Mizu_Kage_Hikari Kagetsukiko All in all, I like the idea of a few people playing their rpcs as near-invincible, world-destroying villains while the rest of us work against them. You're going to love Cupcake~ *cackles off into the sunset*

Kagetsukiko fractalJester Kagetsukiko Hm. Having the main antagonist be an rpc rather than an npc is certainly something I'd be down for. What do you mean? I was just expressing my opinion Psalm wanting to make an evil rpc 3nodding . At least, I assumed that's what she meant by "play my bad guy." Rpcs tend to just naturally be more interesting than npcs, probably because whoever is playing the character feels more invested in it if it's their own. Antagonists, like any other character, also tend to have more depth if someone is roleplaying it as their own character, even more if it's their main character in the rp. All in all, I like the idea of a few people playing their rpcs as near-invincible, world-destroying villains while the rest of us work against them.
Completely agree! I'm gonna villain it up for sure, let everyone just try to stop me! Muwahahaha!!! Everyone will hate my character. cool
While still being completely respectful and not godmodding, of course; I'll ask you if I can kill your character or horribly mutilate them, or whatnot.

Alright, its been a week (give or take a few hours) and the results are:
Before KH1: 1 Instead of KH1: 7 After KH1: 0 Don't care: 2
Practically unanimous, really--especially considering the one person who voted Before also said they'd like Instead-of.
As such, NEW POLL! I included the explanation for the new poll in the first post, but here it is:
fractalJester Anyway, onto the next poll: how much of Birth by Sleep should we consider 'canon' to this roleplay?
For example, when I say 'Absolutely faithful', I mean that the RP's history is the exact same as the game's events. No deviations at all.
But if I say 'Semi-faithful', I mean that only the main events happens. Yeah, Terra, Aqua, and Ventus did their thing against Xehanort--but maybe they weren't the only ones? Maybe they went to different worlds... maybe it even ended differently.
However, if I say 'Completely different', that's exactly what I mean--Terra, Aqua, Ventus, Xehanort, Eraqus... they didn't even exist. Or if they existed at all, then maybe what happened is ABSOLUTELY different. Maybe Eraqus is the bad guy... or maybe something else. There is little-to-no likeness between this RP's history and Birth by Sleep.
So, what do you think?
So, let the voting commence! As always, there's the neutral 'don't care' option.
If you choose one of the two 'different' options, please let me know what qualities you might want to include, or some qualities you don't want to include at all!
HOWEVER!!!!!
I know there are some people who haven't played Birth by Sleep. And rather than have the roleplay include 'spoilers', they might think to just vote for absolutely-different.
Let me make one thing clear: you will not need any information from Birth by Sleep to participate in this roleplay.
This poll is mostly for my own benefit--I need to know how the roleplay's past went before I can set up the present. And just as with the last poll, I just want to know your own stances on that topic.
Let me repeat, you will not need to have played Birth by Sleep to participate in any meaningful way. The knowledge is almost entirely so I know where to let certain pieces of the puzzle fall.
