Does anyone here have a song they claim is their theme?

My mom says mine is Unwritten by Natasha Bedingfield.

I don't think I have a personal theme song, but my apartment's theme song is "Voulez Vous" by Abba.

Enjoy the Silence by Depeche Mode

Everything Falls Apart by Husker Du

Flowers by Rozz Williams

Save Yourself by Stabbing Westward

St. Vitus Dance by Bauhaus

And sometimes (depending on my mood xd ), it will be:

.

Great song, and a great song to have as your theme! Good for your mom ...

I guess my theme song, if I have one, would be Seasons of Love from "Rent":

Five hundred twenty-five thousand
Six hundred minutes,
Five hundred twenty-five thousand
Moments so dear.
Five hundred twenty-five thousand
Six hundred minutes
How do you measure, measure a year?

In daylights, in sunsets, in midnights
In cups of coffee
In inches, in miles, in laughter, in strife.

In five hundred twenty-five thousand
Six hundred minutes
How do you measure
A year in the life?

How about love?
How about love?
How about love? Measure in love

Seasons of love. Seasons of love

Five hundred twenty-five thousand
Six hundred minutes!
Five hundred twenty-five thousand
Journeys to plan.

Five hundred twenty-five thousand
Six hundred minutes
How do you measure the life
Of a woman or a man?

In truths that she learned,
Or in times that he cried.
In bridges he burned,
Or the way that she died.

It's time now to sing out,
Tho' the story never ends
Let's celebrate
Remember a year in the life of friends
Remember the love!
Remember the love!
Seasons of love!

Oh you got to got to Remember the love! remember the love,
You Measure in love know that love is a gift from up above Seasons of love.
Share love, give love spread love Measure measure your life in love.

Without a doubt, I choose:

Dead End Game by Koutara Tanaka

I'm sure everybody saw that coming 3nodding But it resonates with me because that's what I want to do; cast away my fears and inhibitions and start living my life with excitement.

Ever since I watched a clip of 'Wicked' during class...
I've felt that Defying Gravity was my song.
It's sort of a long song, so I'll just post the parts I feel best describe me.

Something has changed within me
Something is not the same
I'm through with playing by the rules
Of someone else's game
Too late for second-guessing
Too late to go back to sleep
It's time to trust my instincts
Close my eyes: and leap!

It's time to try
Defying gravity
I think I'll try
Defying gravity
And you can't pull me down!

I'm through accepting limits
'Cuz someone says they're so
Some things I cannot change
But till I try, I'll never know!
Too long I've been afraid of
Losing love I guess I've lost
Well, if that's love
It comes at much too high a cost!
I'd sooner buy
Defying gravity
Kiss me goodbye
I'm defying gravity
And you can't pull me down:

So if you care to find me
Look to the western sky!
As someone told me lately:
"Ev'ryone deserves the chance to fly!"
And if I'm flying solo
At least I'm flying free
To those who'd ground me
Take a message back from me
Tell them how I am
Defying gravity
I'm flying high
Defying gravity
And soon I'll match them in renown
And nobody in all of Oz
No Wizard that there is or was
Is ever gonna bring me down!

Along the same lines as Fishee, I think my theme song can come from "Wicked". It's the song "I'm Not That Girl".

Hands touch, eyes meet
Sudden silence, sudden heat
Hearts leap in a giddy whirl
He could be that boy
But I'm not that girl

Don't dream too far
Don't lose sight of who you are
Don't remember that rush of joy
He could be that boy
I'm not that girl

Ev'ry so often we long to steal
To the land of what-might-have-been
But that doesn't soften the ache we feel
When reality sets back in

Blithe smile, lithe limb
She who's winsome, she wins him
Gold hair with a gentle curl
That's the girl he chose
And Heaven knows
I'm not that girl.

Don't wish, don't start
Wishing only wounds the heart
I wasn't born for the rose and the pearl
There's a girl I know
He loves her so
I'm not that girl.

I could never pick a song from a musical as mine since the songs are written for the characters in the musicals and even if I could really to a T to one of the characters, I still couldn't see it as my own...if that makes sense at all.

My theme would probably be Inside Out by Eve6 which was what I said it was in middle school. Of course, everyone I know says it should be 1985 by Bowling for Soup. Well, they can get stuffed...

Ooh, 1985 would be a good song for me too... but I was born only half a year away from 1985, so I don't think it'd work...
