"yeah, most of the time. I mean, someone's gotta keep a eye on Jax. I mean, he's getting some of his mother's bad attributes like killing for sport. Jaster's not strong enough still to control him."

He gently kissed Reiko on her cheek gently and blushed

"If he bothers you again, I promise I'll make him regret it." Reiko replied to Eric as she held his hands. Her petite fingers closed around her boyfriend's tightly as she gazed around the room, now just able to take in its features. "Alex said he took the exam here once. I can only imagine how hard it could be."

Eric laughed
"or i'll just sap his strength again" he said tugging on his gloves chuckling
He listened to Reiko and smiled
"Kalena made this room with little to no technical know how. Im pretty sure DIZ also had to help out. Anyway, it can do a normal mark of mastery test where there are light and dark orbs in which you have to wipe out the dark orbs and leave the light orbs. Its harder than it sounds. The not so normal mark of mastery is to face your worst nightmare and deal with the exam as well, not knowing which are light orbs and which are dark. ITs very tricky. " he rubbed his head.
"Ive gotten past both versions but I still haven't claimed mastery. Family can't teach or give the mark of mastery exam to family im afraid. If what Kalen and Eclipse say is true, they're my cousins if they are really from Kalena's brother. I just wish she'd find him already and stop going so....nuts"


He sensed a great amount of darkness on the academy's outer gardens for a second before it dissipated.

Reiko sighed worriedly about her Eric, but just clung onto him as she experienced another one of her dizzy spells. She stumbled slightly before shaking her head. "Sorry. Still not used to coming all the way up here still..."

Eric gently sighed and lifted Reiko up into both of his arms. He sat down in the vine chair.
"it ok dear, it takes a lot to withstand some of the areas" he explained as he kissed her forehead gently taking away her dizziness.

The room changed form into a relaxing forest, the pressure of the room disappeared.

Eric suddenly looked around and started to look around. He took off his gloves slowly.

Kalena was leading Angra towards the Mastery Prep room.
"sometimes I don't know how to help him. As long as he keeps his calm, he's not...too....dangerous. Well....as long as he keeps his gloves on. His mother...my youngest daughter, was very shy, but I think he gained a lot from his father, especially with nature."

Misty walked ahead of Kalena and Angra
"im headed in first. If he snaps..." she turns to Angra and Kalena. She then chuckles

The moment when Eric started to strangle Misty he appeared out of Eric's shadow and placed his hand on one of his shoulders and said in a intimidating tone."Let.Go.Now."Making a command towards him that felt like someone dropped truck onto him with Angra's voice alone, He then pressed down on Eric's shoulder lightly which had enough force to override Eric's strength and would force him to get on his knees as from Eric's perspective it feel as if a mountain was slowly pressing down onto him."Do you dare me to repeat myself?"Angra said as the pressure being pressed against Eric would start to increase and stop at a cirtain point as if he pressed any harder he would have turned Eric's entire skeleton into powder.

Eric felt the intense pressure. He snarled releasing Misty and quickly grabbed Angra's wrist and started to throw him over his shoulder. His magic wasn't as strong as Angra's but it started to grow more the held he onto Angra's wrist.

Angra didn't move the entire time Eric grabbed him as his throw would have never been finalized due to the position Eric was currently in with Angra continuously pressing down on him however Eric was infact trying to absorb his Darkness but unfortunately for him it was endless, It was like trying to judge the ends of the universe..All eric found was an endless sea of black that stretched on forever. As this happened Darkness tried to stretch it's depreprid claws onto Eric's body as it could be seen visually slithering up his arm trying to fixuate itself onto his arm permenently and as this happened whispy whispers jittery and cold echoed in Eric's head as he continued to hold onto Angra who was casually smoaking while this was still happening, Still unfazed by what was happening to him.

All of them were shouting in his head continusly in a seemingly disorganized chorus as the shoting would only increase in volume the longer he latched onto him threatening to drop him into a state of insanity. But before this happened Angra performed a simple quick jab on his end to Eric's unprotected stomach with the attempt to push him away before his mind degraded beyond repair, But despite the simplicity of it, The punch held more power than a single stick of explosive dynamite."You had you fill? Or you want to snack on some more?"He asked threatenly, And after what Eric had just experienced he doubt the answer was going to be a cheery yes.

Eric growled as he was hit away. He didn't slouch after the hit or even seemed like he got hit.

Jax peeked his head in
"hey losers, whats going on?"

Eric pounced on top of Jax pulverizing him then jumped off and knelt down in a crouched position before getting to his feet again. He held his head calming down.

"uh....oh, hey guys" he seemed calm now, he grinned then looked to Kalena, then to Misty whom Kalena was healing.
"oh oh...uh....did....I do that?".

Kalena softly nodded
"you were having flashbacks again weren't you?"

Eric rubbed brushing a few stray hairs from his face
"some days its worse than others."

Jax snarled as he started to push himself up

Eric looked at Jax
"you deserved what was coming to you."

He turned towards Angra and gave a innocent smile

An i'm your teacher starting today."

He then noticed Misty leaving and so he waved her goodbye as she left him alone with the other three.
