[ Sveta : Traverse Town : First District Corner Café ]
"Check, please."
"Be right with you," replied the raven-haired waitress, flashing a small smile toward the seated patron before walking away. The young man had been to her small café fairly often--she recognized the faces of anyone that came by more than twice--and she held back the curious question about how his sandy brown hair being buzzed on the sides with the top pushed back.
She didn't ask because he wasn't frequent enough, and he certainly didn't live here. That meant he traveled. Travelers had a tendency of dying, so she learned to spare herself the mourning years ago, even if this one had lasted the longest.
As she rung up his bill, a young teen boy plopped down into her chair behind the counter, tilting it back on its two legs and crossing his hands behind his shaggy blond hair. "Quiet tonight?"
"Today," she corrected, tearing the receipt out of the machine and putting it in the bill folder to carry over. "What have you been up to, scamp?"
"Eh, just came from Al's, it's boring there, too," he said, yawning. "I could tell he was about to give me something to do, though, so I high-tailed it."
"Typical Jean," the woman teased, rolling her eyes before making her way back to the customer, who--as usual--was just staring out at the sky beyond the columns of the open-air café.
"Here you go, sir," she said, dropping the bill off. "Hope you've enjoyed everything."
"As always," he replied, smiling before handing her some munny--more than enough to cover his meal and the tip--without even glancing at the bill. "Only gets better."
"Well, thank you, too," she said, beginning to clean off the table as he stood up. It took her a moment to realize he hadn't walked away yet, and she stopped, glancing at him as his eyes stayed on the sky.
Finally, he sighed. "Two more," he said, his voice solemn. "Since I sat down."
It only took Sveta a second to realize what he meant, and her smiled faded into a grimace. Without responding, she turned her attention to the sky as well, leaning against one of the support columns and crossing her arms. The customer simply grabbed his coat off the back of his chair and walked out from the awning, giving a small wave behind his back as he headed toward the giant doors of the gummi hangar. "Stay safe."
"Yeah," she said, shoulders sagging and chipper tone lost. Even as she watched, another star started twinkling... "You do the same."
... and went out.

[ Mickey | Agrabah | Dunes ]
There was nothing but sand as far as the eye could see. Mickey turned in a full circle, and all directions were the same, with the exception of his gummie ship and his footprints leading away from it to the top of the dune where he now stood.
"Huh. So this is Agrabah," Mickey said aloud. He fiddled with his pockets, pulling out what could have been a piece of jewelry. It was a golden scarab, well, half of one. Like a friendship necklace, or a lock and key, it was clearly made to have a complimenting other half. He considered it a moment, furrowed his brow, hmm'ed, and pocketed it again.
Where in the world was he supposed to start looking?

{Inira : Traverse Town-First District}
BGM - Inira's Idle theme: Thoughts
---"Martin!"---
Inira's eyes shot wide open from her dream, the squirrel spastic flailed around on the ground for a bit on her back. The townsfolk stared at the seizure squirrel whom was squeaking and pawing at the air. If that didn't draw their attention, then the cloak and strange markings on her body did. After a few moments of staring at the darken sky of the location and the surrounding glow from streetlights and stores, Inira propped herself up and sat upright for a few moments. She took a few breaths to calm herself, she didn't want to have a heart attack.
Once gaining her bearings, she ran some questions through her mind. Where the bloody hell was she? How did she get here? What happened to the Abbey and everyone else? What were those monsters? AND GOSH DARN THOSE RATS! The flying squirrel huffed and balled her paws into fists. When she gets her paws on them... The last thing she remembered was chasing the distant figure of Martin, leading her through a white door and the white light engulfed her afterwards. Now she was in this weird place and...what is wrong with the ground?
Inira sprung up and erratically touched the ground, covered by some weird rock substance she was unfamiliar with. Finally stopping herself and take in her surroundings, Inira's jaw dropped at the sight. There were too little trees to be a forest, or even a clearing. That worried her, no where to hide if she gets attacked by anything. There are also too many strange animals walking upright around, animals of different heights and sizes, different colours and some are looking at her. They don't seem hostile right now, though she doesn't know what they eat, hopefully they are plant eaters.
Now she is hungry.
Inira quickly pulled out a sunflower seed and nibbled it down, then swiftly made her way toward one of the trees in the area. She had to make sure she didn't get trampled on.
"The spirits are plenty here...strange..." She muttered to herself, as she made her way along the edge of the crowds. She noticed that they weren't speaking to her, and the energy in the area was extremely plentiful compared to her home. She could feel the flow continuously seeping into her body, a slow but steady stream which fueled her steps. Maybe she can ask the locals (animals) about these strange beasts and contraptions.

~~~~~Suria~~~~~~
(((ON route Traverse town<> ON Wakanya’s back w. ???))
Cue: A Far distant Place
Flying through the sky was one thing, but flying through space itself was a whole new experience. Still- riding on the back of the massive summon warranted its own advantages. Magic was the only way to explain why the two riders were safe, breathing, even warm! Scaling bigger than a colossal dragon, the giant black bird soared on currents other than wind at a steady pace.
It’s lead rider trusted Wakanya knew where to go. The thunderbird was older then the mountains, and just as wise, surely it knew something- somewhere they could go. Pressing her face into the plush downy feathers under the protective primaries, she inhaled the lingering scent of moss, grass, dewy rain, cedar bark and smoke. Home. She could smell the memory of her home in the plumage of Wakanya’s feathers.
~~ Coming soon. Soon- we are almost there~~
“-soon-“ she repeated back, “- approaching, a place at a nexus of cross roads, fate and destiny, memories saturated, permeate… a place for the lost or lingering.” The girl pulled back and looked behind her, nestled in the massive plumage was another person, easily more than twice her size and bulk. Sharing a similar tint of green to their person, Suria smiled encouragingly at the Orcish chef, sorting the white hat and coat. “Waiting, waiting, always waiting, endless space, anxious, empty-?” While they had not ridden together long, by now the other passenger could theorize that not everything Suria said, was her own thoughts- “-sorry,” there, that usually signified she was probably excusing herself before she spoke properly to him, “We are approaching a safe place. Wakanya says it’s close. Thanks again for the things that were delicious.” Though sometimes what she said still confused him. Clearly there might be a cultural thing too? Delicious by which she meant the meal the chef had kindly provided during their trip. From the first day Suria and her companion appeared, landing in a flurry of powerful wind creating wing beats, the half-starved intoner was properly fed back to a suitable state of health thanks to the other passenger- Dor.
Much to his relief no doubt, what he first expected would be a massive animal about to eat him, turned out to be some kind of magical mount capable of crossing worlds, and so for the past 4 days the two had been traveling partners on the back of this massive beast.
[Doresk: Between Worlds: Wakanya's Back(to Traverse Town)]
The half-orc was staring off into space(literally) when Suria spoke. He looked at her, watching her as she talked. Mainly because he felt he needed to translate her a bit in his head. She had a weird...way of talking sometimes. It still kind of confused him, even after four days. Well, maybe it didn't confuse him as much as the current situation he was in.
A giant bird coming down on his 'camp', looking like it was going to eat them, then this little girl on top of it asking for food. And now he was currently riding the bird to another world. Definitely his strangest mode of transportation.
"Don't think anything of it. I feed us, you steer this monstrous bird. It all works out." He shrugged, then started digging through his pack. Had to make sure everything was in place if they were going to land anytime soon. And maybe pull some things out. He wasn't the biggest fan of 'surprise encounters' upon coming to a new world, after all. But it probably wouldn't be anything too bad. Well, he figured, anyway.
~~~~~Suria~~~~~~
(((ON route Traverse town<> Between Worlds: Wakanya’s back w. Doresk)))
The girl beamed, enjoying his fixated dutifulness when it came to his equipment. Doresk was a tangle, yet carefully stacked assortment of purpose. His focus was his food, his pursuit of food, it was a shining light, more precious than any single object- no- it was a collection of achievements, capable of fashioning any number of joys. Having not been around another mortal being for so long, she practically drank in what was radiating from him, it was fascinating. When she wasn’t spouting a tirade of non-sequiturs mingled between her own thoughts and his feelings, she was in rapt silence. Listening.
Just listening to him and everything else.
She asked him about the tools in his pack, and it filled up some of the empty space between them during their few days together.
“Do you think there will be more interesting things to cook where we are going? I hope so, Wakanya says many lights are clustered there, like a web entanglements. Surely one has a kitchen.”
She turned towards him a little, her stature a screaming contrast against him, but compared to the vastness of the giant mount they were one, both had enough wiggle room. She fidgeted with the pendant around her neck that hung on the lose chain. Space reflected in its polished facets.
She could feel it getting louder. There was a faint thrum at its core, meaning it was working harder, steeling itself. This was her ward, not perfect but enough to keep things balanced. She knew they were getting closer for the ward was strengthening, which could only mean- more lights in the ether were coming closer.
A few more minutes at most. With a mighty wingbeat she could feel Wakanya begin a circling decent towards a distant world floating in the abyss.

{Inira : Traverse Town - First District}
BGM - First impressions
"Hey there, fella, You alright?" It wasn't the words that got Inira's attention, but the sounds as the flying squirrel looked down from her position, at the one of the strange beasts of this world trying to talk to her. She had absolutely no idea what did it say to her, it sounded more like words than a hungry roar. Observing, the shaman noted that it didn't try to attack, from the stance it wasn't going to be a pounce of some sort. The beast didn't smell of blood and evil either, well you don't smell evil but animals know these kinds of things.
"Sorry, but I can't understand you or your kind." Inira spoke back in response, which sounded like a squirrel clicking it's front teeth together in a rhythmic sound. This frustrated her immensely, she was a Spirit Caller, the one who speaks to things beyond their plains and she can not for the life of her communicate with the natives of the area.
A strange soft gust of wind blew by, as the dark moss green rings on Inira glowed dimly and pulsed along with the spirits of the world she was connecting to subconsciously. The chatter of the beasts in the area suddenly became coherent, and Inira blinked as she realized she could understand them.
"Well thank you spirits, that was rather helpful." She muttered to the forces unseen, and then noted back to the beast still waiting for an response."Excuse me, but can you repeat yourself from your previous statement?" She asked clearly but politely, hey this beast could be the tribe leader or something of all the other beasts, got to keep your head on at all times. Her voice was higher pitch and was somewhat fast as she strung the words together.

[ Mickey | Agrabah | Dunes ]
The city, of course.
Mickey had landed far enough away so as not to draw attention. He had noticed rockier places, an ocean, the pyramids, and other cities while flying in. It was night. His ship was in "Stealth Mode." It wasn't likely that anyone had noticed him.
This city, though, was where he needed to be. The general vicinity, at least. 'That cave is somewhere around here, and someone else has got to know about it,' Mickey thought. Mickey pulled his hood up, obscuring his face from sight. Time to go talk to the natives. He started off toward Agrabah, the moon lighting his way.

{Inira : Traverse Town - First District} BGM - Bonds with Companions
The squirrel looked absolutely just as shocked at Sveta who was talking at the moment. She wasn't expecting some random stranger, let alone a very large beast in size comparison, to be concerned about her well-being. Regaining her composure, for Martin sakes she is an important figure and should act like one, Inira bowed toward Sveta.
"Thank you for your concern umm Warrior Sveta, but I am just dandy...minus the rather rough landing though." Inira replied, rubbing the spot on her back which she landed on from before. Inira wasn't very sure if Sveta was male or female, and went with a rather general term for her folk back home. And while at that, lets assume Sveta is a fighter as well, even though many cooks and cleaners weren't, it's a good title to give to anyone at the Abbey.
"My name is Inira Sciuridae of the Volanti, or Inira. May I ask what exactly are you and all the rest of your species? It is the first time I ever saw anything like this before." Inira answered the question and then asked her own, gesturing her paw toward the rest of the humans in the area. She had so many questions, but the most important ones first. Her eyes were round and wide at the flickering artificial lights of the human worlds. So much to learn, but very little time, for she was more worried about her comrades at the Abbey and what happened to her home of Mossflower.
"I'm...new I guess around here? I would like to find my friends and return home as soon as possible."
