Share or ask for help with any gemsonas you've come up with! mine is Blue Amber, a pretty unique gem that goes from this in shade  to this in sunlight  and she does the same, along with having a personality to go with each color. Here is the best I've come up with for her appearance in both her color varients, though I was a bit limited with the options for gem placement with gaia items, her gem should actually be just below her breasts but would still be a smooth circle, like pearl's. I wasn't able to match them as perfectly as the character would really be due to limited color variants of some items and existing variants not looking as good so some of the items aren't exact matches but I think I did pretty good, let me know what you think. Display/ normal outfit   casual beach outfit   formal/ date outfit

I've got a Gemsona that's what it is, A Gemsona, and also an OC I made for the show n' stuff.
She's Mystic Topaz.
If I had my sketches of her, I'd put them up, but I'm currently without my sketchbook D:
She's drawn to look a lot like myself, following a color scheme of the Mystic Topaz and with an outfit design following something of the 50s/60s mainstream fashion.
She doesn't necessarily have a weapon, either. She can generate armor onto herself and others, so yeah.

here is the info on her
A gentle gem who fought for the humans in the great war, she was taken captive at the end of it. She was rescued by her longtime companion Luna and whisked to safety. Ever since she has wanted to make things right and strives to protect the humans at all costs.
She is shy around humans and other gems, since a gem was the reason she was captured and she had never seen humans before. Rose was the only gem she trusted, and the only gem that told her stories about the humans and the danger the were in.
 you'll be standing there waiting to lead me further.....she looks good. I'm slowly coming up with Amber's back story so it's cool to see what someone else has come up with

I'm Silicon. I'm not a jewel, I'm a crystalline metalloid.
I'm not as stable as other gems, but I more than make up for it.
In my body, I have high skill with technology. Both gem and human. And I can alter and augment it. My strongest ability is the ability to absorb energy and direct it. Lasers, sunlight, anything energy, but if I let off a powerful blast, I can loose my charge and go inert.
Sadly I'm easily knocked into my inert state. So your best bet for me in a fight is to fuse. Gaining the suffix Silicate.
Fused, I form a energy absorbing armor an the gem, it looks black and mirror like.
Finally, when inert, I can take over any electronic. Gem and human.
Normally I'm highly analytical, new to earth, I'm not good in the ways of humans and will appear cold and disinterested. I left homeworld at the start of the war, not wanting any part of it. And I've floated in space for a long time before crash landing on earth.

Hi there. My gemsona is Zircon. Zircon Gem:  Her gem is behind the eye patch and is in place of her eye. Her weapon is a harp/scythe.

Thank you I have actually worked out some of her backstory. She used to be a muse for the leaders of homeworld singing for them. Her gem used to be in her throat hence music. Her weapon of choice is a harp that she can manipulate and turn into a scythe. During the initial takeover of Earth she defected not wanting to fight or harm others. So she decided to join Rose and the Gems. During the battle she was captured by homeworld cracked and discarded to Earth where her gem was processed and turned into a eye piece for a statue. Zircon during that time lay dormant gathering up he strength and energy to reform. She had lost some of her memories after becoming cracked so it took her some time to regenerate and remember. She was found by another gem that went and hid on Earth about the time that she had been found she had regained her memory of being a gem though she still had trouble remembering who she was. She was found by the Crystal Gems and joined up with them. After she reformed her crystal was no longer in her throat, but now replaced one of her eyes since the gem had been formed as thus she remembered being in that form for a long time so it seemed only fitting for her gem to now replace one of her own eyes. I don't mind at all that looks super cool! I need to color her tbh and that is the exact hair I was thinking of I actually love the godina hair on here and modeled the length after it! <3 Thank you! I do hope my backstory sounded ok the gem I was talking about in her backstory that found her was Diamond an OC of someone I know. Diamond knew her before in home world and was able to fix her before leaving her to regenerate in a safe place after taking her from the statue. Diamond defected too because he didn't share the same view as the others. Diamond uses masculine pronouns and identifies as male which I thought was cool since Steven is the only male in the show I imagine there were other gems that were different genders too. Dunno though but it is a fan made characters so. biggrin I'm working on the details to help make the drawing of Diamond to with permission I will let you see him as well. EDIT: No worries on the scythe it's up for interpretation,that one just kind of fit and I was thinking about making the colors different anyways I kinda like the colors on that scythe!

I'm glad you like it, it took hours because how slow my computer is xp . I think your backstory is AWESOME, and I would love to see Diamond if they ok it. Here's amber's backstory (some of this is based on the fan theory that Rose Quartz was a high ranking/royal gem) The gem equivalent of a cousin to Rose Quartz but grew up more as sisters, was in periodic contact with Rose via wailing stone up to soon before Steven's birth, though Rose didn't tell the other crystal gems that they were still in contact. Amber didn't stay on homeworld by choice, she wanted to leave when Rose defected but due to her constantly switching personality yet royal status, she was kept locked away. Since she has lived on homeworld until recently, she is up on all the modern gemtech, even having a few robonoids of her own (whos color shifts like hers does, between orange and blue) which is how she got to earth. She sent a couple down and repaired the home warp when she heard that a ship had gone to earth. She warped in, redestroyed the homewarp and then warped down to earth. She stayed hidden, observing the gems and mainly her nephew, Steven for a few days before deciding that she should get to know this planet a bit first before introducing herself. She spent a few months working with an elderly couple in a small town a few miles inland of Beach City, testing how people reacted to her shifting colors and attitudes. She often used the couple's riding mower to cut their lawn and the locals would gather to watch her colors change as she went in and out of the shadows. She found that most people seemed to accept her, though there was of course the few people that couldn't accept someone so different. After that she returned to Beach City, and introduced herself to Steven and Amethyst and reminding Garnet and Pearl of who she was. She currently is staying in Rose's room, which opens for her when she touches Steven's gem and which Steven has instructed it to obey her requests. Personalities: Amber sunshine is upbeat, daring and a little nuts, kinda like Amethyst but more intelligent and responsible. Amber shade is more quiet, brave but not reckless, very gentle and understanding. Her weapon is a trident, she has control of plants like Rose, with minor skill manipulating water (small water whips and waterballs, like basic waterbending, no where near what lapis can do), figured out how to interface with human tech so she can obtain any info just by linking up.

Ah that sounds pretty cool! Zircon has a small control over water and ice to considering that is what the blade of her scythe is made out of. I did some research and found out that Zircon is used for decoration that's where the idea of her being set in a statue on Earth came from. :3 I really like your gem though that is cool that she changes color. I'm thinking of working on a set of twin sibling gems with them having a white and black scheme. I'm sure I'm going to use Onyx for the black gem but unsure about the white. I was going to make them a fusion like garnet and make them identical except for their coloring. I'm toying with making one twin a girl and one a boy but look very feminine. That or I'm just going to make them both girls. n.n
