Left: You head left, and hear not to far ahead, a sad moan that sends an actual chill up your spine. That was just a bit too authentic...

Full of candy he had recently acquired from his rove about campus, it was only natural that it was time to, well, LOOK FOR SOME MORE. But Wrex didn't feel like dressing up again just appease others for a measly portion of the stuff, so he took to wandering about, keeping an ear out for possible opportunities. As it turned out, he didn't need to sneak around to find secrets at all: there was a giant opportunity just waiting to be taken over.

The gnomes said something about the maze having a treasure at its center, but the boil was more content to try and nibble some of the corn. It wasn't so bad, if...bland...nothing quite like candy. Why wasn't this candy corn anyway? Stupid gnomes. But perhaps the treasure awaiting him would be something sweet? Well, there was only one way to find out.

Wrex dove on in, taking a left at the crossroads. Something moaned, though he took little notice of it. Maybe someone had a tooth ache...

Left: Taking a Left, you find yourself in a much colder path, the smell of coal and peppermint in the air. It's unsettling, but a train horn wails nearby.

Well, sucks for them!

Wrex took another left just to be sure, he didn't feel like dealing with bellyaching, metaphorical or literal. He was a HUNTER on the PROWL, got it? And if he got a treasure, he could show his family when he was allowed to visit, and they'd be proud, and he'd look like he was doing something, and yeah!!

It was starting to get a little chillier, though...He tucked his arms closer and walked onward, tilted forward and long tail out to balance him. He wasn't a big fan of the smells either...Maybe this had been a bad choice.

Ignore: Favoring to pass it by, you head further into the maze, encountering a very poorly dug..stream? Ditch? Moat? Either way it says you have to pay the fine.

It sounded a little like...a train? Wrex had never seen one but knew about it from other people, and he wasn't intending to sit in one for the rest of his journey; it would cheapen the experience. Besides, how the heck would they fit a train in here anyway?? So he chose to ignore the sounds and pressed on into the cold, shivering slightly. He took a nibble of corn in passing to fuel himself and made a face; minty flavored corn wasn't all that great of a taste.

Further into the maze, he came across what he supposed was supposed to be a river, though it looked more like a hole in the ground that happened to have water in it. Silly gnomes. Wrex squinted at the sign that said he had to pay.

Hop over this 'river' what a joke: Nothing happens. As you move on mushrooms illuminate the path, and flowers seem to be sprouting, humming a tune that is slightly haunting. Your vision is becoming a bit odd... Yet two paths emerge. One says West, the other says 'Weast'. A pair of gnomes in striped outfits stare at you. Do you ask for directions?

He then proceeded to scoff once he decoded what the words actually were. Pay a fine to do what exactly? He could hop cliffs, thank you very much! So Wrex jumped over the so-called stream set up and made his way onward, nostrils flared for more hints of where to go.

Instead, he found himself assaulted with more plants. It was to be expected he suppose, the whole maze was full of the stuff already, but this seemed even more thick of them than usual. Hell, he could hear some of the flowers actually humming, and it left a small patch of goosebumps on his arms as he passed them by. Wrex was used to to aggressive things, not...haunting things...He half expected something to come out and bop him on the nose. (A very sensitive spot, given that he was still hurt from bumping around doing office trick or treating earlier.)

Eventually he came to another fork, this time with helpful signs that read West and...Weast? Had he been hearing directions long all his life or something? Or was he reading it wrong? Hrm.

Yes: The pair of gnomes grin and as they give opposite directions... they get into a fight. You casually just... head west. Yet now you find yourself in front of a tea set. A cup says drink me, a plate says eat me. There is nothing IN the cup, nor anything ON the plate. What do you do?

Well, he supposed the best he could do at this point was ask for some directions. It wounded his pride to, though. At least nobody he knew would watch him approach the striped gnomes.

Warily so, to add. He still didn't like these tiny things by a longshot, especially if they had this sort of magic about them. He stared back and bared his teeth to show dominance (hopefully) as he asked, "Where go?"

Rather than get an answer, however, the pair of gnomes began to fight over where to point him. Snorting, Wrex let them scrabble over it as he just picked West, since he knew for sure that was a direction, and started to head through the maze some more.

Unfortunately for him, the significance of the tea set was lost on him; he had neither seen Wonderland nor participated in the student council's Underland event, so all he saw were devices of which to eat or drink, both of which he was thoroughly wanting to do after what seemed like hours wandering about.

Eat the plate: It tastes of sugar, and as you finish it off, you notice it was hiding a key. A nearby door appears, glowing softly, and behind it, you hear a childlike laughter. Unlocking it, you find your self facing a very cute treat with blond hair and a blue dress. It smells faintly like cookies, and with a smile the treat runs over and hands you a small rabbit plush pointing further down the path. Before you can react, the minipet is gone, yet the echo of laughter remains. The plush turns to dust in your hand and vaguely, you think something is seriously MESSED UP in this maze. Oh well. As you walk on you realize you have found the maze's center. (Final Ending)

Not a picky eater at all, Wrex was happy to consume the plate on its own and was pleasantly surprised to find it tasted of sugar. He was about to eat the cup as well when he noticed both a key and a door. Naturally, he had to investigate.

A treat waited behind it with, smelling of spookies, and he received a doll. Before he could try to eat it as well, the minipet pointed him somewhere and then disappeared, laughing softly as the plushie turned to ash in his mouth.

RUDE.

But whatever: one more door hopefully meant one more step closer to the center.

Having reached the center of the maze, you are given a golden ear. No, a literal ear. It's a waxy candy that smells like salsa and if one were to eat it... It tastes like a tortilla. Amazing. What's more amazing is that you can hear whispers all around your from fellow students. Let them try to sneak up on you now! (effect lasts 1 IC night)

And what do you know, it did! Wrex gleefully snatched his prize up.
