so with this RP can we take elements from all current square-enix / disney things i.e. bravely default or star wars/marvel universes or are we sticking strictly to disney worlds or the canon for the game.
cause I really want a vibroblade ;~;

Yes, this is based in Kingdom Hearts.

No, you do not have to limit yourself to Disney and SquareEnix worlds.

Yes, you can play whatever the heck you want from wherever the heck you want.

All I ask is that you stick to the character's personalities. If you absolutely must alter them, then have a good reason for it.

I'm more for the completely canon history, despite wanting canon to have no part in the actual rp. I guess it's because a history that's completely canon leaves less room for shenanigans. A history that doesn't have much room for interpretation gives a solid basis for the rp that's built off of it. While some might see the ability to go back whenever and edit unsatisfactory bits of history as a strength, I see it as a weakness that could lead to plot holes in the history and debates over what's a better history and why. KH's history (from what I recall reading on the wiki) is good as it is, and just taking the canon one as is means less work for whoever is in charge of setting up this rp xp .

Nah it's just that Zackery's shield will still protect him against a lightsaber so he won't just die if he comes up against that

Awesome! Things that can block a lightsaber are always really cool. For some reason, I'm imagining Captain America's shield, lol.

Yeah, gonna give it til Saturday before tallying it up. If it becomes blatantly one-sided, it'll be easy, but as it is now, it looks like it'll be a compromise of sorts.

On the topic of lightsabers, to have at least some semblance of fairness, I'll probably include a caveat that enchanted objects can't be cleaved like an ordinary item. If so, it'll also probably be based on the strength of the enchantment on said item; a blade that has a basic fire enchantment will probably still be cleaved, but, say, armor that's been enchanted by a high level magus, or something that's been enchanted for a long time, will be safe.

Basically, it'll probably come down to age, strength, and source. If it 1) is old, 2) is powerful, or 3) comes from a powerful source (whatever that may be), it will withstand a lightsaber as if it were a normal blade. All it needs is one of those traits.

I just want a keyblade... if that's at all possible. Considering how they're important to the plot and no doubt will be a popular choice, I can understand if keyblades will be limited.

I'm really excited for this new RP! I can finally join in on one without being utterly confused as to what's going on!

Also, for my input, I like the one where the history does happen, but, like, we can just mix around the facts a bit to make it all loosey goosey. I dunno, I have a strange loyalty to sticking to the original plot. Possibly as a guide for a potential plot or something.

Anyway, super excited! I don't care what's chosen, I'm just eager to RP again! It's been so long!
