...That it would be so exciting to feel normal?

I just had my first bite of Honey Nut Cheerios in over 6 years today, and it was the most satisfying thing. I was never a huge fan of them before I went gluten free, but now that my cereal options are severely limited (meaning Chex, Chex, some weird organic brand you've never heard of that charges $6 for a tiny box in the because-you're-special aisle, or Chex), something "new" and NORMAL tastes like heaven! Super glad they decided to make all of their oats GF now; that was seriously the only ingredient that made it unsafe for people like me, and it was only because the oats were processed by the same equipment as wheat.

And the even better news?

Lucky Charms is also on its way to being GF! emotion_yatta They're anticipating the new batches to hit store shelves around October...

I honestly can't remember the last time I had cereal... my carbs of choice are usually bread, potatoes, pasta, and sometimes rice. The demand for gluten free has sky-rocketed in the past few years. Personally, I think they should work not only on incorporating more types of whole grains, but also lower sugar cereals...
