      [+] Kursha Vidari

Despite the incident with Leeroi's lusus, and the occasional twinge of pain from his bloodied leg, Kursha was in high spirits. He had weeded out the competition, obtained a vast amount of new information, and made an example out of the blueblood in front of nearly everyone, all in one fell swoop. With the back wall getting more and more crowded (Alifax's table not withstanding), he knew that they had just about found a solution. It would not be much longer before this thing was put to rest.

Kursha wandered through the dining hall, taking stock of everything he had already examined. The curtains, the window, the table... the table was an oinkbeast sty. His eyes roved over the scene, taking in the mess; scattered dinnerware, stray food, the rumpled tablecloth, tipped glasses... He knew it had not been that bad when he had addressed everyone with their mission. What the hell had everyone been doing? He clicked his tongue against his teeth. Other than that, nothing appeared to be out of the ordinary. Nothing to do here; nothing, unless he felt like playing maid. Ha.

Leaving the dining hall, Kursha moseyed towards the nutrition block. He had neglected it in his earlier search and it seemed like a good place to check out. Epratt had likely died due to poisoning judging from his lack of wounds, and while the source could have originated elsewhere, something useful could turn up. Leave no stone unturned, that was him.

Opening the door, Kursha startled upon seeing Puchen at the counter, eating a piece of cake. She looked equally startled to see him. Unable to help himself, Kursha gave her a wolfish grin.
“Hungry?” he asked. His cheek earned him a terse look. She obliged him anyway though.

“Hm...” Joining her, Kursha leaned back against the counter. He drummed his fingers over the marbletop. “So, did you and Schrad have any kind of special orders to carry out here?” He looked at the blueblood expectantly. Her response made his smile waver. He considered. Time to tally up a few points under Schrad's name.

“Change of subject. What's Comedi all about? He's practically...” He trailed off as Puchen's eyes grew wide. What the hell was that all about?

After she departed from Leeroi, Elidae wandered back to the Northern Outgrowth. Even while she was a good distance from him, she still felt a flutter, a skip in her step. "Princess" was a title never given to her; she was a lowblood, after all. However, this blueblooded boy was charming and sweet, although a little odd. Regardless, the attention from him was a nice change of tone.

Her intentions were to go back to the nutrition block to eat investigate that cake, however there was something she needed to do first. Quietly, she read the note Leeroi handed to her as she ambled across the block, her brow furrowed and lips twitching into a frown. She stopped walking. This was... important information? Much more important than her own. Turning the note over, then back again, and rereading it, she questioned if this was dangerous information to have on hand. Maybe someone she knew would make better use with it? Heaving out a slow and steady breath, Elidae folded the note back up, looking up at her surroundings.

The whole block was in complete disarray, and empty. Remembering the commotion from earlier, Elidae suddenly felt a twinge of frustration. Wasn't this night supposed to be fun? She kept asking herself that all night, over and over, without realizing that constant thought created a disappointment difficult to subdue. She supposed it wasn't all that bad, considering she made made friends with a beautiful seadweller with bouncy curls, and an endearing blueblood she immediately grew fond of. And then there was Kursha, a troll she knew she would see again, yet somehow felt astonished to find him alive and well. She still wanted to talk to him, but tonight seemed impractical to share conversation without the culling screaming from every angle. Everyone was on edge. Including herself.

Walking again, she appeared at the scene were the seadweller had spent his last moments. A chill ran down her spine. Creepy. Running her hand along the edge of the table, she felt the smoothness of the tablecloth, then found that it was messily pulled down to the floor. There was a chair there, the one where Epratt had sat. Hm. Suddenly, she popped her head down underneath, squinting and making sure she got a good, hard look. Slowly, she came back up. Before she moved on, she paused, gazing at the dinnerware still placed on the surface, though everything seemed misplaced. Silently, she picked up a steak knife, unused. She peered at it closely for a few moments, before stabbing it down into the table, cutting through the tablecloth and digging into the wood below. A small, strained laugh. "Oops."

Pacing, Elidae then held an engrossed gaze to the floor, biting on her nails. Anxiety was bubbling up within her. The mess was curious enough to stare at for a while and created a short distraction, but she soon reverted back to thinking. When would this be over? When could she go back to New Hemisect? Who is the killer? Will we ever find the killer? Why did this have to happen- crunch. Looking down, Elidae found broken glass to be littered across the floor. For a moment, she stared, watching the pieces glitter in a daze. Then she followed the moonlight.

Holding her arms with the note in one hand, Elidae gazed out the window with wide eyes, expression pensive. Outside, there really wasn't much she could make out, except for some shrubbery and shadows. A cool breeze made her rub her arms lightly, though she felt a strange comfort from the chilling sensation. She took a deep breath through her sniff node. It had only been a few hours, but being locked inside this hive felt like an eternity and some parts of the hive felt dingy and stale, as well as the trolls within its walls. Elidae welcomed the fresh air wholeheartedly.

Closing her eyes, she relished at the thought of being home in her well-lit hive, cuddling up to her lusus and watching her favorite movies.

Eridia headed east after the whole information spill. Giddy and sad altogether, she looked for clues to add them to her pile. Maybe she could even eat something at the Nutrition block, she was starving! The once spotless Dining block was a mess. The glass on the floor glittered beautifully. Her eyes trailed back to the chair, the one the dead sat lively before his final moments. She sighed, drowning herself in deep thought. Now, where to put it?

Then she spotted Elidae lost in her own little world, eyes closed. That was a strange way to look out the window. But she had to admit, the fresh air smelt delicious. She wondered what was going on that little thinkpan of hers. The child examined her for a few more seconds, she noticed she had something. Well wouldn't hurt to find out right?

"Hey." She said delicately, yet strong enough to get her out of such state. "Mind if I join you?" Eridia smiled as she took off one of her gloves, fingers trailing the window. She joined the yellowblood before waiting for her reply and admire the scenery. Lush and green, and mostly dark. "I miss the fresh air so much don't you?" She mumbled, her gaze lowered slightly as she breathed some air. She smirked a bit and got a bit closer to the other. Senses tingled wildly again was what up with everyone feeling all quadrant-ish tonight? Then the thought struck her.

"Saw you with Leeroi earlier... You seem to get along well."

Elidae hadn't noticed Eridia coming up beside her, startling when she said something. "Oh, goodness! You scared me. Hello, Eridia!" She let out a nervous laugh. Giving her a wary glance, she stepped to the side to allow Eridia a better view out the window, ultimately humming in agreement. The softness of her voice was a sharp contrast to her shrill screaming in defense for Gerard Rutven earlier in the evening, as well as her strange behavior towards Kursha. She had not forgotten. Instinctively, Elidae's fingers curled around the note in her hand, attempting to conceal it from Eridia's vision.

Sponge clots perking at the mention of the blueblood, an immediate color of yellow tinted her cheeks, pumpbiscuit fluttering again. She saw them talking? "Leeroi?" Elidae echoed, looking at the purpleblood in surprise. Eridia referred to him by his first name. Did she know him? Taking a chance, she unwittingly pressed Eridia for information with an excited smile.

"Do you know him? Please, tell me more about him!"

Eridia noticed the other's fingers curl slightly. Whatever Elidae had was important to her. Luckily the lowblood beamed when she mention that horrible excuse of a highblood. Eridia smiled. Just like a little fish, Elidae was caught on a hook, her hook. All the child had to do was reel her in slowly and painfully shatter every little detail she had of him. "Woooow, guess this whole mystery extravaganza did turn us all into rowdy investigators." She chuckled and looked outside again, deeply sighing. She was just doing her job as an unmatchmaker but it felt different. She wasn't attempting to break them off indirectly.... She was trying to cut the thread herself before it strengthened.

"Elidae... The way you first approach a troll determines whether they'll show you a mask a mask of themselves." She mumbled, looking at her with dull and saddened eyes as she fixed her hair. "Ever wonder why I don't always speak like this? They lie about who they are. I am a troll who can't stand watching others act like someone they are not."

"Leeroi is not who he seems to be." Eridia cleared her throat. Memories of the not-so-distant past flooded in. When they first met, the swamp, the aftermath. Her hands slightly trembled and her breathing patter paced up a bit. She reaclled the things she saw in him and the othings he listed about him in her diary. "Now I can tell you that he is brave, to the point that he's stupid. But he is.... Leeroi's destructive. Highly destructive. He's the type who forces you between two lines. One behind you and another in front. The area outside represents his wrath. Step out of either and... heh... he might hurt you the worst ways you can imagine. He's like Kursha, step out of the line and again... same result."

Eridia grabbed her hand and started pulling her away from the window. She was gentle again, as if they were just going to take a nice walk. "All I'm saying is that they didn't do anything because they wouldn't dare to show those same colors... unless you piss them off. Which is really easy."

"You know.. I think I saw them fight up central... It's unfair how they trick you and hide their true selves from you Eli."

Tamiya crept into the Northern Outgrowth. What a mess. She took care to pick up her robes before trailing over the broken glass, taking note of the two girls by the window as she passed. Just talking. Poor children, so young. Such death. With a pause, Tamiya considered the mess of the block. While most of it was unsalvageable, the coats were looking quite sad slung all about. She set to work folding them. There were many important guests’ coats here – even the victim. It would be a shame if someone were to… Stick their hand in… And find some incriminating information. There were plenty of coats after all, no one would miss anything. Tamiya dug around in the pile before feeling as though she was outstaying her welcome.

She sniffed and slunk into the Nutrition Block and took a deep breath. Mm. Better, more familiar. A tall greenblood was already present; she'd recognize him anywhere. Before she strode over to him, Tamiya observed the rotating spice rack. She spun it like a carousel for a while, saying a short prayer.
She casually inserted a silo of salt into the bust of her robes.
After she was satisfied, Tamiya acknowledged Puchen. She could respect a military woman against the rebel opposition who apparently liked cake. She was tempted to ask for a slice, but remembered an important proverb: “Don’t Mix Cake and Pie in a Punchline, b***h” – Spuddzz, 3:12. She offered a stiff nod and slunk over to Kursha, leaning on the counter as she did. She peered into the sink and over at the knife block, appraising the room as she looked at him sidelong.

“Kursha. Or would you prefer Vidari? Or a special surprise? It is with great mirth that we meet again.” Tamiya announced. She gestured whimsically with her metal fingers, her sort of bow. Kursha, like her, was a driven leader. And like her his efforts in war were mixed. Like Puchen, too. What a trio they made. Captains of fruitless pursuits against the same enemy, only one had been buried for her efforts. Kursha was lucky. Puchen allowed for an entire metropolis to be built, but she stepped on highblood toes. Kursha trapped some vermin in the woods. Either way, here was a troll who followed his pump biscuit to new heights. Tamiya idly slipped her fingers into her kimono above where her knife was stored.

Strangely enough, when you look out the window you notice a camera hidden in a topiary outside. It appears to be facing towards the Dining Block.

Act like someone they’re not. What was she talking about? As Eridia continued to speak, however, Elidae's usual sunny smile vanished. Her tone of voice felt strange and out of character, but the little yellowblood held onto every word the purpleblood said like sap. Leeroi is not who she thinks he is. Destructive. Wrath. Hurt. Like Kursha. Same result.

Wait, what?

Giving Eridia an incredulous stare, Elidae was shocked. What was she implicating? What did Kursha have to do with any of this? How was he related to Leeroi?

"A-a-a… a fight?" Between Kursha and Leeroi? Her eyes narrowed. With her gaze cast to the floor, a deep confusion set in. While she didn't quite know either of them, both had been nothing but cordial, if not nice to her. But then was Eridia being nice?

"Why are you... telling me all this..." She murmured, bottom lip trembling. She didn't respond after a few moments, keeping her head low and away from Eridia to conceal her distress, feeling the sharp prickling sensation of tears threatening to spill.

Then, as if springing back to life, Elidae animatedly perked her head up with an eerily cheerful expression.

"I need to go!" She gave the girl's hand a tight squeeze. "I appreciate what you're trying to do here, Eridia, thank you. Really." Trying to sound as genuine as she was capable, Elidae let her hand slip out of Eridia's, then brought it in close to her chest as if welcoming it back. "But I am going to take my leave now. Y'know, investigate some more. Gotta find that murdererrr. Hah, haha." Laughing awkwardly, it took all her willpower to mustered up a cute grin and a wave for Eridia, hoping it was friendly enough. "I'll see you around~"As soon she turned away from the purpleblood, Elidae quickened her pace to a quick jog. Escape. Escape. Escape. Once out of sight, warm tears streaked down her cheeks.

Chiara. Adamaz’s mouth was a straight line. “I was invited because I captured a rebel,” he stated flatly. The better question was what was she doing here, but Adamaz was not interested in hearing Chiara speak. His new orangeblood friend was much better company. The dump was significantly better than this party and everything in it in every way, except probably for the contents of the thermal hull. Papa Roach was tugging on his curls. It was time to go.

“I’m gonna go. You can come with me. Or not. Not you though.” He said to Nahori, then Chiara respectively. Adamaz was done here. He decided to walk to the West Outgrowth. There was a Library there, and he couldn’t read any of the books, so it would be a good place to sit quietly and meditate.

      [+] Kursha Vidari

In the middle of Puchen's response, Kursha heard the door open. He glanced over to see an elegantly dressed purpleblood slip in with the trademark face paint of the juggalo cult. Curious. She arrived almost as though she had been summoned by her patron's name. Despite the soft jingle of the bells adorning her outfit, and the gentle clop of her sandals, she moved in near silence. He watched her as she spun the spice rack, then looked back to his conversation partner. Curiouser.

When Puchen finished, Kursha drifted away, pausing to examine the garbage disposal and several drawers. He had caught the blueblood glance his way once or twice and thought he would make himself look more available in case she was skittish. Sure enough, a moment later the purpleblood approached him, moving in that same creeping gait. Turning to face her as she addressed him, Kursha hooked his thumbs in his pockets and leaned against the counter. He crossed his left leg over his right, the toe of his boot resting on the floor.

“And what kind of surprise would that be?” he responded with a wink. His grin widened. “Sorry, you've got my name, but I don't think I know yours. Anyway, Kursha's fine.” As he spoke, he took in the details of her appearance: her sweeping movements, the red tinge to the edges of her eyes, the several metal fingers attached to her hand. Most curious.

Elidae's reactions were as expected. She couldn't just accept it could she? As if Eridia was wholeheardedtly lying, those two idiots were like that! Eridia squeezed her hands to contain her glee as the yellowblood took her leave. That laugh, her pace... She had Elidae right where she wanted, sort of. This direct approach was all new for her and it felt so good! Eridia twirled after she left, no wonder father enjoyed telling her the truth face to face. The highblood knew she had to keep on stabbing her wounded pump biscuit until it gave in... until she became a hollow shell of herself. Eridia snapped back to reality. Back to what's important.

"What is pity?" She mumbled to herself as her gloved hands took the knife. Its shine reflected on half of her malicious face. Eridia gave it a few twirls, her newfound love for blades was noticeable. "After all my observations Father, I think it is quite simple." Eridia made the crevice deeper and proceeded to examine the sideboard. Seemed like the only item that was left untouched.

Is it my dear? He said with a smile, watching her examine the object. You still have a lot to learn but I do want to know your interpretations child.

"Certainly." Eridia looked over and under the sideboard and checked for any marks and cervices on it while she resumed talking to her lusus. "Pity is something that temporarily enhances our lives. Whether in its heights and in its depths." She couldn't help but chuckle a bit as she checked the its contents inside yet it was unlikely something was hidden here. "Hmmmm.... I guess it has as few problems."

Problems? Do you mean the sideboard?

"Daaaad, I'm talking about her. Poor thing was totally out of it!" At least she did her a favor. Eridia crossed her arms while she knelt down and investigated once more. "She thinks that just by fluttering your eyes and acting all nice will make everything peachy! Can't she see how such things creates a veil that only projects your fantasies?" Eridia decided to put the pill inside the sideboard and stood up, dusting herself off. She looked for the note she had written before and added a few things like 'finish the job'. The note would incriminate them for good.
Do you not posses the same illusions the child has my dear?

"Of course not."

What about Rutven?

Eridia stayed silent. What was he implying? Her eyes were peeled on the note, out of rage, she crumbled and ripped it to shreds carefully. Eridia wanted the words to be identified.
"Mister Rutven--"

Might be involved and you know it. Lovedad interrupted.

"He. Is. Not." Eridia was stubborn at that fact, she wasn't going to believe it until she saw it. Eridia clenched her fists and looked at her lusus filled with rage. The highblood was sick and tired of the accusations and decided to leave the North Outgrowth before her father could continue blaspheming Gerard. Before she left, Eridia placed the piece of paper which said 'job' near the area and allowed the other pieces to blow freely with the wind. Her job here was done.

Tamiya smiled and cocked her head. “A moniker fit to a troll of your standing, crafted by my own shitslicing tongue.” She explained. “I am Tamiya Aiguma. I fought under you previously during the ******** Phoenix Initiative raid and slippery capture effort. It is a cartwheeling, caterwauling joy to finally make your official acquaintance.”

She swept her arm to the side and tapped her fingers on the counter. While she was investigating she might as well converse with the greenblood – his reputation preceded him, and he was at the least intriguing by virtue of capriciousness. Tamiya produced her sharp blade and quietly slid it into the knife block.

“What are your thoughts concerning this most unholy night?” She inquired.
