Rules Do not post in this thread. I get busy, you can prod me to remind me of things but I am a very busy person so patience is appreciated. I don't always have time for AIM RP so for the sake of accountability, guild RP is preferred but when the mood strikes me I might do and log an AIM RP. I love to plot but have the right to say no. I don't mean to offend but usually I'll assess things on a case by case basis based on what would fit my characters and if it would be considered in character. I love to also make pairings but also have the right to say no. However, if I do say no, it doesn't mean that I wouldn't like them to be part of my character's bob-romantic plots and side-plots in the future. If you would like offspring of a particular soquili and can come up with a good plot, I can make allowances for wishing star approvals such as surrogacy and things such as that.

Name: Akuba GenderMale Orientation: Demisexual About: My first soquili, much loved. The original version was done by Sirenz and the revamp was done by Vistada.
He's aged along with me. He started off as a young fella but now he's a silver fox enjoying his golden years. He mostly keeps to himself and his family unless someone looks like they're struggling. Akuba lives with his family herd (The Athenavinita Herd) who are neighbours to the Primrose Herd and former neighbours of the Miakoda Herd before they became Miakoda's Dawn.
He's old and Lawful Good and that means that he still has some old fashioned prejudices against some old breeds that were known for being stereotypically bad or evil. He has a hard time trusting them, it doesn't mean he'll go out of his way to attack them or be nasty but he will be cautious. It's not something that's set in stone because he's open to being proved otherwise in a safe way but he doesn't tend to stick around to figure out if he'll be attacked or not.
Akuba is actually scared of flutters, pixies, butterflies and moths and so tends to avoid them, he's tried to overcome his fears but it rattles him to the core.
Akuba's main occupation is director of a construction company which he founded himself, gradually over the years it grew and grew, he employs many familiars (raccoons, mice, etc) and soquili (clawed, flight capable or strong). His clientele include the ren faire reenactment herd, his workers service and check the tents and stands annually.
In his freetime he reads and seeks to understand more about life, he used to research alone until Aurynne came along and now they're like two peas in a pod. Akuba has developed some feelings for Aurynne but it's not returned in the same way, she's not a very lovey-dovey type like him and it's suspected that she may be aromantic. Akuba had a rocky relationship in the past that ended in a lot of heart break for both sides and so he's a bit wary about putting his heart into one basket, he loves a little more freely and has multiple partners. He's still quite guarded when it comes to who he shares his love with as he doesn't want to put himself in that situation ever again.

Plot / RP Time Line:
Basket - Foalhood Born Pops from her basket and is proven to be a bit of a handful with a hyperactive personality and a cookie way of thinking about the world. Tries to draw pictures of her family in the dust for her mother and learns knot tying and basics of teepee construction from her father. Feels slightly ridiculed and left out by siblings and her parents don't notice at first. Endures her brother's hallucinations and voices. Worries about him but he won't let her get close to him or understand. Accalon and Akuba's relationship breaks down and Akuba gets frustrated and then her parent's relationship breaks down and feeling fearful she runs away. Lives a pretty terrifying life as a lost foal but takes on her father's advice to not trust strangers.
Teenager to Adult Is eventually found by Akuba in her teenage phase and taken back to his teepee. Where he tells her of his worry and that he really missed her, what she's missed while being away Is watched over very closely by Akuba in hopes that she wouldn't run away again. Her father returns with two baskets and she is told that they are her new siblings. Stripe feels happy to have siblings and is glad that Akuba has finally learned to play with her with her but misses her mother a little bit. The baskets pop and stripe is a little bit confused about them having wings. Her mother never had wings and so Akuba tells her that they are actually half-siblings. When he tells her about the mare he was with Stripe starts to feel insecure about not being able to keep up with her new sibling until Akuba nudges her forward and calls her the big sister and lets her know what new responsibilities she would have as the big sister. After the pep talk, She feels like she can handle it. Her half-siblings grow seemingly a lot faster than her mentally. Stripe is still very chirpy and child-like but her siblings tolerate it because it's how she'd always been. Stripe befriends a stallion for the time who went by the name of Moam. She was one of the few who wasn't scared by him and saw him as a stallion with a brutal past. Eventually, she saw who was beneath the mask and her children were conceived (she didn't know what she was doing, as no-one told her this was how children were made! Oh dear lol.). Moam runs away worried that Stripe would have second thoughts about his appearance and stripe is left a little broken because he was the only friend she had outside of her family. Stripe grows in size and Akuba gently talks to her about how she might be pregnant. Stripe is astonished as she doesn't really know how children are actually made. Akuba is a little disappointed that he never got to meet the guy who had impregnated his daughter, he felt a mad that he'd run away like this but he supports her during this time. He also asks her if she'd done anything unusual in the past few months and Stipe gets a little bit shy recalling it in her mind but won't say , Akuba replies to her reaction telling her her that, that's how it happened. Stripe's children are born and Moam resurfaces, it turns out he was watching the whole time. He wants to take them traveling and stupidly Stripe agrees as she knows she's rooted to looking after family and allows him to take two of them for a short time. When he returns for the last time the baskets had popped, he returned with a son. When she asked where the other one was Moam went silent. Stripe was livid for the first time in her life that her baby was lost and she never saw him or her son ever again. Echo, her remaining child did not understand her mother's grief but comforted her in the way that foals do when they see their mothers cry. After this time Akuba and Sonnet were especially wary of Stripe's decisions. Stripe goes through a depression and her energetic personality dwindles a little. Stripe looks after Echo as they grow and eventually in turn Echo looks after their mother. A couple of years later she's back to having a spring in her step but not as large as it used to be. Stripe helps her father with his teepee and shelter business and meets Eeyore. She finally gets to put her skills to the rest and helps him with his house so it doesn't fall down easily. This encourages her to put Echo forward to learn from her father. Stripe meets Yumiko and is humbled by her kindness. She felt warm and fuzzy and couldn't stop thinking about her and yet she did not know too much about the mare yet. Stripe is starting to feel as if she is a foal again.
