Kicheko splashed in the tide pools at low tide. She had been having a great few weeks despite the threat of the buffalo in the jungle. She had a new den all to herself, she had made a few new friends in the rogues that had joined, and she even found a rather special male to snuggle with from time to time when she felt the need to settle down. She grinned at the thought of Rasul, off doing gods knew what, but who would certainly be back waiting for her in their den when she returned.

Finding a few small critters in the tide pool, she decided to give it a rest. She didn't want to hurt them, after all. Paws now wet, she grimaced as she walked in the sand and the little granules stuck to her fur. Ugh...that was the one part about living on the beach that she wasn't so fond of. She made her way to the jungle where foliage met sand and wiped her paws on the grassy ground. There!

She turned her paws towards the den area. The sun was starting to sit low in the sky and it was time to head in for the night. Nothing was better than snuggling up to a warm lion while listening to the crashing of the waves on the shore.
