Kaipo was light on his toes. He had only been in this new pack a short period of time but it already felt like home. This wasn't to say he didn't miss him mom and dad and siblings but here he was able to feel like he was of use here, even if he was still pretty young.

He assumed that things were easier for him it wasn't like he came to this pack all on his own a brother had come with him. They were living this life together. Thinking of his brother he began to look around for the burnt orange pelt that belonged to Lukav.

Lukav stretched, pulling himself from a small nap he had been taking by the river. He was comfortable in his new home, and being with his brother only made it better. They had accidentally found family here as well, but he had only glimpsed the other, really, since she was always gone as far as he could tell.

He yawned, looking around. He wasn't quite sure what to do with himself at the moment. He was still learning the traditions of the pack along with his brother. The pack was small though, near destroyed with the landslide he had made note of.

It didn't take him long to spot the bright colors of his brother's pelt - he was by far the most colorful of the pack, Lukav thought. "Kaipo!" He called out, hoping to draw his brother's attention

Kaipo's head popped up at the sound of his name. A grin spread across his lips when he saw it was his brother calling out to him. Though he shoudn't be too surprised it wasn't as if anyone else in the pack really knew his name as of yet.

He trotted over towards his brother his tail wagging. "Lukav" he greeted him warmly giving his brother a quick nuzzle. "What are you up to today?" Kaipo wondered how his brother was adjusting to the life here in the pack. Every once in awhile Kaipo knew that he had twinges of missing his mom, and he was still working on learning all about the pack and their ways. He did however love taking care of the waters. One place Kaipo always felt comfortable was when his bright blue paws were firmly panted in the cool flowing waters.

Lukav grinned, nuzzling his brother in return. "I just woke up," he said honestly, if not a bit sheepishly. "But I was gonna explore a bit. Did you wanna come?" He asked cheerfully. Lukav's job was to make sure all the festivals and events were scheduled properly. Since he was the only one in his rank, all of it fell to him alone. Luckily, nothing had come up yet, but if there was no one else, all the year's events would fall to him.

It stressed him out a little, but he was sure he could manage.

Kaipo smiled, it wasn't all that surprising that his brother would have been napping. When Lukav mentioned exploring it lit a spark within Kaipo. The male use to love exploring the fields and forest around where he use to call home. The chance to explore was exciting.

"Yes lets go. I've already taken care of the shrine today. It should be good until this evening." he said excited that he was stepping up and doing his job so well. Really he was just happy to muck around in water, even if it was only part of the shrine that he kept.

"Where would you like to go? You lead the way!" he said excitedly his tail wagging just like he was a pup again.

Lukav wasn't even quite sure what he wanted to do. He knew a pack lived further up the mountain, but he wondered just how far up. They were quite separated in territory, so he was told, but he wanted to see for himself. "We should go up there," he gestured up towards some cliffs over their lands. It wasn't quite all the way up the mountains, but it would probably take quite a hike to get there.

"What do you think?"

Nessiaing
Kaipo looked up the mountain side. He had been curious about the other pack that ived up there. Plus the mountain side was so different from what he was use to from the forest he lived with his family before hand.

"Lets go!" Kaipo said full of energy and excitement. He began to trek up the hillside just at the base of the mountain.

"Its going to be a tough climb I think." Kaipo said looking back to his brother, the brightly coloured wilddog didn't want to admit it but he was out of shape.

Seaki
Lukav gave a grin, trotting alongside his brother. Unlike Kaipo, Lukav was all over the place and running constantly, so he was probably a bit more in shape. He was excited though, and he was sure the trek would become far more intense as they climbed.

He grinned at his brother. "I'll race you," He said, before dashing off. He didn't go too far ahead though, wanting to at least stay with his brother for the hike.

Nessiaing
Kaipo grunted as his brother suggested the race, he knew there was no way he would be able to win. He tried though and he forced all his energy down into his legs as he sprinted in an attempt to keep up with his brother.

It was a decent hike but soon they were nearing the top. Kaipo's ears perked listenng for the noises of other dogs near by, he had heard they were a friendly pack but that didn't mean they would like two teen males coming gallopping into their lands.

"I think we should slow down now... maybe they have a guard that will greet us." Kaipo said his eyes peeled for a friendly face.

Seaki
Lukav gave a small laugh as he slowed down, panting a bit as he came up next to his brother. "Well, that was fun," He grinned. They would definitely take it slower on the way back down. They came up here to explore, not to run. That was enough running for one day.

"Maybe!" He told his brother. "We can check it out and then go back home," he said, walking towards the other pack's lands.
