Senshi Rai
[ HP: 300 | SE: 120 | Clarity: 50 ]

If having not seen it herself, Izumi would have never believed the amount of destruction down to the town while they where facing off against Dhuma's guardians in her castle domain. Her gloved grip tightens as she balls up a fist and looks down across the ravaged lands, "Wh-who would do something like this?" She had spoken aloud but at the same time to herself... Her emerald green gaze taking in the amount of devastation racking the surrounding land. "It was bad when Dhuma attacked the town center... far worse, but who would welcome its spread." Once more she spoke broken heartedly to herself, though out loud. This was unacceptable and it took a great coward to attack the defenseless while a graver threat lurked on the horizon. "Mizu~! Lets go clear up city. It looks like they need our help..." She would smile sweetly to the blue haired cutie, as she leap off where she was standing a pretty much skated down into the residential district below. Unknown if her presence would be a hinderance or a welcome respite, Senshi Rai landed gracefully on the ground. "Mizu.. help use your power to aid the wounded." She took point snapping her outstretched, gloved fingers as sturdy oaken roots and saplings helped lift large debris. As her plants worked to free bodies and people, so to would she using her transformed strength to lift and clear out the remaining large rubble.

Yaju stepped into the residential area of Karakura town and looks about at the destruction. He had felt it when the hollows had entered the world, but had known that they were way out of his league and would have killed him. But he could help clean up and rebuild afterwards. He made his way into the streets, clearing bits of rubble here and there and checking on the bodies he came across. A sadly high number of them were dead. Definitely the work of opportunistic hollows. He had no idea what that pressure near the center of town had been, but these hollows had clearly used it for cover in what they did. As he makes his way through the streets, he sees a roots moving large pieces of debris and a girl who looks to be commanding them. She looks to be around his age as well. He startles slightly at this, not expecting that to be something he would come across. But it made him glad that others were helping clear this up. He walks up to her and waves hello. β€œAnything I can help with in cleaning this up?”

She nods slowly, raising an eyebrow still before moving on. The woman would hum a little. "Things happen and they are sad.....but we have to keep looking forward because we cannot let what happen change the past...but we can change the present." Rowan spoke lightly as she saw the spirits, a tone of sadness in her voice. "It is a shame all this happened...but we are still alive and can help repair the damage, correct?"

Her eyes then looked to Suri gently, almost as if she were testing him. "It is better to give than to take..." She spoke before slowly walking a bit more to be in front of him, as if to let him think on his actions. Her eyes would then focus on something in the distance. A person lifting up the rubble with what seemed like roots. The woman tilted her head and blinked before beginning to walk towards the girl.

User ImageAkasha had been sleeping when the destruction started. Of course, her parents were concerned about earthquakes, not knowing about the paranormal threat that loomed in this town. She had stayed with her parents, more out of a sense of responsibility than concern. Hollows had no reason to come after them, and she wasn’t spiritually developed enough for it to matter much that she was near them. When the shaking had stopped, and the destruction was over, Akasha was thankful that her own family’s apartment had been spared of any damage. When her parents had gone to sleep, she snuck out to walk around the town.

The destruction was worse than she imagined. She passed ruined buildings, and weeping newly-made widows. Her heart went out to those people who had been unlucky enough to lose their loved ones. She did what she could to help clean up the mess, though her contribution was small, simply moving some rubble, or just helping to console a scared child.

Akasha constantly scanned the horizon, as if a hollow was going to suddenly appear and continue the destruction. Luckily, no such hollow made itself know. The damage seemed to be as bad as it was going to get. All that was left to do was to pick up the pieces of the town and rebuild.

She paid special attention to the explanations the mundane people had for the destruction. Most of them could not see hollows, and so it had appeared as if the buildings were falling of their own accord. Some people blamed gas leaks, others earthquakes. There seemed to be great confusion about what exactly had transpired here. There would likely be confusion for sometime.

In the short time she had lived in Karakura, she had encountered hollows only a small handful of times. She had been quick to get out of there, knowing her skills were not enough to take on a hollow on her own. She hoped there was not one lurking around the corner, waiting to devour her.

Senshi Rai
[ HP: 300 | SE: 120 | Clarity: 50 ]

Having not heard back from her ally, Senshi Mizu, the green clad senshi kept on working till interrupted by a bystander. Her emerald eyes looking up to the male in the suit before her. Grinding her green boot into the rubble, Rai stands tall, heroic, with a cheerful grin on her face. "I do not know your capabilities, Sir. Do what you can, but try not to over tax yourself." This male wore a suit to a place that needed restoration. "Um... Mizu, the girl in blue, is setting up a place for healing, and I am clearing rubble. So Pick your poison and move out." She was quick to kick off the ground and sails over him before landing gracefully in an area that called for the roots to left several heavy pieces of cement and plaster. Once more her vivid green gaze looks up to spot a pretty, dark haired woman still in her pajamas... perhaps someone that had lost her home recently? She was a ways in distance, so it was harder to make out her appearance.

Suri listens to Rowan speak about how sad it is that so many died, but that we couldn’t linger on the past. Which is true. One should not linger on the past, as it can interfere with the present. β€œYes, we can help repair the damage. Help fix up the homes of these poor people.” She then follows up with the second part, to which he very carefully keeps a neutral expression. He follows her, until he sees what is clearly someone manipulating roots, and stops dead in his tracks. This stunned him more than any spirit or hollow ever had. He had never seen anything like that. He stands slightly behind Rowan and watches the girl control the roots.

Yaju nods and bows respectfully to the young woman. β€œI am not much for healing, but I believe I can help clear the rubble.” He sets to clearing the rubble around the area, checking to see if there is anyone hurt underneath the rubble, and checking each time to make sure what he was about to move wouldn’t cause further collapse. He also notices the man in a white suit and hat, minus the suit’s jacket, and a woman in a set of pajamas, but additionally covered up with a white suit jacket and cape that matches the man’s outfit.

Rowan would continue moving forward until she realized there was a group of people there. She glanved about, looking to each one. The one dressed in green had a green hue around her. Which meant she was highly spiritually aware of things. That made the woman tilt her head. She looked...familiar. But in the darkness, Rowan couldn't make out her face. Her eyes then glanced to Suri, who had been with her this entire time who had a blue color to him. He was much stronger than her in his ability, but thats how she knew he was capable of seeing the little ghost boy. The other person, however, was a purplish blue color. More blue than purple. Her eyes seemed to focus on each person there for the moment before she took a breath.

"Are...you in need of assistance? We could help...perhaps?" She said, walking closer to the group. "My companion and I are available to aid, if needed....the more people the better, correct?" She then gave a light smile towards the young girl in the uniform.

User ImageAkasha looked around nervously at the destruction, not sure what to do next. There were a million places that could use her help, but she could only be in one place at a time. For a time, she just stood on the sidewalk, looking around, overwhelmed. However, she had to do something. She began picking up the rubble, piling it up where there were already deliberate piles. The cleanup of Karakura had begun.

Akasha couldn’t shake the feeling that something wicked was going to come out of the shadows and begin wreaking havoc on the people here. She found herself looking over her shoulder every few seconds, half-expecting a hollow to be standing there, ready to tear her apart. Luckily, she was only jumping at shadows, as she often did.

Suddenly, the back of her neck tingled in a familiar way that signalled the presence of spiritual beings. She wheeled around to see a woman, dressed similarly to her, but perhaps in a little more mature of a way. Akasha recognized her as one of her favorite teachers. She had long recognized her as a spiritual being. Akasha was one of the few students that was aware of spiritual energy and the like, and had recognized her teacher as being of a heavy spiritual presence. She had never asked her about it, or even really spoken to her at all. She had only been in school here for a month or so before the summer began, and had not been given the chance to make any friends, or even ingratiate herself to a favorite teacher.

”Ms. Blaire! I’m glad you’re ok.” She called, in english.

Those were the first words she ever spoke to Ms. Blaire.

✦The pride one has in their own image is very important, it allows for a great level of confidence in oneself to exist in both their appearance and actions. Usually, one who holds their self image in great esteem does what they can to uphold it, so that others are made aware of it and can appreciate its glory just the same. One of these very people was Yuusei Inui, a delinquent of Karakura who had made himself known among more rebellious circles. Infamous for getting into many brawls with other delinquents, ones that were his peers, younger than him, and even older than him, Yuusei quickly climbed atop the delinquent food chain in Karakura town with his strength and guts alone. It took quite a while for him to reach this point, having gotten beaten in every fight he threw himself into during middle school, but his rage for his circumstances would empower him, quickly learning how to fight and growing from it. All of this would be the catalyst for his self image, a strong and rebellious spirit who did whatever he wanted whenever he wanted. However he wasn’t necessarily a delinquent that enjoyed being a nusiance to the town’s people, rather part of the reason why he became a delinquent was to do them good that the law couldn’t. After seeing the ways it could be manipulated, the young man decided to stick with his own justice rather than the one created by the law. He would fight those that gave undeserving people trouble, he would help people with odd jobs when they couldn’t get it done themselves, and even get involved in fights to defend someone in trouble, even if it seems like they wouldn’t have much issue fighting by themselves. His reason for doing these things was because he had claimed Karakura Town as his turf and to Yuusei, this meant it was a part of his image, which meant any harm to come to it would be a smudge on that image. He couldn’t afford such a thing, as that was where most of his pride was and he had to protect it. He wanted to do his best for the town, to protect it with the strength he’s acquired over the years and to do what was right based on his own sense of justice.

Which was why he was particularly furious over the chain of destruction brought to his town by what seemed like monsters. The young man had always been aware that odd things were active in this world, he had seen the spirits of the dead and silhouettes of monsters as well, but he never really went out of his way to interact with them. He figured the living shoulder would worry about the living, the dead should worry about the dead, monsters should worry about monsters, and so forth. He didn’t really have any reason to think otherwise unless they were causing trouble on his turf. There had been a few times where he attempted to chase after a spirit or a monstrous silhouette as it sounded like they were causing trouble, but before he could reach them, they would always be gone. It was an annoying endeavor, how he could never catch up to them, but he figured perhaps the problem was dealt with, or something made them leave, as they weren’t the only supernatural things he could sense or had witnessed. If he found whoever caused all of this, he would have to make them pay for every inch of destruction and death they caused, monster or no. With an annoyed grumble, Yuusei would get to work, helping people get out of their homes by pushing what debris his human body was capable of, helping the injured to the necessary areas, and moving debris out of the way for vehicles to come through. Some of the tasks were easier than others, he was more used to fighting than fixing things, but he would do his best to manage.

He had spotted several other people at work as he helped with the effort, a bit of a glare coming to his face as he could sense something about a few of them. Yuusei figured a monster was likely behind this level of destruction, but perhaps it could have been people with abnormal power like his; he knew he was different from other humans, that he wasn’t natural compared to them. He never bothered bringing it up to anyone as he figured it shouldn’t consume his identity, why should it? He was a man that simply wanted to uphold the image he made for himself while living by his own justice. If there was something different about him, then it was a part of that image, he had pride in it, but he saw no point in sharing that unless he could with someone similar to him. Indeed he was well aware of what made him different, he had felt and exhibited strange abilities before, he even used them sometimes to help with his day to day life, but never in fights with regular people, even if some of his usual opponents made it tempting simply out of aggravation. Perhaps if these people were behind this, Yuusei would have to use the abilities he had against them. There was of them than him however, meaning there would be a distinct disadvantage were he to fight them all. But he wasn’t one to run from a potential fight, rather if he beat them all, if they were the villains responsible, his image would only become greater. However, for all he knew they were in no way involved in this and were trying to help. Normally, he would confront them right away about whether or not they had involvement here, but helping the people that couldn’t help themselves came first. Yuusei would continue to put work into where he could apply it effectively, giving the others that gave him suspicion the occasional glancing glare.

The woman would then turn, hearing her name and smiling lightly. Akasha was one of her students that seemed to gravitate towards her. Then again, so did all the students. That's how those silly rumors got started about her eating children's souls. In any case, it was good to see that the young teen was all right. "Akasha! It is so good to see you are all right!" She exclaimed, moving over to open her arms for the student. Rowan had always had a soft spot for her students and this was no difference. Her eyes focused on the aura around her student. Purple. Like most of the other students that she had seen. Well...at least the ones who she knew were normal.

Her eyes then went towards the other male wo was there. He looked familiar but because he was so far away, she couldn't figure out who it was. But he was one of the ones who had a blue aura around him, which meant he shared the same strength as her and some of the others in the group that stood in the residential district. Her attention went back to the group. "So...are we going to work on cleaning everything up then?"

Yaju calls out to the librarian after the other woman had already done so. β€œAh, I thought that you looked like you Ms. Blaire.” He greets her with a bow before returning to clearing rubble. β€œPerhaps you might want to not be in this area, it is a little dangerous.” He also watches his fellow student. He had seen her in the halls before, but didn’t have any classes with here and doesn’t know her name. He then notices a glare burning a hole in his back, and turns to see another of his fellow students. He knows of this one by reputation. Yuusei Inui, a strong fighter, and often seen as a delinquent. Yaju didn’t hold that opinion though. You hear of things normal people didn’t when you moved in the circles that a shinobi did, and in those circles Yuusei had a reputation of helping the normal folk. With violence yes, but still helping none the less. He gives a nod to Yuusei and then returns his focus back to his work.

Suri watches as two people introduce themselves to Rowan. By their age, he guesses they are students at the school she works at. He then turns to the girl manipulating the roots. β€œOf course, I will gladly aid in clearing the destruction that has been wrought here.” He gives a flourish of a bow, with a wide sweep of his hat that ends with it back on his head. He has shifted from worrying about his companion back to his normal, intentionally irritating persona. He then helps with moving rubble, seemingly carrying more in his arms than he should be able to fit his hands around. He feels a glare burning a hole in his back, and turns to see what looks like yet another student who was giving the occasional glare to each person. He smirks, and decides to have some fun. β€œYou there. If you keep glaring at everyone like that, we are going to think you dislike us or something. Or is that just your default expression.” He gives a grand sweep of his arms to the others as he speaks in a faintly mocking tone.

The horror. She was about to get her target when suddenly two hollows appeared and started causing distruction. She quickly darted into a nearby building, with the small thing screaming in her ear. She had luckily managed to find shelter but she was scared for her life. She had read that the Eastern Soul Society and the human world that was used as the entrance, had a strong aura that caused hollows to appear more often, but these hollows are nothing what she thought they would be.

Usually hollows didn't have such strong spiritual pressure that they would be able to cause such destruction, and usually a Eastern Soul reaper can handle some of them, but they were different, stronger. It was lucky they didn't see her, for they would have attacked, but it was also unluckily for her, as her hiding place was hit by one of the blasts, causing the building to collapse on her and a piece of rubble to smack her in the head, leaving her unconscious.

It was only recently that she was roused from her unconscious state by a small creature buzzing in her ear, spreading small whispers that she would only know. Buried in a good size rubble heap, she could see that the stick that she had carried had managed to redirect most of the rubble away from her, thus only covering her slightly in dust, though she was still trapped under the wall. She slowly pushed what rubble covered her, trying to be careful to not disrupt anything that would cause the rest of the wall to fall on her. The creature began again speaking into her ear before darting into the rubble. It made a squeaking sound, to tell Elanor to follow her, slowly she crawled after the creature, as it lead her through the rubble, tell she saw a small streak of light. Crawling faster, she saw a small gap in the rubble showing the sky. quickly shoving any rubble that she could, she tried to open the hole wider so she could escape with the small creature also helping to push was it could with its small body out of the way. Slowly the hole grew bigger, until Eleanor could slowly pull herself outside.

Taking a deep breath, she began coughing. Dirt and dust from the rubble had filled her lungs and her sudden deep breath caused her body to spasm as her lungs tried to force the dust out. She vomited up a yellow and red mucus that might have been her lungs clearing itself of the dust, and possibly some blood that ended up in her lungs. She laid on her side, knowing that a lot of her strength was gone, and she might puck again. And she did. Resting for a bit, she soon got enough strength to pull herself upright to examine her surroundings. It was like a fire, earthquake and tornado had all went through the town at the same time. It frightened her. They spoke how in times of old, a rogue dragon would wipe out a town entirely, but these were something different to a dragon. She knew dragons, but this was nothing she expected. Vomiting for a third time, her chest hurt from retching, but she believe she was done. Pushing herself up, she slowly wobbled off the rubble heap. Her cloths, that included her pleated cloak and white shirt with black shorts had luckily not been to damaged by the rubble, so she didn't have to worry about modesty, but she believed that she several bruises that were going to last for a bit. It could have much worse for her, though she looked human, her body could take much more of a beaten compared to a regular human, but she still hurts A LOT!

Slowly walking down the road she saw a group of people. Not sure if she should approach, the small creature climbed up to her ear and whispered. It thought she should go to them, even if there was complications, she was hurt and they still would be able to help, even if there was the complication that troubled her before the attack. Hugging herself, she slowly approached them, hoping that one of them might see her. Slowly processing words in her head, she tried to remember what she could.

Saki took a look around the Residential District as she made her way through the partially destroyed area. It had seemed recovery efforts were still ongoing here. Normally, Saki would stop and help the situation, doing what she could to make sure souls crossed over peacefully, but she couldn't risk losing time now. Not when Sara was after Akane. Saki had to arrive first, just to get the story from her Sensei. The purple wolf was hopeful that this was all a misunderstanding, but she knew that she'd be in for a fight if she was wrong. There was no telling what or who she would find at the end of her mission.

Doing her best to keep her Reiatsu signature suppressed, Saki ran around rubble and felt multiple other signatures besides her own. Various other races, all of them spiritually aware. They would be able to see her, despite not having a corporeal body. Not having a Gigai meant she wouldn't be seen by the mundane masses, but she was every bit as vulnerable to the spiritually aware. It was jjst a matter of keeping to the shadows and keeping a low profile while she tried to catch Akane's scent.

It was not until the potentially stealthy wolf rounded a giant pile of rubble that she actually got eyes on the group of individuals with the strong spirit signatures. The majority of them seemed to be relatively familiar with each other, with them all working to help the less spiritually inclined out of immediate harm. One of them was even busy using healing abilities on the wounded. Saki had been under the care of the 4th Division on more than one occasion, so she knew how potent they could be. Saki knew she might need a healer after her mission, so she kept in mind where to find one if she couldn't make it back to the Senkaimon. She took a deep breath, hoping this would go smoothly.

Two of the individuals were dressed in matching outfits. One of them donned in blue, whom was the one performing the healing, and the other clad in green. The two of them seemed to be some sort of magical girls. Could these two be some of the missing Mod Souls? Saki never cared for or against them either way. The powers that be sometimes, more often than not, had a liking to just marking their creations as obsolete. And that of course meant that they would be set up for disposal, or worse. The Mod Souls were created, but they were still a soul. Not born, and not a natural part of the cycle, but still alive for all intents and purposes. Nevertheless, these decisions were far above her authority. Not like she had any say so anyway.

The other individuals included in the group were of an eclectic variety. One looked to be some sort of witchy librarian, another a rather flamboyantly motioned individual. His movements were very exaggerated and grandiose. He and the witchy looking one seemed to be the oldest ones of the group, as the rest, from what Saki could tell, were all of the older school age. Teenagers, but they were helping to clear rubble and rescue civilians. Maybe there was hope for this place after all.

The majority of the group, while not all entirely familiar with each other, did seem to at least be friendly with one another. There were a couple of outliers, however. One loner was cleaning up rubble like the rest of them, but he kept eyeing the others incredibly suspiciously, shooting them ones he seemingly distrusted glares. However, this individual would be addressed by the grandiose individual from before. Saki lightly chuckled to herself. She had been on the receiving end of one of those remarks a few more times than she cared to admit. It was interesting to see it from the outside for once.

The other individual had a weakened signature. Saki could tell they were hurt by the way they were hobbling along. The injured girl was headed for the group of individuals helping to clean up and rescue. The healer should be able to get her sorted out properly. Saki thought for a moment to help her to the group, but quickly shook that idea from her head. That could cause more questions and headache than she wanted. Instead, she continued her trek through the residential district. Taking a moment to sniff the air, she barely caught it. Very faintly, hidden beneath the tones of salt and sea. That was it, that was Akane's scent! She was at the beach! Scrambling around the rubble, Saki took off at a full sprint towards the ocean, following the trail of Akane's scent, her heart racing in anxiety, unsure of what she will find ahead. All the purple haired wolf could hope for was for her comrade, her friend and teacher, to be alright.
