	Anika was laying quietly in the sun, much of her viking party were sleeping off the raid they had gone on last night. Anika was terribly awake though, she was thinking of the male she had met a few days ago. She had given him an offer and she was sure that he would take it, however she hadn't seen him and she was pretty sure that she had scared him off. It was such a shame really, she had thought that the male was worthy. The dark female shook her head, she shouldn't be surprised, males were so rarely worth her time. Finding some rogue blood to sire her cubs was going to be harder than she thought. She let out a great sigh, what was a female to do.

	nessiaing He knew little about vikings, let alone their customs. However his meeting with that female the other day had him curious. Clearly she wouldn't believe word alone, and she shouldn't. He wouldn't if he was looking for someone to sire babies with. So he had to prove to her that he was worthy. She was looking for a fighter and apparently she was a good one, at least he would assume she was. So he was going to have to rough her up a bit. That was the only way to prove to her he could fight. Wasn't that how it was sometimes anyway? If the male could best the female, or even fight off another worthy opponent, wouldn't that prove his worth? It was going to have to do. There wasn't anyone else to fight and she was all there was. He had tracked her down to where she was now. Laying there. Resting perhaps? He had no idea. He was down wind of her and he was silent as he moved. Her back was to him so he pretty much had every available move open to him. His goal wasn't to kill her or horribly hurt her though. Just to get her to see that he was in fact strong. Females were often strong hunters that provided just as much support as the males, so there was no taking it easy. That wouldn't be fair, to him or to her. At least in his mind. He moved quickly and nearly silent paws carried him swiftly as he pounced. He had her back and therefore, he had a great advantage. Claws dug to grasp, not to tear anything too terribly deep, and teeth found the nap of her neck as his weight moved behind him. He rolled with his weight to force her body to move with him. As he clung to her he held her until the right moment to let her go in order to, toss her, so to speak. He wanted her to have the opportunity to fight back so that she might be able to gauge more than just his initial move.

	AstoriaFallen Anika had failed yet again, she hadn't heard or smelled the male before his claws sunk into her. She could feel his restraint, he could easily have done way more harm than he was. She admired his restraint, but she wanted to make sure he could fight when she fought back. As if he heard her thoughts she found her self spun around, she landed quickly on her feet. She bowed her head, ready to fight. She eyed up the male, he certainly had a size advantage on her but that should mean she would move quicker than him. Counting on her speed and agility she moved swiftly. She ducked in, trying to move in under him seeing if she would be able to flip him. She didn't wait she moved fast hoping in a way that she wouldn't succeed but she was trying her hardest.

	nessiaing She was quick, which was good in his book. Even though he would never see any offspring sired from her, it was good to know she was able. No one wants an unhealthy partner. Or a weak one. He watched her as she bowed her head lower to the ground and he awaited for her moment to strike. She ducked underneath him, which wasn't exactly hard to do, he was at a size that it was possible. Her momentum should have been enough to force him over but he used her force as she went inwards to push himself forward which allowed him to grab her farther side hind leg in his claws and he flipped himself forward over her. Her intention it had seemed was to push him up and over her the other way, but he used his weight to his advantage, since he was more front heavy. If she'd of came at him from the side, it might have worked better for her. He pushed the leg he had forward towards her other one as he rolled onto his back, trying to knock it against her other hind leg to cause her to stumble and he quickly rolled to his stomach in a crouched position and took a low lunge at where she should have ended up unless she was able to recover quickly and move.

	AstoriaFallen Anika was happy so far as she went down and under but it wasn't long before she felt the males claws in her leg and before she knew it he was in control of what should have been her attack. This was a good thing though he was proving his worth and so far so good. She felt his body shift over her and she was quick on her toes. She saw him lunge to the spot she was in just seconds ago. She laughed a little she was pleased with herself and how fast she had moved. "Okay now you attacked me by surprise, you defended yourself well, now I want to see what you have for me when I am ready and waiting for you." she told hiim. She put herself into a low crouch. She didn't want to leave herself open for an easy attack. "Bring it on" she said in a low voice.

	nessiaing He nodded at her command and he watched as she crouched low to the ground. This gave him little option to do much. He could always use his body weight but it was a matter of maneuvering into a position in which he could really do much of anything. Coming at her from the front like such would mean he would be met with a face full of claws and teeth more or less. What to do. If he were to leap over her it would expose his stomach, something he didn't really wish to do. He figured she wouldn't kill him because this wasn't what they were trying to prove, but it would be a stupid move none the less for him to make. Especially if this were a fight to the death, he would never do such a thing. Not on purpose anyway. He charged her then, low to the ground tensing up like he might pounce towards her directly on but just as he was about to release changed direction so that he went to the right of her and when his paws touched the ground forced himself into a slide that turned him and pushed of with his legs so that he would be coming at her from the side. He wasn't sure if perhaps his move had worked but she may have saw it coming. He was either going to catch her midsection or perhaps her hindquarters if he was lucky.

	AstoriaFallen It was a move that Anika hadn't seen coming, she had expected the male to come over her and leave his stomach exposed, a move that she would have very much taken advantage of. Instead though he came at her and when she though he was going to leap he turned. She had already started to move as if he was going to come over her and didn't have enough time to switch directions of what she was doing. He made contact with her hidequarters and she felt her self spinning. It had been a hard hit, and he had done well. Once she stopped spinning she regain her balance and stood up. Her hip would be sore later but it was nothing compared to some of the battles she had faced in the past. "If I didn't wish cubs from you I would tell you we could use you in my pride." she told him with a small laugh. It was a big compliment, but no this male would never be allowed to join the Stormborn, the cubs were to be hers and hers alone. "Do you have any questions for me?" she asked him.

	nessiaing He gave her a nod of his head as she gave him a compliment about the possibility of him joining her pride, if it wasn't for the cub thing. He was cool with it though. There was no real desire for him to leave his pridelands. This arrangement was good to him. "I'm pleased with the arrangement as it stands." It was true, he would never know the cubs that would be had but he knew at least they would be strong. That was all he wanted. "Where do you want to go?" He said looking around to see if there was a more secluded area. "Lead the way and I shall follow." He said awaiting for her command.

	nessiaing AstoriaFallen Anika gave him a quick nod then pondered his question. She certainly didn't want to lead him back to where the rest of her viking group was staying. No she didn't want anyone to know who the father was. No she would just return to the pride with cub and that would be the end of it, she was a Reaver no one had known who the father of the first litter was nor didd they need to know the father of the second litter. "This way." she said curtly, there was no reason to be overly friendly or warm, they both knew that was a business arrangement and nothing more. She strolled away looking over her shoulder only once to make sure he was following.

	nessiaing He followed behind her quickly and silently. Perhaps one day he would run into one of the offspring that might come of this, perhaps he wouldn't. Only the Gods could tell. But right now, there were other things to attend to. With that he trailed her as they headed off to handle their arrangement.
