accurate way of describing what she felt. Hearing her surname wasn't common at all. What followed was something even more uncommon: an offer to promote to chuunin. Of course, the information after that was more important--assurance that Kagerou would be able to take Takeda on the mission with her regardless of whether or not she accepted the promotion--but it didn't have quite the same impact.
As Kagerou was given a choice, she took advantage of the time to consider the decision. Her breath exhaled in a hum, "Hmmm," as her eyes moved to look at the ground. Her smile, now bemused, twitch slightly every now and then in response to this thought or that. She should have been ready for this sort of result after taking the chuunin exams, but that didn't mean she had expected it. Her eyes shifted to the side. She was sure a few more months of service as a genin would have been needed before she was deemed ready for a rank up. Her eyes shifted to the other side. However, at the same time, with the current structure of Kirigakure, she would be able to help so much more from this position. For instance, something she had forgotten about until just now: only chuunin and above can assign people to missions.
Well, in the end, it sort of didn't matter to Kagerou what she thought about her eligibility for proposal. Regardless of how sincere the option to decline was, the Uchiha was expected to accept a promotion at the first opportunity. Not from her father's Uchiha side of the family, though, but from her mother's side. If the leader of the village thought she was ready, then Kagerou was expected to have no reason to think that she wasn't. Thinking about it, though, did make her feel better about it, calmer.
Feeling personally okay with the promotion, Kagerou followed what was expected of her. With a comfortable smile, she accepted, "The honor is mine, Lord Mizukage, to accept the promotion to chuunin," with a small bow, "and thank you for letting me sign Takeda up for this mission. Will I be notified of any new responsibilities now or will that wait for after I have completed escorting our guests from Takumi with the help of... Turtle, was it?".

Nozomi let out a sigh of relief of a breath she didn't realize she was holding for so long. Inka was okay with her denying the mission. She had her own reasons after all, and she haven't had the time to apologize to him yet. If she was to go on the mission with him already without her apologizing, it may not go well at all for them. It was better like this. And besides, once she apologizes, both her and him may needed some time to accept that it's, hopefully, accepted and it was time to move on. She was getting ready to leave but it seemed that Inka had other things on his mind. Confused, she waited for him to finish changing along with Kageoru, not noticing that the medic was so focused onto their Mizukage to check for any injuries that he may have sustained. Once he was done, the brunette had walked to the desk and set down the files of ... them? Maybe. His pronouncing of the full name could possibly confirm that the files, were indeed, theirs.
Once the words promotion had reached to her, her eyes had widen in surprise and she let out a sudden high pitch short squeak that she had never made in her entire life. Completely surprised and shocked, Kagerou had the opportunity to respond before the Aburame did. Did.. did she really deserve a promotion? She had been gone so long! What made him think she was perfectly capable to be a Chuunin!? But she couldn't argue with him. He said the right words. It would be HIS honor. How... why... it was so hard to even think of an argument without making it seem like she doesn't trust him. "T-Thank y-you... I.. uh.." Her body was full of shock and surprise, she hasn't even moved an inch yet. There was something else. "I... uh. I need to talk to you about something else... alone..."

"I will upgrade your Fuuin seal now - this will open up the library and dojo to you. You are also now authorised to take Genin there for training - though you will be one to remain responsible for their actions and injuries." The Godaime clarified as he stepped around the desk, hand out for Kagerou to reveal her seal. "You also now have the authority to gather a squad and assign genin to a mission under your care." By the time Inka had finished explaining, the seal would be done being upgraded. On the surface, nothing would be different, but the inner workings would have been altered to grant its wearer greater access to the village. With that done, Inka steps back and clasps his hands behind his back.
"Turtle will meet you in Takumi. He will aid you in traversing the village, locating the music troupe, and will join you for the escort back - baring any unforseen issues, of course." The Godaime tilts his head. "Questions?"

That squeak was just adorable, and it had taken all of Kagerou's control to hold back the entirety of her laughter. However, when she glanced to Nozomi as she answered, arched eyebrows, a glitter in the eyes, and a wide smile clearly gave away that she very much appreciated Nozomi's reaction. It could be said that Kagerou was a little entertained.
The news that Nozomi needed to talk to Inka about something in private was Kagerou's cue to look forwards, nodding as her eyes moved back. She wasn't at all bothered by it. She understood. In a prompt manner, she smoothly followed through the protocol for ranking up, extending her hand and allowing Inka to work upon the rectangular seal upon it. With her fingers touching each other like they were, the black markings formed the outline of a card. As expected, that appearance didn't change once the seal was upgraded to the next authority rank. The seal system was fairly new, having only been around for less than half a year, but Kagerou was already well-versed in what each rank allowed and disallowed.
That being said, there were no questions about either the seal or the mission to Takumi. She was given enough information to carry on without further bothering the Mizukage. Considering that Nozomi had something she wanted to discuss with the village leader alone, that meant this was Kagerou's cue to leave. At least, that was what everything she had been taught told her, but she never could leave alone someone who was hurt.
Scrutinizing the Mizukage's body wouldn't answer her question. She had already confirmed that when he stepped out from behind the changing screen and also when he moved around the desk to change her's and Nozomi's seals. Instead, Kagerou looked him straight in the eyes. Would she be able to tell like this? Well, she would see. Without preamble and as bluntly as one could possibly be while still smiling, Kagerou asked, "Will you be calling your qualified and slightly overpaid doctor to see to your injuries once we are gone, Inka-sama? You must have been hit at least three times by my count, one of them strong enough to stun you, and I only saw the end of that fight. If you don't have the time to send out a summons, I can stop by the hospital on my way out and put in a request for you." In her defense for the snark, Inka had started it when she first inquired about his health and he simply brushed it off with the very words that Kagerou had stolen to use just now. He had treated everything but that question seriously, so If this was how he wanted to talk about his injuries, then she'd try to match his pace until he spilled the beans.

Change the seal? Ah.. yea.. the tattoo. Right. Okay. Nozomi glanced around as she thought of using something to help support her with her balance while she takes her left shoe off. Nope. Well, there was the couch and chair and tables of course, but it would just be too awkward and strange for her to march the right over there when she could take off her shoe right here? Okay! She can do this! As long she doesn't get distracted! A-one, a-two, a thr-' Her mind was cut off when she heard Inka explaining that they would be responsibles for genin right when she had lifted her left leg backwards, right at that moment, her distraction and sudden fear of being responsible for lives had caused her to sway and lose her balance. With a sharp and sudden thud, it was followed by a cheery, "I'm okay!" But inside, deep down inside, she was terrified. Last time she was with a group, she almost killed an ally. Timdly, she finally got to manage to take off her left shoe, revealing a hercules beetle tattoo in watercolors style of blue and green.

[･･･] Inka's face fell at Kagerou's sudden question - his sharp features turning into a flat and extremely unimpressed gaze. And at the mention of the hits he took - by the end, Inka's left eye had narrowed slightly and he took a few seconds of silence before answering.
"My preferred doctor," He began speaking, voice clipped and face filled with forced cheer. "Is already aware of my health. Now go before I start throwing stationary at you!" He lied, amusement colouring his tone and betraying his lack of hostile intent. With Kagerou dealt with, Inka finally turned his full attention to Nozomi. The poor girl's earlier fall had made him cringe inwardly, lightening the sting to his own pride. Walking over, he knelt down next to the Aburame, taking a moment to re-sweep his hair back as the wet strands threatened to fall forward and drop on Nozomi's exposed skin.

Kagerou's smile didn't falter even when the thought, She wasn't blaming Nozomi. No, not at all. It was just a comment about the situation. In fact, Kagerou felt bad for Nozomi.
Having jumped out of the way when she heard the crash, missing the chance to catch it in her peripheral vision with the amount of focus she was putting into Inka's features, Kagerou's original intent to stare Inka straight into his eyes was now broken. Now, concerned for both Inka and Nozomi, she had to keep an eye on both of them.
Until Inka spoke to her again, Kagerou looked at Nozomi with the same worry that she felt when she looked at Inka, though at a much lesser degree because she had only fallen. Falling was something her father did a lot, which meant Kagerou was usually quick in picking up any problems. Foot not twisted? Check. Perky response after fall? Check. Conscious? Check. Motor skills functional? Check. Concussion? She was acting too clearly for that. Grimaces? Nothing to cause any worry.
Then Inka started speaking, and Kagerou's head whipped around to look at him, still determined to read his intentions in his eyes. What she saw and heard was... difficult to judge on without context, context meaning knowing how Inka talked and acted in general. However, the way the Mizukage joked right after lying, and the contrast in the way he spoke both parts was off enough for Kageoru. Her intuition told her he was lying. Although, maybe Kagerou had just overstepped her bounds with her question.
Kagerou thought as she her eyes looked away from Inka and back to Nozomi, purposely without answering his question. Kagerou gave Nozomi a double check over. Her smile had pinched and her eyes looked downcast. She really didn't want to give up here, but she had a mission to go on and the Mizukage was already reserved for a private talk. That aside, she only had intuition and assumptions to accuse the Mizukage of lying about his physical condition.
Nozomi checked out and in praise, Kagerou bent over to give her friend a little bop on the head with her free hand. "You should be more careful," the green-haired medic chided, her smile still small but a little bigger now that she had confirmed Nozomi was, indeed, fine. The sunflower still held between Kageoru's fingers was twirled when Kagerou straightened up. she tried again to think, . Kagerou's head tilted at the unspoken question, and if it wasn't already strange that she hadn't immediately given the Mizukage an answer, then certainly the pause and thoughtful expression now, short as it was, would seem a little strange.
"Your stationary doesn't scare me, Inka-sama," Kagerou started by making clear, "In fact, I think a pen from the kage's office sounds like it'd make a nice souvenir." Her light tone matched the amusement Inka's had when he was making that little joke threat. She wasn't quite nearly singing like she might have been if she was talking to someone that wasn't the Mizukage, but Kagerou was finding it easy (and noticing she found it much easier than with the previous Mizukage) to feel welcome to act casually in the Mizukage's presence. Respect was always a given, but he also...
About the doctor and Kagerou feeling like Inka had been lying... she said nothing. She had taken some time while talking about the stationary and pens to slip the sunflower through the back of her belt, thogh, and when her hands returned to the front, her right wrist had the bells she had stowed away before entering the kage's office. Apparently, she had retrieved them from her hip pouch while working on the sunflower. The musical instruments were grasped firmly in her right hand, their rings killed by the grip.
Without even a word of farewell---but at least she did bow politely--Kagerou made to leave the office. She opened the door out to the lobby, stepped out, and right before closing the door, she released her bells and turned to wave her farewells, "See you around, Nozomi. Inka-sama, please take care of your health." Exactly three waves then the door closed.
Each wave of Kagerou's hand released a sound that was used to deliver one activation of the minor variation of healing hands, each multiplied into three instances. Lie or not, it was always better to be safe than sorry, and because she had cast it right as she left, Kagerou couldn't get in trouble for it (at least not yet). The same went for Nozomi, Kagerou hadn't been able to give her an actual check-up. While minor healing hands couldn't do much, even if it was the strongest Kagerou could use from this range, she hoped to at least heal enough to alleviate some pain, if there was any, by properly focusing the technique.
Nozomi would feel the technique on whatever part of her body she had fallen on and, just to be extra sure, on the ankle that didn't have the tattoo. Inka would feel the effects on the shoulder Takeda had shocked and pinned him with as well as the elbow of that arm that he had twisted. A couple more instances of minor healing hands found their way to Inka's lower and upper back. The remaining three instances would provide minor relief to Inka's hip, neck, and his chest. Kagerou couldn't be certain what went on during the fight when she wasn't looking, but she these were some of the main stress points during grappling fights.

Nozomi decided to stay out of the crossfire between Kageoru and Inka. No way does she want to be in the middle of that. Nope. Even though she almost already was, she was content to right where she was, dodging the crossfire the best as she could. Inka was a smart man. He should be mature and wise enough to know the consequences to not tending to injuries soon enough. Inka had made his way to her as she smiled brightly up to him in greeting as he pushed his hair back and touched her tattoo. "Thanks.." She mumbled softly, still shocked and unsure of what to do. To take people under her wing? Has he even read the report to what happened between her and Takeda? Part of her wanted to write a quick apology letter and give it to Kageoru so she could give it to Takeda, but to her, that was a coward move. No, she should face him. Once the tattoo was updated, she slipped her shoe back on and stood back up, dusting herself along the way. Her eyes glanced to make sure Kageoru had left fully before she addressed to the Mizukage to what she wanted to say. "When... When I'm strong enough, I want to visit the fish islands... hopefully they will accept me to summon them." Straight to the point, she waited to hear Inka's thoughts about this.

"To be honest, you're a little under the minimum mission requirement to be Chuunin - but the previous... states of emergency Kirigakure has gone through has left us weaker than I care to ever admit. We need the able hands and leaders for the Genin to see and look up to. Rich, coming from me, I know." He shrugs and leans back against the desk, hands in the pockets of his pants. Personal Attributes: • Last Resort : When a fatal strike is headed towards Inka's way he can use an emergency reserve of chakra and stamina to disrupt the attack but in doing so he must immediately flee. • Family Legacy : Katon jutsu is not beaten by Suiton jutsu one rank lower, and cancels out Suiton jutsu of same rank. • Paternal : Should Inka believe his son is in danger his attacks increase in power by a moderate amount.

Butterfly Kisses - Nozomi is able to cast her genjutsu, if they are touch based, through her insects. She makes the handsigns, but the jutsu is delivered by the insects. Example, if Nozomi have six insects on six people, all would be affected by her genjutsu. It would cost 2 ranks less per person to use. Such as if the technique is A-rank, it would cost C-rank chakra per person. While the cost of the technique drops two rank, so does the power.

Just for the record, if Kagerou had been a qualified doctor in change of the Mizukage's well-being, she would have been telling him to get checked out while stripping him. After all, no better way to get someone to change clothes immediately than to start it for them. However, she didn't say anything about that. While she didn't make a big fuss over nudity, at least for medical purposes, she did know such a comment was indecent and could be taken the wrong way. As it was, the still-smiling Kagerou merely shook her head at Inka's remark. Besides, the Mizukage's remark was just a joke.
